I contacted my long time trusted insurance agent, regarding the need to remove the entire tile roof and patio on my aging house. Without hesitation she said "Pelican Power." Gave me two names and a phone number. I contacted Patrick and he came oaut on the same day and we discussed some options. (He observed a leak, and placed a tarp over the area, account rain was forecast the next couple of days. He later contacted me to check if the tarp was holding up. He emailed me several quotes within a couple hours. I made the decision to have Pelican Power, remove the roof and to replace damaged plywood, all underlayment felt, replace all jacks vents, drip edge metals and more. On the same day Henry contacted me to set up a scheduled start date for the 3 day job. I paid the required down payment so they could order the material and get on the schedule. The schedule was for the very next week. The rains came and set back the project several days. The crew was very hard working and cleaned up, after everyday of work. I might add, that Pelican Power was monitoring rain conditions so the work was completed with ideal conditions. My tile roof was 26 years old, and I had been thinking about getting it replaced. In April, I noticed about 2 dozen houses in my same neighborhood all getting their tile roofs replaced. All of our roofs are the same age, 26 years old. Then 2 weeks ago my neighbor had his replaced by Pelican Powers, and I watched the process, it took about 2 1/2 or 3 days. When it was completed, I got a hold of them, and Patrick came out that same afternoon, last Thursday. They started Tuesday morning, and completed today, Thursday. The roofing crew was great, and in these temperatures of 116-118 degrees, they worked right through it. They also totally cleaned up everything before they left. I had a roof replaced with Pelican power about a month ago. The quote was requested on a Saturday late afternoon and by Sunday morning Patrick of pelican power viewed the roof and submitted a quote. By the following weekend the work was finished. This is a very good company to work with. Their rates are competitive. I have bought and sold many homes and this was one of the few companies i like to recommend. Pelican provided pictures of the job site as they progressed. Pelican came to the rescue when we needed them desperately after the Fall 2018 record rainfall caused a leaky roof to cave in and ruin the paint, ceiling and carpeting in our guest bedroom. I had a major flood in my condo last week. My insurance agent recommended Pelican to me. I frantically called and they arrived 45 minutes later. Water was extracted and fans and dehumidifiers were brought in. They removed very wet carpet and the drying process has been completed.
