When I asked why the price was higher than the people's who recommend impact I was told they would have to take our plantation shutters down and rehang them and that is a lot of labor. They did not take any of the shutters off. Ended up having a one man crew show up at 11:00am on the first day and it went down hill from there. Took 9 days onsite to get the job done greatly disrupting our work and personal schedules. We understand things come up with jobs but the lack of communication was very poor and they just kept telling us it would be done tomorrow. When I contacted Austin the construction project manager about a discount for the inconvenience he told me that impact shouldn't have quoted me 1-2 days for the job and that's the work was done and that's all the contract says they have to do. Maybe they quoted me 1-2 days to get me to sign the contract.
