We had a severe fire damage to an apartment last year, Belfor was quick to respond to our needs, over the next 10 months, they worked with us closely to restore the property to rent-ready condition. Our experience is very positive throughout, I'd like to shout out the Mr Steve Gress at Belfor, he really cares about the finished product and his customer. There were a few minor things after the property was restored that need to be corrected. Since we didn't find out the issues until property was occupied by tenants months later, Belfor still worked with us and went out to address the issue. Belfor was first on the scene to assess my issues with my home. I had fire damage. It seemed like forever because of the intensity. But Belfor completed the job. Yes we had a few issues and concerns,but in the end, it all came out well. Had a kitchen fire and Belfor came to do restoration. Everything was packed and transported to a warehouse. I was not told everything in my kitchen would be thrown away, otherwise I would have saved some of my more important things. I did not get all my possessions back and got things NOT mine. I called to return not my things but never got mine. I am missing China I cannot replace. Things that were my grandmothers I cannot replace. A whole basket of Bernie babies I was saving for my great granddaughter. Have called several times with no response. They don't care, it's not their possessions. They are supposed to be the best ??? What can I say about the nightmare I had to not only endure thanks to the massive flood in my apartment but the aftercare provided by Belfour. It took approximately 10 days for my wife and I to be able to move back into our apartment. In the meantime I got the pleasure of being forced to stay in hotels all the while sick with both Covid and double pneumonia. Upon being able to move back home, I came to find out that not only did the workmen scratch my dresser, bed, walls and doors but they left my front door open for a week and a half! All I received from them via the property manager was a "we are sorry". My firearms, safe, and all brand new TV's and furniture could have been stolen. The fact they weren't is a miracle. Instead of doing they right thing and paying for my furniture to be fixed they seemed to deny anything happened when my insurance company contacted them. Oh and I don't think they actually even cleaned my carpet just dried it. Be very wary when dealing with these people. read more

This company is on USAA's list of contractors. We had a roof leak last August and back patio damages. This company has revised their estimates 2-3 times in their favor thousands of dollars. they are deceitful and lie about the work being done to the insurance co. They don't explain anything on the estimates of what you are actually paying for and they double dip y rewording certain things. We feel they are price gougers and wouldn't recommend them to be used for any work. They don't clean up properly, as our pug had a drywall screw in her mouth, they left old drywall tape in our yard in our rocks that we had to hand pick out. Very unprofessional. read more

Our home owners insurance contracted with this company after a car went through our block wall. It has been nearly 6 months and the repair still is not complete. Communication with them has been terrible, they continue to make false promises about schedule and completion date. So frustrating!! Avoid them if you can! read more

These guys did a great job at our Assisted Living Home. We had a kitchen flood due to the RO system under the sink and they were onsite in less than an hour to help! They also helped coordinate a plumber out the same day to help fix the leak. Everyone was very professional and our staff was impressed at how efficient they were. My entire home went through a flood on July 2022 & our insurance contracted this company. This company was dishonest, unreliable, and not trustworthy. We had a break in on Oct 2022 when one of the tiles guys left our home unsecured, he had left our back door open and we got things stolen from our back yard and inside our home. This tile guy also was seen going though our mail. We had our tile redone 4 times total. We moved back in on Nov 28, 2022, went through a demolition again all while living in the home, dust everywhere. No working toilet or shower when the house was "ready for move in". Our home was left unsecured many many times. When the break in happened, we reported it to our PM right away & we were told "don't worry we will take car of it & replace the missing items". Our mistake was that we trusted these people. Instead of trusting them we should've file a police report, we should've taken pictures and more pictures from all their mistakes, should've documented more. It is now 5/2023 and we never heard back from belfor again. We never signed anything for project completion & they didn't inform us that they were done with our home. There is things that are already breaking, the tile has cracks, stuff were left unfinished. Don't trust Belfor or their spoken promises. Keep documentation of everything & try to get everything on text/email. We learned our mistake. read more

I had a flood in my home due to a broken water heater. I called my insurance and they sent out Belfor Property Restoration. They arrived the same day and immediately took charge. Cat and her crew immediately got to work and did an amazing job all the while assuring me that they had everything under control. This company was extraordinary. They set up their dehumidifiers, came back and removed all drywall that was water damaged and totally cleaned the space in both closets. Once the roof was replaced, they came back and replaced all the drywall, sealed and repainted both closets. They were very skilled and the closets look brand new. I want to thank them for their professionalism as well. Sean whose kindness during this challenge diffused my frustration with the length of time it was taking to finish the restoration explaining the roof had to be completed or we would have to start all over. He was right, it rained the following week later and the plastic covering the master closet ceiling was full of water. This company and it's customer service are top notch. If we could rate these people a -10, we would. Do NOT use! We recently experienced water damage to three of our rooms from a failed water heater. The original estimate written by Ben Rodriguez, we felt was thorough and we trusted that our questions would continue to be answered as we proceeded with scheduling the repairs. Upon meeting with Sean Winder, he is about as unprofessional as they come. He has refused to modify our estimate to reflect the services actually performed thus far by Belfor and had the audacity to submit a supplement to our insurance company for work NOT performed. It has been well over 8 days since I wrote to him with ZERO communication back. Lucky for us, all of the insurance monies are mailed to my home directly and these people won't see a dime until they rectify our costs reflecting the accuracy of what has been repaired. After we paid for a 40K new roof, a year later we are still having leaking problems and Belfor management will do nothing about it. Aaron Grace and Gary Duff have ignored all my many calls and pleas to have our home looked at. Sadly we are paying thousands out of our own pocket for the work.
