The pro is that the job was completed, albeit 3 months after the promised completion date. The cons unfortunately outweigh the pro. I do not feel like they are accustomed to higher end home remodels. And I would not recommend them for that purpose. Ray subcontracted the job to another general contractor and was not very involved in the job so there was a definite breakdown in communication between us, him, the designer, and the work crew. He didn't listen to our plans and we were constantly stressed with ironing out problems that should not have come up, or that he should have dealt with directly. Most of the time it felt as if I was doing the GC job and just paying him in name only. The workmanship was sloppy and unfinished. We had to constantly tell them to finish what they started, fill obvious holes, fix shoddy tile work, etc.It was a headache that became more and more expensive as each supplemental work order was added just to finish the work. Ultimately after a disaster their work would be an improvement, but for a home remodel working with them was a disaster in and of itself.

Jason had his mate come out to do a second test after hours (8 to 9 pm) as the issue was aggravating by night. Alas, we have been trying to locate the mold problem in our walls for over two years (!!!) and Jason did it! Many tests were included in the quote, and the Envision3 team was definitely not stingy if more tests needed to run on top as it appeared. The wide array of measurement equipment was used, so they are very well equipped indeed. All in all, kudos! No photos as we haven't opened up the walls yet, but Jason has lined us up for the mitigation as well. Super. Highly recommended.

Gave us the validation we needed to vacate our apartment. Experienced nothing but promptness, professionalism & above & beyond courtesy. People who complain about Jason's attitude must be confusing "customer service" with a "doormat" & have likely never worked a day in customer service their entire life. You get out what you put in. I'd take those reviews with a grain of salt. Sounds like they most likely come from some entitled folk. A little bit of kindness goes a long way. I managed to catch Jason during an exceptionally busy week with work taking him all over the state. But he fit me in, never once acted like I was a burden, & was going the extra mile all while hobbling around on a torn meniscus on top of it! I'm a Yavapai County Master Gardener And a former Maricopa County Master Gardener. I knew the value of soil testing so I sent a sample to this lab. Best money I ever spent on my garden! They gave me very specific information about what my soil needed. I called and spoke to one of the chemists and she provided specific instructions on how to go about improving my soil. I did the treatment and let the Garden sit for six months as instructed. This season has been so remarkable! My tomato plants are loaded with fruit, the eggplant has fruit as well. I just harvested some wonderful garlic, too. The process was very easy and I received results in less than 3 days. Excellent & accurate service.

No one cared. I went completely out of my way to give them my business. I would not recommend this dishonest lab in any way. Lots of other labs who are transparent about their services to chose from.

We were in the midst of having a Solar array installed on our home. Sure, the Solar company explained in their contract that any post install issues with our roof would be covered. So as an added measure of insurance, we elected to have a pre & post installation inspection. Was that ever the best thing to do! Our home is 11 years old, and after the pre Solar install inspection, the Sunland Home Inspection team identified that we had 4 cracked tiles. Not bad, for an 11 year old tile roof. After the Solar array installation, Sunland came back out, and found a number of issues with broken tiles, that should've been repaired after the Solar install. With both a pre & post inspection report in hand, the Solar company came out and fixed everything proper. This saved us from a lot of potential issues ($$$) down the road, especially with the monsoon season in full swing. We also took the opportunity for them to assess our home insulation with their thermal imaging capabilities. They found several issues that should've been remedied when we took delivery of the home. Technology marches on, and they've got the equipment to help find these issues. All around, a great experience, and we would highly recommend Sunland Home Inspection.
