No communication externally or internally. To date nothing has gone as I was originally told. The number of inspections of my roof needed to in order to even hire a company to replace my roof is crazy. If a person at your company has completed an inspection, there should be zero need for another person in the same company to waste a week to complete another inspection. Then, the vendors they are hiring also have to do an inspection. Which makes me question what value does ATI even bring to the table. At this rate my roof will be replaced and I will lose out on being able to recover the depreciation cost from my insurance. No one follows up with me until weeks after the last communication. They cannot even be bothered to update client contact information delaying this process even more. I honestly wish I never had to experience this company. The project manager demolished the inside of our house and now just walked away. They even demolished our bathroom and the toilet is sitting in our living room! ATI Restoration - Like new!! - Damage Restoration Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Back in July 2023. I had to bids for damage to upstairs bathroom and kitchen. Both bids that I received were under $12k. My insurance company said price was to high. I went with a recommend company on there list. In Oct 2022 ATI restoration started the negations with my home ins. In Jan 2023 contract was signed for a little over $6k. Within 30 days ATI came back and said that the person that gave the quote was fired and gave me the wrong quote. I had paid half down of $3k. About two months later after dealing with home ins. ATI comes back with a quote over $12k. They would not refund me the money I had put as a down payment. The job was a headache dealing with ATI. There lack of communication was horrible. ATI had excuses for everything. A job that was suppose to take 2-3 month max ended on July 10th 2023. After filing a complain in 2023 with BBB. The boss of ATI pleaded with me to withdraw my complaint if we worked something out. They didn't keep there word. Not only did I have phone meeting with the boss of ATI. He also suggested the team in-charge be in our meetings because they should hear my complaint. The job was finished July 2023. My tenant was getting $500 off rent per month since Oct 2022-Aug 2023. I feel ATI committed fraud from the very beginning. When they quoted $6k and took the contract. There communication is the worst Ive seen in a business. ATI has offered two months rent and suggested my ins pay me for the time rent was lost. I find that criminal because they should be the ones paying for not doing there jobs correctly and placing a low bid to get the job. I feel ATI should honor there initial quote. They are at fault for there employees not the customer. I have read many reviews on ATI and this is not the first time they have done this. I request that BBB put out there of companies that are not trust worthy like ATI. The other thing there employee called my home owners insurance to see what I got paid for the rent lost and then wanted to change the price on the bill. I had the pleasure of working with ATI after recent water damage in my home. ATI was recommended to me by my insurance provider and their reviews were great compared to several of the other recommended companies. My entire repair process was very smooth and the quality of repairs was great. Drew conducted my initial estimate. I was impressed by Drew as he was very polite and professional and he located damage I had not noticed. He did a great job of explaining the process so I could better plan for the repairs. I was then contacted by the project manager, Riccardo. Riccardo was also polite and professional. I really liked how the project manager also wanted to see the damages prior to repairs to ensure nothing was missed and the crew had everything they needed to conduct the repairs. Riccardo was able to schedule the crew for a date that was convenient for me. My repair crew was Ryan and Christian. Both were fantastic! They took great care to protect my home from further damage as they completed the repairs. I was impressed how they contained all the repair areas to keep dust and debris to a minimum. They did a great job on the repairs and kept me informed of what was happening throughout the process. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! Based on our experience using ATI, we wish we had used another restoration company. Their crew had very little to no experience. They cut out our subfloor using a hammer, didn't know how to set the depths on circular saws which caused them to cut our main water line under our house. They left the subfloor wide open and exposed which then let mice in our house that had gotten into our food, furniture and all of our kids beds. This was an huge issue for us as we have three kids and this could have been very dangerous the way they left our floors not secured. Over the course of 2 weeks of demo, there was no management or supervision present even after expressing our concerns with the crew sitting in their trucks for hours and all the issues stated above. My husband and I had to babysit the crew and even remove plumbing under the sink because they didn't know what they were doing. The worst part of this whole experience was them billing us for work that was not done and their square footage readings were way off as they were overcharging each room they did work in. This company will charge you for work that was not performed and we have proof of every measurement and job they did. We were present during this job every step of the way and they tried charging us for sanitizing our home after the mice got in and that job was never performed. Overall, this was the worst experience we have ever encountered with any company and cost us thousands of more dollars to put the house back together to fix their poorly performed work. read more

I can't say enough about the folks at ATI. There was a water leak in my walls and my insurance company (USAA), assigned ATI to complete the cleanup/demo/mold remediation and they will complete the rebuild as well. Every single employee that I've dealt with has been kind, professional, empathetic and knowledgeable. Vance, Anthony, Todd and Richie..just to name a few. Richie has been the lead on the demo/mold remediation and he is the epitome of fantastic customer service. His work ethic is beyond amazing and he kept me informed through the entire process. He also recognized (2) different safety issues that had nothing to do with this job. Because of this, he saved my family from what would have inevitably ended up an electrical fire. It's scary to think the contractors who remodeled this home (prior to my purchase), were oblivious or simply didn't care about the safety of others and just covered up issues that could literally kill people. After mediation with our insurance carrier things went down hill quickly. USAA, our insurance carrier did find that ATI, either inadvertantly, carelessly or accidentally had duplicate line items in the quote that made up more than 10% of the overall cost, and they were removed. After thay they refused to answer any other questions regarding the inconsistency in their pricing, even though I was the customer and the one paying. We also could not get Jason to understand what had been missing from the quote to get it corrected. And eventually it reached a point that he said ATI would fullfil the insurance obligations by putting the bathroom back to the way it was but refused the upgrades we requested five months back. He left us with our back against the wall and turned it over to his legal department. My husband and I were never rude, hostile, or angry with this company but once we got our insurance company involved it was impossible to have a conversation where Jason did not become hostile. This forced us to start from ground zero and start getting quotes. All in all, this company wants multi-million dollar jobs that the insurance company send their way, yet with that they have to take the small ones too, but they are not a priority. Which if how we fell through the cracks because they were bidding on 5M+ jobs while I was just trying to get an accurate quote on a 25k remodel, guess who won every time in the attention department. In addition to a bad job on the roof, they lost personal property, took 3 times longer than promised, sloppy workmanship and used the cheapest subcontractors. We hired ATI (American Technologies Inc) in Phoenix, AZ in December 2020 due to a small house fire inside walls around the chimney and ceiling and a single burned wire to one ceiling fan. No roof damage or smoke damage . Approx damage $25K to repair this area. They have not repaired the fireplace in almost 7 months. Meanwhile, we are displaced out of our home and our insurance company is threatening to not continue paying for our rental and rental furniture because we chose to use ATI who is extorting them for 3x more than other companies to "restore" our house and taking 3x as long as any other company. They literally have been busy charging for everything they can to the total of $116K to our insurance company but still have not fixed the one thing we hired them to do. We still have a hole in our house and can't live there. They have been busy charging for taking all our furniture out, cleaning and storing it and painting. The initial project manager didn't even care- I never even met him in 4 months. When I got angry, he hired a framer who did horrible shoddy work and didn't even fix the fireplace. We fired him and got another manager who had to completely rip out all the framework and start over again. Unfortunately, that was 3 months ago and the new project manager delayed in filing the permit, then submitted the wrong permit application which has caused us to wait 2 more months. We are still homeless 7 months later and fed up. This is literally their specialty- house restoration after a fire. It seemed they are more interested in charging our insurance company than fixing our house. The company who is supposed to be there to help you during an emergency has caused us much more pain and anguish than our the fire itself. I have many regrets... I wish I never hired them. Overall, my impression is that they attempted to get more money out of me and my insurance company, the work was sloppy, things were forgotten causing me to work from home more than I should have, and there is no accountability for the majority of people I interacted with. I had read previous reviews and figured I was in for a frustrating ride. They proved this to be correct. Unfortunately, ATI was contracted through my insurance and caused headaches for us. First, the project manager came out and deliberately asked about where my deductible was going. I stated 'the roofer' because it goes to the first work-item. When he finally got the estimate to the adjustor 1.25 weeks later, he included the deductible AND profits?! My adjustor had to ask for modifications as that is incorrect. After this was requested, the project manager spoke rudely with me pushing me to find another contractor so 'it can be done faster' as if it was an inconvenience for me. I indicated I was at work and unable to talk and he kept encouraging me and raising his voice interrupting me about finding someone else but still offering to do the work 2 weeks out. This call lasted a duration of 30 minutes when it should have been 5. During the time they fixed the house, they left goop all over good walls that we had to clean up. I watched one of the men drop our Wink connected hub ($100) and it is no longer usable. We are going to have to replace this. They omitted the *new* baseboards and just estimated removal and reattachment. THEN when the guys came out, they were not told about the baseboards at all and had to come out a second time. They ripped them off breaking several. Luckily we planned ahead and bought our own just-in-case since this was supposed to be in the original estimate and I was prepared based on reviews I read. The workers lied and stated it would take 2-3 hours to remove baseboards when their coordinator indicated it would take a max of 30 minutes. They showed up 1.5 hours late to do this work. Thankfully, one of the workers was honest and helped us out with some additional cracks while painting which was generous of him. read more

Eric did a really great job of getting to the job in under 30 min of my reporting a problem and getting the site secured amid the chaos that was ensuing. He appointed Ron to be my project manager and Ron did a really exceptional job of manuvering through all the hoops with the city to get the permits we needed. There were a few issues along the way, but nothing unusual for a project of this size and Ron did a great job of getting them taken care of quickly. When it was all said and done the building is looking great and I'm happy with the results. I would recommend Eric Wingham and Ron James at ATI for your building restoration. read more

ATI only gets this high because the crews have been pretty good. However the service from the rest of the company has been horrendous. We had a water leak in our kitchen floor back in the middle of July and it is now the middle of December and they are not done. The Superintendent covering our job doesn't answer phone calls. Seldom answers messages. Never follows through on promises. Literally takes months to answer simple questions. They have been told for a month that we are hosting the Christmas party for the local fire department. It is now 3 days away and I can't get anyone to commit to having the floor done. They won't even commit to starting. They ignore that question like I have never asked. I even left a message for a gentleman that is supposed to be the regional manager and he has never returned my message either. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. read more

We called Anthony Colon with ATI and he quickly provided us an estimate for the asbestos abatement and repairs to the property. Robin from ATI reacted immediately and sent out an inspector and a few laborers with huge fans and plastic tarps etc. They cleaned up the mess same day and had areas tarped off and fans going. 2 days later (thanksgiving day) they picked up everything and we were dry again. The main line to my commercial multi-tenant office building broke around 3am and flooded the lower level of my building for about 4 hours! I called ATI and they were on the scene within the hour assessing the damage and calling in additional crews to start extracting the water. In March of this year (2020) I realized I had a roof leak that had leaked down the walls in a front bedroom. A small part of the roof was repaired along with a good amount of interior drywall, insulation, trim and plus carpeting. Overall ATI was professional and on time. The workmanship was very good and the follow-up was good and the crews were on time everyday and done a good job with the daily and final clean-up. There were some hick-ups so that is why I gave only 4 stars. The primary issue was the Billing Dept for ATI which is in California and I am in AZ which caused some confusion over billing as items were done and the person in charge at the billing department was hard to contact and or slow in responses so therefor I had to rely on my claims adjuster at the insurance company to verify what ,if anything, that I needed to pay. The bills that I received did not verify if they were copies for me or invoices for me to pay or for the the insurance company. Overall, the repairs turned out very good and I would recommend them. read more

I had roof and interior damage to my roof, kitchen, and my sons room on August 3, 2016 from the rain storm micro burst over my old town Scottsdale home. I stated several times that I have to be back into my house by the end of September. It is now September 17 and I am still waiting to get my house repaired. I now have a printed copy of my repair estimate (they acted as the insurance adjustor for CSE Insurance Group) and know what the costs are according to their numbers. I will be requesting the insurance check and act as my own project manager to get the repairs done. My house damage according to them is only $16,000. I am just a small customer to them and do not warrant the same customer service as a larger more lucrative customer would (higher profit). I would not recommend using ATI as they do not communicate with you on a regular bases, do not share information that you should have a right to as you are the insured. read more

In late December we discovered that a pipe behind our kitchen wall had burst and had left severe damage. Our insurance sent us to a different company to clean up the kitchen and to dry the walls. After a week we were told that everything was clear and we were left to do the restoration ourselves. We had multiple friends of ours recommend ATI so we gave them a call and within the hour they were at our doorstep including the general manager, Jeff Moore. He introduced us to the team and familiarized us with what each person was there to do. They inspected the area and decided to test and right away they found a bunch of mold and moisture. We were in shock, had we not called ATI we would have just build over that mold and moisture and had to redo the kitchen again. They did such a great with the clean up and gave us a reasonable offer for the restoration so we hired them to do the job. Right away we were impressed with how punctual they were. From the first appointment for the bid to the completion of the job. They told us every day what time they were going to be there and they were never late. You can tell the employees at ATI take pride in their work. They assured us not to worry, they were going to do the job correctly and they really worked with our time frame. We were planning a wedding at the time and it was very important to us to have our house back in working order before our families got into town. They worked tirelessly to fix our broken kitchen. From removing the mold to reinstalling the cabinets and every step in between. ATI was there to explain in detail what was going to happen and they gave us a schedule so there were no surprises. We were told by our last plumber that we had bad pipes and they needed to be replaced or this would happen again. Naturally we decided to re-pipe the house to prevent this from happening again. We relied on ATI for recommendation for a plumber for the re-pipe and for a tile guy because one of our showers had to be taken apart for the re-pipe. At the beginning of this we were completely over our heads and through this ordeal ATI made it better. They are a company with integrity and they exceeded our expectations in all areas. They took our nightmare situation and turned it into the kitchen of our dreams. We could not have been more pleased. If it happened again we will call them in a heartbeat. I work at the Ronald McDonald House in Phoenix and ATI donated their expertise and manpower recently to renovate and rehab a room. They went above and beyond the call of duty and the renovation was done quickly and professionally. I will change my review depending on how things go. 1) it's been TWO months or more since my kitchen flooded. At first they were quick on getting the dryer fans in, but it seems down hill from there. 2) tore out kitchen cabinets, and threw out part of my counter top. Now they owe me counter tops, which they agreed to replace. 3) I was not informed I should keep the hardware to my cabinets, because that was not included? So now I only have 6 knobs for 12 units. Great. 4 ) I had to call numerous times before I got any kind of idea of Wtf was going on. They should be calling ME, letting ME KNOW what is going on. 5) was told 6 weeks ago the cabinets would be done in 2-4 weeks...still no word from them. 6) they came ringing my doorbell at 7am one time, never got a phone call saying they were coming over. 7) got passed off from my original adjuster, to another one that is even worse about calling clients with updates. Im beyond frustrated. My baby can't go in my kitchen, because its a wreck. We've been living out of boxes in the kitchen. Im losing my confidence in this company, and im close to going to someone else read more

Sorry to say but I will not ever use this company again nor will I ever recommend it to any one. I had several people ask me about ATI and I said to look for some one else. I had a little water damage in a bathroom which took them almost 4 months to complete. Never would call and update progress. Would always have to call them to see what was going on. All contractors that came out either did not have everything they needed and had to re-schedule which put us back on bottom of list or would break some thing and back to bottom of list we go. Painter came and painted part of bathroom which the whole room was to be painted. When he left I found that he dumped remaining paint across the street behind a bush at my neighbors house. Over 2 months into the job had a death in family and had people from out of town over and with only one bathroom to use they had to go elsewhere to clean up. Each one that came out did not clean up and left the place filthy. Like I said I will not use them again. read more
