Alonzo took the time to thoroughly answer my questions and explain the structural issues contributing to the foundation movement. I was genuinely impressed with his technical knowledge and ability to clearly articulate the root causes of settlement, as well as the engineering principles behind the repair system being implemented. He demonstrated a strong understanding of load transfer, soil conditions, and long-term stabilization methods. It's refreshing to see someone who not only understands the installation process but can also confidently explain the "why" behind it. I had a great experience getting the free estimate from AFS. Due to a miscommunication, I missed the initial appointment. David S., the estimator, was very understanding. We talked on the phone. I had many questions. He took the time to answer them all. With rescheduling, the office staff were always friendly and accommodating. David S. was knowledgeable and informative, but never sales-y. After the inspection, he emailed a report with the measurement data, a diagram of the home indicating where repairs would be made and several options. No repeated calls or pressure to schedule work soon. The foundation stabilization and repair options included installing helical and push piers, underpinning, the poly filler, stem wall patches and repairs. There was a lot offered and the overall total was very costly. I do understand I'm not just paying for getting the piers installed, but all the knowledge, time and coordination to get there. After the initial freak-out at seeing the cost, I know I can discuss with David S. what parts are critical and how to reduce the total. There were various degrees, like a base package versus something that had more features. Some items AFS would be contracting out, so there's potential to save if I hired those contractors directly. I believe the specialty of AFS is installing piers. If you only need foundation patching, you might search for structural concrete specialists. As some reviewers noted, utilizing AFS will be much more expensive in those situations. Ask your contact. If you're a homeowner reading this, you're probably worried about some things you've seen in your home. The last thing you need is the added stress of someone trying to get you to sign off on a project. Of course, if it was urgent...fortunately, my home isn't in danger of falling down tomorrow. I'm grateful AFS provided a no-cost, no-pressure assessment. David S. provided the data for me to make an informed decision. He didn't use any and fear or pressure tactics. When hiring a contractor, I want one that I can have a collaborative conversation with. I can't speak to the installation itself, but if I decide to go with piers, poly fill or underpinning, I feel good reaching out to David S. to further discuss and make changes to the solution. I haven't decided on what to do with the foundation. There are more urgent home repairs. I also wanted to make sure I found root causes and to make sure those were addressed. Something I learned through this process: if you're seeing signs of foundation settlement, look for areas that are wet by pushing a stick around the perimeter of the house. Even if unused, sprinkler systems, irrigation or service lines can have water leaks that will cause the soil to expand and shrink. Those lines need to be repaired or if unused, capped off. I have unused sprinkler lines running right along the back of the house! Oh, after scheduling the appointment, AFS sent a book about foundation issues. It cost a bit to send. I support reducing waste. If you don't want the book, I wonder if you can ask them not to send and email a link instead! read more

$12k for about 10 man hours of work. 2 guys came for about 5 hours used some supplies that would have been of little cost and they didn't even fill all rooms that were agreed upon. In addition, the stitching they did was done poorly so that it could not later be covered. Also, it's hard to know if they actually leveled the slab. I need to hire a 3rd party I guess to prove it. read more

We had someone come out for give us an estimate for foundation repair at my moms house. They quoted us an OUTRAGEOUS price to do the work. It was even laughable, really. I ended up finding another company that was able to do the job for a third of the price. I wouldn't recommend them his company to anyone. Their online reviews speak for themselves. read more

Hector was great. He examined the entire exterior and Interior (crawl space) of the property and gave us line by line quotes for each item and what needed to be done. He was very thorough and explained everything to us incase we had no prior knowledge of foundations and materials. DO NOT USE_ FRAUDULENT COMPANY! The Sales folks come to your home and state they can perform the desired work and you will heart from the office to confirm the work and schedule an appointment. You pay them a 50% deposit and you do not hear from anyone. The morning the work is being performed you get a text from a worker who says they will be there in 30 minutes. When the worker arrives, he says they cannot do the work the Sales folks said they can perform and you call the office, and they say sorry we will issue you a refund and it will process that day. However, the refund never comes and when you follow-up with the office no one is ever available to speak to you and when you leave a message they do not return calls. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! read more

Was okay with sales person who I felt explained process well. Exterior foundation work was done as expected but was not thrilled with interior work. They drilled a few holes and inserted poly foam in some. In some places the poly foam actually filled in gaps near foundation walls while others did not. There are a few holes that were drilled that don't appear to have any poly foam in them or they were not finished off. The crew also gave me a quote for some additional work but they claimed they didn't have the necessary equipment to complete the additional work. Called for some resolution two days ago and had to call again today. Not responsive. Would not recommend. read more

Here is gonna be my least ChatGPT review of Arizona foundation solutions as I had a pleasure to deal with Josh Werner of this company. Josh came out on a freezing cold day and a full full body suit in order to go under my house, crawling through the crawlspace, which even plumbers who I hired to do a really big job. One of the plumber is absolutely refused to go underneath the place and they were getting paid a whole lot of money. So I'm gonna tell you I think there is a huge value and having Josh Werner work for Arizona foundation solutions because their star rating it was a three on yelp which usually is for me a company I'm not gonna do business with Well. I'll tell you this Josh Werner and his computer and all his information and literally his grit as a I will call him more than a salesman but a labor salesman who absolutely has vast knowledge in the area he's talking about because I read a book and I read a book on codes and I know all the codes now and I watched videos on YouTube like a lunatic. I totally trust this guy in what he came up with for me. Josh Warner gave me a price menu. He gave me a whole bunch of choices and options and things to fit either within my budget or within my desire list. I'm gonna have a quote from another company that actually had a much higher rating who I like their video presentations, but I'm gonna tell them that they're absolutely competing with Josh Werner and Arizona foundation solutions and I'm gonna try to get the best price out of both these companies and then figure out who's gonna do the best work. I'm gonna tell you if you get Josh Werner as a salesman. Make sure you make that appointment cause the guy knows what he's doing and he's gonna save you some money. I really like that they do everything with a permit and they don't even want the business if it's not permit so that was an amazing to me cause a lot of other companies said yeah we can do without a permit, just don't tell anybody so that's all I'll tell you five stars from Captain Money Crunch. read more

I needed some help and when I came across Arizona Foundation Solutions while scrolling my feed, I decided to click and call for a quote. I was immediately surprised when I receive a call from them to discuss what was my issue. After scheduling an onsite visit I received some information in the mail regarding foundation issues and fixes. It was very informative. I received a couple calls between the first one and the day of the assessment to coordinate the activities. I also appreciated that. Paul came onsite and walked the property with me to understand what I had been observing. We discussed several issues and then he went to work measuring the entire foundation of the home. It was very non-invasive and didn't take long. After the assessment was complete we reviewed the complete results in a report that was provided via email. Solutions to the problem were identified and a quote was provided at that time. I really appreciated the way Paul approached the whole situation. He valued my time and performed his work quickly. I had an issue with water pooling at the base of my house when it rains. Initially I was frustrated by the job, but Michael Thompson and Skyler Fish went out of their way to make things right. They definitely put the customer first and did everything they could to make sure I was satisfied. So relieved that I called Arizona Foundation Services to assess a major crack running through the middle of my front porch. The initial company I had come out didn't blink for a second before giving me a high dollar quote and assuring me they could 'fix it right up.' But Frank, from A.F.S. just as quickly broke the news to me that he too could fix it up, but due to the structural defects of the area, the porch would almost definitely crack all over again in about five+ years. He invested a few more minutes to help us consider our other options and then left us with a kind handshake and I grateful feeling that a company like A.F.S. employs associates that are knowledgeable and know that doing the right thing is the only way to do good business. We had trouble with other foundation companies when trying to get a licensed structural engineer to inspect a foundation for the home we were purchasing. The first company just sent a person to give us a sales quote after charging us $200 and nothing in writing. Arizona Foundation Solutions were able to come out on short notice and outline their services in an email, which the other company refused to do. Their inspection was thorough and identified structural details that were missed on the general home inspection. For anyone who is looking for a foundation inspection, I would make sure to a.) specify that you want a certified structural engineer and b.) make sure you get the services you pay for outlined in writing somewhere. read more

My wife and I were selling our house and, during the inspection period, the home inspector noted a crack in the hall floor and a slight slope in one of the bedrooms. This had been disclosed to the buyers beforehand and the inspector advised the buyers that it appeared to be normal settling/cosmetic. The buyers wanted a second opinion, so they scheduled an appointment with Arizona Foundation Solutions (AFS) to determine if there were in fact any indications the foundation was compromised. The AFS Tempe office contacted me advising they had a cancellation and would be sending an "inspector" to our home. The "inspector" arrived and the first thing he told us was that he was there to estimate the cost of repairs - before even "inspecting" the home - to which I informed him we were not looking for an estimate of repairs; we were looking for an expert to tell us if the foundation was compromised. Things got more and more fishy as the "inspector" conducted his "inspection" of the house - lots of doublespeak, inconsistencies, doom-language, etc. - so I began asking questions regarding his training, credentials, and expertise in the field. The "inspector" (who's actual title is "Design Specialist") proceeded to inform me that he was a barista (or something) until two years ago, had no credentialing whatsoever, and his training consisted of a "two-week class" and "shadowing" another experienced DS for a short period. This was again troubling as we had been told we would be getting an "expert" to tell us if the foundation was compromised. I kept asking if the foundation was compromised and former-barista continued to didge the question and, at one point, admitted he could not determine if the foundation was compromised. I was stunned by the who experience but decided to not to jump to any conclusions and wait for the report. The report arrived via email about an hour after former-barista left the property - a report that had NOT been reviewed by a licensed structural engineer - and quoted us over $29k for the repairs. But not to worry, out of the goodness of their heart, AFS would be able to build the cost of the repairs into our escrow... such sweethearts. I sent an email to AFS with questions and received a scripted response stating that the project WOULD be submitted to a third-party group of structural engineers to "review" and sign-off which... means AFS had quoted a $29k job without having a single credentialed expert looking at the report. My BS meter still in the red, I finally asked the most important question which was if the "data" they used was based in anyway on Arizona building code or even industry standards. This is when the responses abruptly stopped. After jumping through fire, I was somehow able to hire a licensed structural engineer to come out to the house the next day to do a full inspection of the property (interior & exterior). The engineer was given the AFS report and conducted his own inspection of the home which, based on his findings, showed no indication of a compromised foundation... which, incidentally, happened to line-up with the home inspector's observations. I also asked the engineer about the "data" use by AFS and he advised that he had never heard of their formulas or criterium as it was not in AZ building code nor was it a common way to determine the soundness of a foundation. The engineer also said that, because the home was built in the 70s, some of the repairs AFS quoted weren't even possible. I'm sure AFS will respond to this review the same way they respond to every review with, "We're sorry you had such a bad experience...." Then try to undermine it by saying there's "a grain of truth" to my story or they "can't control the soil" or iterate their "data" (which isn't based on code or industry norms). Please know there are other good options in the Valley -- I spoke to two during this process -- I would recommend before you ever consider using AFS. In fact, you'd be better off risking your house collapsing into a pile of rubble before you have these scam artists step foot onto your property. read more

I canceled a project after I found a better and less expensive solution. In good faith i signed a contract without being fully presented the terms for termination. After recieving the contract and reading it from my email several days later. I saw i was libel for 25 % of the total after cancelling the contract I thought i was entitled to a partial refund as i put 50 percent down. I now have been told by the office tgat I forfeited the entire deposit as I'd didn't cancel the project within a three day window. To me these important terms should have been mentioned at the POS. I feel I am owed at least 50% of my deposit. I would make sure you ask for a full review if you do business with this company in the future. read more

The level of our home's floor is better than it was. However, it took 9+ months for the work to finally be done. They let the first permit lapse, got a 2nd permit and did the work, but never filed needed paperwork with the county for final inspection. We are now in code violation because Arizona Foundation Solutions has yet to complete the permit process. BEWARE! You cannot trust them to do all the work, not just under the house but in the office making sure all issues have been taken care of. Don't believe their assurances all we be taken care of. They finished the foundation work 11 months ago, but have yet to complete the entire process. read more

Buyer beware! We had the engineer come out and provide us with a very informative report; followed up by sales to discuss and sell their system. Because of the signing discount we moved forward providing a sizable deposit. We made a decision to attack the root cause which was our landscaping then watch and make a decision regarding their system. Since May we have been trying to cancel and refund our $1,000. deposit! Several phone calls later we started to paper trail our requests via email. Everybody is "looking into it" and will send to accounting etc. For such a large supposedly successfully company I don't see what the problem is. Are they having financial trouble? A review is my attempt after several months to get some action from the company. This is unacceptably poor service! 9-2 Update Had a conversation with a manager: although we verbally cancelled, the office manager verbally said she would follow up with accounting to refund our deposit. Several emails in which everybody said yeah we'll get this taken care of. Please send us a written request and we'll get it taken care of. Well, when you sign the contract there is a three day cancellation period and even though we cancelled verbally and it was accepted it was not honored. We have received no goods or services from this company. They refuse to stand by what their employee said and further refuse to refund our 1,000.00 Again buyer beware!!! 9-10-20 response to Az Foundations A: your salesman did not discuss any cancellation policies with us and B: I spoke with him the following day and his cell phone. Maybe those calls should be recorded as well. After MONTHS of emails of sending it to accounting to process; nothing. Not one thing was scheduled with us. When they called to schedule, we reiterated our cancellation. I understand contracts; I also understand they can be amended. Unfortunately we signed without realizing or being advised of the cancellation policy and cancelled verbally and didn't send it in writing during that 3 day window. This company This company performed foundation repair work on my residence in 2014 and again in 2021. The work done has largely failed and foundation problems persist. They were paid $50,000 in 2014 and $50, 000 in 2021. Prior to purchasing the home, I spoke with Victor Rivera, at the company and asked if all the necessary work had been done and should I expect additional problems. He said everything was good. The work came with a warranty and I was assured the house was "rock solid". Within a couple of months of purchase I requested a meeting with the company and Victor came out and reviewed a report indicating that the foundation was stable. He just wanted to sell me $31000 of poly for the floor. We were noting issues under the floor and separation of the counter top and wall. He told me these were not serious problems. The problems have continued and have gotten much worse. I have asked for records of all the work done and only yesterday received them the 2021 records after a month. I still do not have the 2014 records. It took 2 months of phone calls to the company before I met with a representative, Cam Altree, the only employee with integrity. He listened and took my concerns seriously. He checked back to see if I was satisfied and when I told him i was not, he kept trying to help. Tom Cox is the guy that was assigned to my concerns. He takes days to answer texts and is impossible to get on the phone. He has confused me with other clients and even thinks I am Someone named Terry (I am Barbara). He tells me that info will be coming in a few days...but it does not. Cam got me the records for the 2021 work...again the guy with integrity. We paid $490,000 for this house and never would have bought it if we knew that Arizona Foundation Solutions Warranty is a Sham. Does Bob Brown even exist? They obviously do not care about past customers, unless they think they can get more money. I would not give this unscrupulous company another nickel. read more

I had this company out for an estimate a few years ago and then again recently since I am now really ready (funded) to do the job. I was really happy with the estimating process (was free) a few years ago; the salesperson/estimator was very professional, thorough, took pictures/measurements, and responded with a reasonably complete looking proposal. I felt trust because he had spent some time really looking at the issue. Fast forward to now. A different salesperson/estimator came out to give me a (free) estimate; the initial email said that the average time is 90 minutes. The salesperson who came this time spent about 5 minutes barely looking at my home and suggested that I pay $500ish for an engineering analysis so that I could get an accurate quote. Anyway, I did get a new proposal, which looked like a WAG; it was missing items that were in the original quote and had a lot of "bid required" as opposed to actual estimate. I want to move forward and repair the issue but I can't really see a way forward with what was provided to me. I've had a lot of home remodeling done on my home, but this is an odd scenario. Maybe the person that came out recently was either too busy or new (so maybe not enough knowledge?). I've been reading the reviews and I suspect that the people who are giving reasonably good reviews probably had a decent person out to do their initial estimate and the people who are giving low reviews probably had someone like the recent guy that came out (who just seemed to want to sell engineering services; maybe he didn't really understand the job?). It seems like both my experiences are both reflected in the reviews. Just a note because I haven't had any work done so no actual experience, the reviews show a lot of disconnect in the different departments (making even otherwise satisfied customers comment on getting somewhat of a run-around). read more

How to make thousands off of evaluating peoples foundation without a real solution. *Send smooth talking sales men "who have seen it all" or say they have... *Avoid pinpointing any one issue (make it seem like everything can be one) *Use scare tactics We were dupped! Arizona Foundation Solutions uses scare tactics by sending out their sales team to "evaluate" your foundation issue. However, the person they send doesn't actually fix, treat, or do anything more then scare you into paying upfront to schedule with another person (who also is not an engineer) to take measurements and provide an expansive book to convince you to do their most expensive plan to fix your foundation. Because if you don't do this with them, you will have big issues! So, thats what happened my husband called Arizona Foundation Solutions. They schedule with us a week and a half later, to come out and look at the crack that had come from a hot water leak we fixed in our slab floor. Well, of course this "salesman" took a look around the perimeter of the house and found other major issues! He convinced us to pay 50% $242.50 upfront (non-refundable!) to schedule again and get measurements done so they could identify the situation. Well, luckily we smartened up, before our next visit where we were to pay another $250 (mind you before we got anything in hand or any answers at all!) we did research. We found a foundation guy that has been doing this for years, identifies, and does the work most times himself. But I want to point out how important it is to have an expert who is familiar with the work themselves because they do it. Well guess what, he took measurements ON THE SPOT and found that we were in no imminent danger, and to monitor a few spots. We're going to fix the floor crack with him to ensure our new floors lay properly and doesn't continue to spread (for a very small cost). But ultimately he was truthful, knowledgeable, and was able to give me immediate answers, without scaring me for money. It cost me nothing to diagnose it. Did you hear that?!? It was FREE!!! In fact he said I would have to do this anyway to determine the issue. What? Yes! Finally! Why couldn't Arizona Foundation Solutions do that? He gave us so much great (real) knowledge and answers for free! and it means we can move forward with the other work we planned on doing to the house. If you want to throw your money away for no answers then contact them. You will be sure to have a salesman come to your house and act like it's October 31st. You will get the scare of a lifetime. Arizona Foundation Solutions if you want to prove you are not an untrustworthy company. Why would you need a non-fundable deposit to even get someone out to take measurements?? They never follow up and when they do their response is laughable. They were referred by family who are quite embarrassed by recommendation. We discovered that our house was cracking in half and one side falling down the hill. This was almost a year and a half ago now. After calling around I was able to get AFS to come out to our house. Brian Guthrie has been our contact person and he has been excellent, really outstanding throughout our entire ordeal. Initially I thought he was solely the sales rep but he has taken so much more responsibility and has been essentially an acting manager for us coordinating the various services. He is the only person on the business side of things who cared and went above and beyond. We had to get radon tubes put in because the foundation was cracked and letting radon in through our slab foundation. That department was ok. One of the two guys who came out was really good- fyi had to fix what the first guy thought he did right. Then the foundation piers got put in. That team was excellent, experienced and efficient. Also did a great job with concrete work. Then the poly and crack stitching people came in. There was a female contractor who lead this (Sandra or Sally?) who was outstanding in her knowledge and technique and work ethic. Then moisture barrier people came in to waterproof our crawl space. This all took months of coordination. Getting into the downside- so the different divisions of the company seem to work separately and get paid separately without knowledge of or really caring about the other services. It has been sometimes impossible to reach anyone at the main line listed even if you go through the phone chain. The accounting person called me to ask for the balance payment on the radon tubes when their electrician hadn't even come out yet to install outdoor outlets to hook up the tubes. She said he was contracted out and they had to get him to drive down from Phoenix. No scheduled date yet but she wanted the remainder of the balance because THEIR part was done and got very snarky and rude when I told her I would pay the entire balance the minute their outsourced electrician came out and hooked it up and the job was actually complete. Then another time they messed up the accounting and wanted me to pay for ventilation tubes that hadn't even been installed yet and wouldn't look into the itemized order to correct. Brian called them and explained and he finally got them to correct it. Overall I think each individual service did a good job but they need to improve their accounting and internal coordination/communication. read more

My initial/previous review for AZ Foundation Solutions was based on the sales process. I have now had my foundation completed and wanted to provide you with that review. The guy that came out was very nice and professional. Great at communicating and did what his job was written down to be. Here is the issue: I paid what I considered a ton of money and what I got in return was nowhere to what was expected or sold on for the vision. I have more cracks because of their work, I have horrible looking concerts fixes in the backyard. When I look at the spots I feel angry, upset and scammed. I was advised during the sales process that it has never happened where new crack would occur. Guess what. I have so many new cracks that will result in major issues and we are just two weeks out from the service. I requested the work as we are planning to sell the home soon and wanted to know the conditions of the foundation to disclose to potential buyers and to have work warrantied. What I got in return is a more unpleasant look for the cracks. The fixes in the backyard now have additional cracks. It looks worse than the open crack. In my garage, they fixed the main crack but not the secondary so it looks half done. Why pay so much for only half looking results. Plus I have new cracks!!! Potential buyers are going to look at this and wonder who fixed this and why they did it cheaply as that is how it looks. This was repeatedly told during the sales process of us trying to sale the house and wanting to improve it for potential buyers. I tried to take the high road by reaching out for help and to vent my frustration in a calm manner. The salesman is the only person taking calls and he has said many people will call and correct but here we are weeks later... no follow up and more cracks. They spend all their money on sales process then leave you without customers service after. empty promises is what I got. The key is that the people were nice but the results are not what is expected and feel scammed. I don't think anyone will be happy with this result. I know I'm not, my wife isn't and my friends feel like I got taken and left with more issues. All my hard earned money wasted to have a crappy looking patio area and more cracks in the garage and patio. Thanks for taking my money and making things look worse and adding to my cracks. After they called to reschedule on a Friday, they sent a follow up email to confirm my original appointment the next Monday. I responded to ask if anything had changed, and they told me that they still couldn't hold my original appointment. If you can't make the appointment and I told you to cancel the appointment days before, why in the hell are you still emailing me? They had someone call me back after I told them how horrible they are at communication, but no one could be so bothered as to honor my original appointment. The manager who called me back said they were "double booked," but they could not explain why it took them two weeks to realize this. I told them that they can get me an appointment at any time on the original date, or that they shouldn't bother contacting me again. Guess what? They had someone else call me, and when I called them back, I got a big sales pitch and an explanation that it's 7 hours of drive time to get to my home. They had the address from the first call, so that doesn't mean anything to me. The feeling that I got was that they didn't want to put in the effort that they had already promised for the inspection without getting money out of me first. If they had stated that they wouldn't do a free inspection the first time I called them, this wouldn't be an issue. If you don't want to do a free inspection, don't make an appointment for one. If this is how they treat prospective customers, I'd hate to see how they treat everyone else. I'd recommend finding someone who can hold an appointment and who realizes that their customers' time is valuable and not to be wasted. read more

They came out to look at our work quickly. The estimator was a good guy, but our repairs needed more than their services. He suggested 2 other names that may be able to help. Do not, do not use this company. They are negligent, unprofessional, and unethical. They came to my home in October to repair the foundation in a few areas. While they were working, the servicemen cut the irrigation timer line. The outer coating is gray, but the inner wires all have brightly colored plastic coatings. It is very easy to see the damaged line. The techs covered up the damaged area, didn't say a word to me, and left. Later that day when I turned the sprinkler system back on, nothing happened. After looking around I realized that they had likely caused damage. I called the company and explained what was happening. My salesman Bryan emailed the next day and said that they were aware of the problem and that I would be taken care of. The winter lawn was only a couple of weeks old and would not survive without the sprinkler system being repair. I was able to get a tech out who very quickly found and fixed the problem. The next week, no one called or followed up. When I called and repeated the story, there was no indication that things were being taken care of. I spoke with my salesman Bryan and expressed my frustration. A bit more time passed and then I was contacted by Tom, the Operations Manager. He told me that he would be taking care of me from now on. After some back and forth (and more waiting), Tome told me that he was authorized to give me $100 for my trouble. By now I am angry. I have been given the run around and offered about half of the $193 repair bill. Not to mention that I had to get the lawn reseeded and spend several weeks running the sprinkler many times a day because of the interruption. I told Tom that I expected Arizona Foundation Solutions to stand behind their work and take responsibility for the damage that their servicemen had caused and covered up. That is outright negligence. That is the last I heard from anyone at Arizona Foundation Solutions. I have filed an ROC complaint and might someday receive the money that this company owes me. I hope that you will pick a different vendor for your foundation needs and save yourself the aggravation. read more

Not feeling good about hiring this firm. I contacted the City and was told that no inspection was scheduled, so I had to schedule this in order to clear the permit. Very costly to do these repairs. They will create a sense of urgency but a good painter probably would have been a better use of my money for this job. But, AFS has already taken my money. We had helical piers installed a few years ago, it took forever to get the project started, when it was finally finished the guy that set the whole thing up contacted me for the deposit I gave him months prior that had cleared already. They never followed up like they said they would. I have no idea how Rosie on the House could suggest them. I am extremely disappointed with Arizona Foundation Solutions (AFS) professionalism, ethics, and business practices. I am a 77 yrs. old woman, in poor health, who contacted this company to analyze my foundation. I felt pressured and bullied by the salesperson into paying for a manometer survey for the property. They claimed the results indicated a need for an $18,784 estimate of work to be done. Their own survey concluded that my house passed Foundation Performance Association (FPA) consensus standards, however they claimed my house required more work and insisted that I sign their contract immediately and pay 25% deposit of $4692.00, which I did, under pressure. After sharing my concerns with friends and professionals, I was urged to get a 2nd opinion and had 2 experts from different engineering companies, who performed similar a separate manometer survey. Both separately concluded the work was NOT necessary! I contacted AFS immediately. They refused to return my deposit. I contacted AZ Attorney General's office who reviewed my case. They apparently have had complaints about this company before. Wish I had known that beforehand. I believe I have been a victim of elder abuse and warn others to steer clear of this unprofessional company. Finally, more than a year later, after paying, AFS returned only one half of my deposit, without doing any repair work on my house. I have been taken advantage of and am expecting that once the AZ Attorney General's investigation is completed, Arizona Foundation Solution will be required to return my remaining deposit. I urge you to get several opinions from reputable companies prior to signing anything and only companies that treat all customers, no matter of age, fairly, honestly and with respect. read more

Expensive estimate process. A long delay in getting the stem wall repair scheduled, and a 4 month delay in getting gutter install scheduled. One week before the gutters were supposed to be installed, they called to cancel because their one gutter installer quit. They did let me know, rather than just not showing. read more

***STAY AWAY*** They should remove the word "Solutions" from their name. That is far from what they provide. I started the process with Arizona Foundation "solutions" back in May of 2021 to fix a retaining wall/foundation. After meeting with the sales person they did let me know that they can proceed with engineering the "solution". After about 30 days I met with the sales person again so he could present the "solution" and take a deposit. I agreed to the option they offered and they stated I would be on the calendar to be completed before December 2021. During the permitting process there were items that came up that were needed from me directly by the county. These items were provided. After these items were provided I had not been contacted by anyone at the company to schedule the repair. At at the same time I was told by the county that Arizona Foundation "Solutions" was needing more engineering from me to complete the job. Obviously this was concerning as I should have heard about this directly from the company I was spending ten's of thousands of dollars with. However it was crickets. After reaching out to the sales person by call, text, email with no response before the holidays, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited until after the holidays and tried again with no avail. I then was put in contact with the "Area Sales Manager" whom after a week reviewed everything and let me now that the project they had in their hands for 7-8 months now was unfortunately out of scope for their company to complete and said they would be refunding me my deposit. I questioned how was this job reviewed and drawn out by an engineer and yet its somehow not able to be completed by them? Another week went by and the same manager contacting me and let me know that the owner reviewed and said they would solve this and get the job completed. I mistrustfully agreed for them to continue. After waiting another 2 weeks with no communication, I reached back out only to find out they were wrong and actually could not come up with a "solution" and would be refunding me my deposit (again). I waited another 2 weeks for my check to come in the mail and then called again to now find out they sent the check to a wrong address and would need to cancel that check and send out another. I asked for them overnight the check for my inconvenience and the refused to as this was an "additional cost that had to be approved". Throughout the most recent 2 months I tried to get the owners (Bob Brown) attention by phone/email to discuss my entire situation and was told he was in "meetings" 10/10 times I called. I was FINALLY able to get him to call back once I called every hour on the hour same day. As I expressed to the owner, the incompetency and ignorance starts at the top at his company. Not only was the communication poor at best during my dealings, the fact that an apologize nor any remorse was expressed on how my customer service experience was. A few key items to any contracting/construction work is setting expectations, communication, and follow through. NONE of which was provided by Arizona Foundation "Solutions". This type of work is extremely costly and any company completing it should be handling their customers with at least some respect while they spend a price of a new car or part of a college tuition on. read more
