Not only did he give me a fair price, he hung a zippered plastic around the whole area I lived in, was more than considerate of my needs, completed the job in the time frame he stated, and did a major extra repair that could not be foreseen at no extra charge. My ceiling is gorgeous. Smooth, white and more than I could have asked for. They left me with no mess to clean up and literally washed a smear that got on my woodwork. Would and do recommend them to everyone I know . They left me feeling like I made a new friend and I am so happy with my home now. Thank you Mr. Ferrara and Deanne!

He came by to look at the job in person and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He expressed his sympathies for my situation and told me he would love the opportunity to fix my ceilings. I could tell this wasn't just another job to him. Bill actually cares about helping his customers. He guaranteed I'd be happy with the outcome and promised to leave my ceilings looking like the damage never happened. I asked him how soon he could start and he said he could start the very next day! By the end of our meeting I knew he was the best person for the job. He was so easy to work with, always professional , always positive, and completed the job expeditiously ! Bill's been doing drywall work for over 40 years and has truly perfected his craft. He did an amazing job covering up my wall and floors to ensure they remained free of paint and debris. Diane, his spouse / business partner swept and mopped for me when he was all done. They make a great team. Don't be discouraged by the fact that Bill doesn't have too many reviews. He's been too humble to ask anyone to leave reviews for him ! But notice that the reviews he does have are great!! I encouraged him to start asking for online feedback from here on out so that people know how great he is at his job! I'm absolutely satisfied with the quality of his service and would 100% recommend him to anyone in need of these services.

Finding a reliable and affordable house repair can be lengthly affair, look no further that Steve and his crew to help with your project. On our first repair job, Rotten exterior wood was replaced with a PVC board product that looks great! We were so pleased with Steve's craftsmanship and attention to detail, we hired him again in 2023 to totally replace our aging siding on our sunroom. Steve listened to what we were looking for, and promptly quoted us a price. We are VERY pleased with the outcome - cedar siding in a natural look, with PVC replacement boards for the trim. He and his brother-in-law even replaced 2 external light fixtures (customer provided) and the total project is super nice. Steve, his son Nick, and his brother-in-law are some the best skilled and attentive craftsmen that I have been involved with. Now here is the sad part - SC Gallagher moved recently to Aiken, SC and now we are forced to find another contractor as skilled as Steve. I would definitely contact Steve for your project needs. The owner of this company is wanted by Aiken Department of Public Safety and has a currently active…read morefelony arrest warrant. The following events took place after taking my $13,500. Gerald the owner started the process by giving false information to the City of Aiken permit department. Gave wrond building definitions and omitted multiple major structure details from the permit request all together. Automatic roll up door, plumbing details, stairwell, attic decking for storage There was no actual work done at my home as agreed, no materials delivered, he then refused to work under our original contract without $6,000 in additional funds prior to stepping foot on my property tondona single day worth of work. Let's not forget to mention that the demand for additional money was for slab work that was included in the contract. He tried to be slick and I didn't allow it. Later he stated a partial refund was in process. Never gave refund. It is approaching 300 days since he took my money with a smile on his face and then turned in my opinion as what I would best describe as a very spoiled toddler. Tantrums included. I know from my experience that this guy told me what I wanted to hear and flipped his personality after he had my money. This is my personal experience with Gerald and does not reflect how he has treated mutliple other customers that have alleged accounts of his personnal and business behaviors being similar in nature. My situation does not mean that he would treat potential customers the same in the future. What im saying is this.. if it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck, its a good idea not to feed that duck any of your . Gerald is human he doenst quack so ducks are irrelevant. Just do your research and decide what to do for yourself. My opinion doesnt matter.

We hired PGC Installation / Gerald to repair our home after hurricane Helene . The project is not…read morefinished to date . Gerald always has an excuse why he or his guys cannot do what they were paid for and agreed to. We attempted to work with Gerald in the beginning . Guy never showed when he said he would. There is always a reason work cannot be done ie waiting on permits , the batch plant was behind , the lumber mill was behind , he was running behind. The small amount of work that was done was substandard . When you question him about his/his guys work he will lead with trying to berate you. As he is the licensed and bonded expert. They laid shingles over partially repaired structure , of course no drip edge , ridge vent severely off Centered and I was told that he was the professional and he was satisfied because the was the only licensed residential builder in the conversation. When I told him that I had other roofing companies come inspect to see how much it was gonna cost me to clean up his mess he said that he would sue the other companies if they said his work was substandard. ( Several VERY reputable roofing companies ) wanted no part of doing the roof after looking at the structural repairs that PGC made and wrote letters to show the reasons that they wouldn't accept the work . PGC used previously used synthetic membrane from the tear off with holes in it with the previous roofing companies logo on it to repair a leak in the synthetic membrane that they installed. The roof was left with no shingles and only said membrane for almost two weeks . The day they removed the shingle's from the roof they left piles of shingles and nails in front of both entrances to the home. We had to tell him that we didn't feel comfortable that one of the two gentlemen tearing off the roof had a baby crying in the truck parked in my front yard when I came home from work. It was immediately brought to his attention because that is a liability that I was not willing to shoulder .It took MONTHS to pour a 16x20 concrete pad for my out building that still stands empty ( as in no building or even the materials that were paid for) . We rented a VBRO for almost two months during the time that he was scheduled ( a timeline he agreed to with the insurance company I might add )to repair the inside of the home and replace the duct work. Never worked on our home during the time table that HE set . He also asked for an extension and never showed then either . We retained an attorney and sent a right to cure letter which is required by the state of South Carolina to before you can terminate a contract and sue a contractor. The process server could not locate him at the address on his contract , nor the address that is registered with the state to serve him with a lawsuit .Then we attempted to tap his bond ,he is bonded but not for the amount that he signed that he had with our bank. The bond was denied because he claims he was fired with no right to cure letter . The last interaction we had with Gerald he used inflammatory statements and then used his phone to PARTIALLY record part of the response to try and say he was fired. I have every text , email , picture, document to back every statement that has been made in this review. I will gladly meet him for a day in court if he should ever choose to show up and be a man and accept responsibility for his and his companies actions . If anyone has any questions I will be glad to prove EVERY statement that has been made here. Steer clear of this company make sure you look further than the google reviews you will find similar stories. It is only fair that the CSRA should know and see the work of PGC Installation so that they can make an informed decision . Gerald if you wish to respond to this please do so with your attorney as mine has been waiting for your response for months .
