Last August I discovered my house flooded because of a broken pipe at 5:30 in the morning. I immediately called my insurance agent and they called Service masters. I was told SM would be right over. They arrived at 9 AM. Their attitude was very nonchalant. Meanwhile, I was in a panic. I had almost almost all the water out of the house myself. They tore out the baseboards and threw them away, which was fine. But they also ripped out the bottom of the kitchen cabinets and threw them away. These easily could've been saved, and they were extremely difficult to match later. They brought in dehumidifiers and blowers. I moved all of my things from the downstairs to the upstairs. Service masters came every day for 12 days to dry out my house. When they finally left, my friend, who is a contractor fixed everything in my house. When I was putting things away, I discovered many many things missing. I had a $400 Tiffany crystal bowl that was gone. Lots of cleaning supplies, two sets of Rubbermaid shelves , and some expensive tools from the garage. I called Service masters and gave them the information. They wanted to know if I had pictures of anything that was missing. I actually had one photo showing part of the Tiffany bowl sitting on the floor next to boxes upstairs. The owner/manager of Servicemasters refused to do anything about the theft. He said that the workers had no reason to go upstairs and therefore they could not have stolen anything. The worst part is that they charged my insurance company over $10,000 for their services. My contractor was shocked when he heard that. He called it "highway robbery." I should've called my contractor from day one. And for that price, I could've bought the dehumidifiers and blowers on my own. If you're going to use Service masters. Put cameras up everywhere. Because they will steal from you. read more

We had a flood in our home while we were out of town, August 2022. It devastated the main floor and basement of our home do to an angle-stop failure. Our insurance company contacted ServiceMaster ORC for the mitigation. Even though they are housed on the other side of Phoenix, they were here immediately. We had 52 fans in our home for a couple of weeks and ServiceMaster ORC was over every day to measure the moisture. They worked tirelessly removing wood and tile flooring, our entire kitchen including cabinets, whole walls and the ceiling downstairs, packing out all our belongings carefully, and cleaning up and removing all debris daily. Not only that, but their professionalism and care was outstanding. We were so impressed, we asked the owner, Noah, to complete the restoration process as well. They were spectacular in that restoration. We asked that they save our kitchen cabinetry so they removed them and took the them to their cabinetry shop. The skill and restoration of our cabinets wowed us. Our beautiful cabinets are once again beautiful. Their accounting department walked us through the insurance process and answered every question in simple language. It made an over-whelming process bearable. We absolutely loved the crews that were in our home for months. Ignacio and his crew put up new sheetrock, textured walls, painted, replaced molding, installed our beautifully restored cabinetry, skillfully put in our wooden and tile flooring, took care of all electrical hook-ups, and completed the back-splash. All of this was done to a journeyman level. They were all kind, professional, and very very competent. Dustin, the supervisor for our project, was wonderful. He was in constant contact with us, kept us informed as to when the crews would be over and what they were going to be completing. If a problem arose, he quickly took care of it. Because we had never had a claim like this against our insurance company, Kristen their resource between ORC, the insurance and mortgage company was so patient with us. She walked us through this daunting process explaining details and simplifying the process as much as possible. To a person, we were thoroughly and completely satisfied. Absolutely loved the service from this company, Alexis the owner got back to me right away and was able to schedule my drywall repair very quickly. I have a laundry room at my new house that needed some drywall done in three spots, and while I was out golfing , they fixed every hole perfectly and even painted it white to match the wall!! I was very happy with the end result and so thankful they did this so quickly ! I highly recommended this company for any restoration needs that you have! Terrible experience. 6 workers showed up to take every last item from our home after a fire/smoke damage, and only 1 of the 6 could speak a little English. Since I don't speak Spanish, this created a problem, because I couldn't communicate with the majority of workers as to what items were fragile, not to take, etc. Consequently, items were taken which shouldn't have been and broken...family keepsakes. Workers were laughing and pointing to us and talking in Spanish...very uncomfortable. Most importantly though, I was asked to sign a BLANK disposal form when they arrived, and found out the next morning (less than 24 hours after pack out) over 51 items were "disposed of" without my knowledge. The company apologized for this, but this is unscrupulous and extremely questionable. Of course, I had no recourse because I had signed a blank document (my bad) and trusted them to check with me before they added items to the list like they said they would After the trauma of a fire, I was in no condition to question them about it, but I sure should have! For example, the refrigerator was only 2 years old and the insurance company declared it a total loss, but WE were supposed to be able to keep it (maybe in our garage?) if we chose to do so until it stopped working. Instead it was immediately "disposed" of... very questionable. And there were 50 other items which disappeared as well, without our consent. Absolutely unethical. Bottom line...don't sign a blank document like I did! Extremely slow in communication with the owners afterwards. This company was paid over $40K for our claim, and should have had much better service for this amount of money. read more

Showed up on time. Explained the carpet cleaning process thoroughly. Very friendly & was very efficient. Billing was flexible and also very very accommodating. There was a ripple in the carpet the afternoon of the cleaning. I reached out and was told if it didn't correct itself by morning, they'd send someone right out to fix it. Next morning , carpet was fine. Highly recommend this company! read more

I had a verse osmosis system fail and had water coming out like a water fall in my garage. Service Masters came right out and got things dry, removed drywall, baseboards etc. Set up dryers. Was not a big job for them, but they did a great job. Very nice service people and then the very next week I had a supply line break and I had water all over, all most half of my house. They were right there when we (my insurance and me) called them. The team they sent out was great. It was a very stressful time and they were understanding and oh so helpful. They were professional and showed me so much empathy! Took lots of picture from the insurance company, and were great about helping me with each "next" step! What a great team, really had my back. Thanks to Chris, Dylan and Casey they got all the damage cleared out and did their best to save everything they could. Casey is great at keeping the guys on track, and kept me, the customer informed. read more
