Caution: Zero Stars! This company is highly unrecommended!! I contacted the company 9/5/14 to…read moreprovide service for my condo (water leak coming from neighbor's condo). I was quoted $250 for service call to clean up water. I was then told it would be an additional $400 to finish the job, expected to be finished on 9/8/14. On 9/8, drying equipment was removed, the area was left unfinished, & baseboards were discarded without my approval. Unnecessary work was started (removed sheet rock), and when I contacted to follow up, I was told that he could get my insurance to cover the cost to "finish" the area. When I expressed my disappointment that I already paid to have the area finished & requested reimbursement of my discarded baseboards, Michael responded, "fxxk you, you bxxch, you stupid cxnt!" I immediately ended the call without further discussion and notified the BBB. In my opinion, this company "over responded" in attempt to drive up the cost to get me to file a claim with my insurance. I also believe Michael provided false information, as I specifically asked if the additional $400 would cover to reset the carpet. Without a doubt, Michael was very unprofessional & disrespectful. The work he performed will cost me more to fix than the damage from the water!

We called Michael at RDC and he was very nice and helpful even though it was after 10pm! He was out at our home first thing the next morning. I found him knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He did a wonderful job explaining what he was doing, why, and what this should accomplish. I have been beyond pleased with our experience and I would recommend him to anyone.

I hired this company based on my realtor's recommendation. I wish I had read the reviews prior to…read morehiring them. They do not like small jobs (minimum job cost $500) and will try to upsell the bigger job more than once. Unfortunately, the grout was more mismatched than discussed. (The house is 1.5 years old and I didn't need the entire bathroom floor cleaned and resealed--just one cracked tile and 2 feet of linear grout). I was NEVER informed that the grout would be ALMOND color next to light gray. What was discussed was that they had a close, but not EXACT match. Technician ASSURED me this was an "easy 15 minute fix" and he would make it right. The manager RE-PROPOSED the bigger, more expensive job ONCE AGAIN. Sad that this company would rather have a negative customer review than make things right, as was promised by their worker.

They did fine on the caulking although I did have to ask the guy to redo it because initially it didn't look good. Second time around was much better. The real problem was with the grout cleaning. I have posted before and after photos. Can you tell which ones are before and which are after? Me neither. Apparently the steam cleaning method they use is not effective on all types of grout. So why did they even take the job? If they couldn't tell beforehand that it wouldn't be effective, why didn't the guy stop after he had started and let me know it wasn't working? Then after I called up the estimator to let him know the cleaning wasn't effective, he just blew me off and said well you can't expect it to look new. This company is unprofessional and takes no pride in their work. Do not hire them under any circumstances, they are basically a scam.

I called roto rotter originally to fix the leak underneath my tub in the master bathroom. The…read moreoriginal owner of the house did not pipe it up correctly and when I went to replace the drain the piping broke. I called them and they sent someone out the next day. The person that was sent looked at and tried to fix the issue but did not have the right tools. So he indicated that they would send someone else out. Two days later the next technician came out and indicated that I needed some specialty parts ordered and that he would order the parts and install them on his next visit. During the next visit two new technicians came out and indicated that a specialty part was needed. So I told them thats what the last technician indicated as well and to check to see if the parts were ordered. Turns out the parts were not ordered. So the two new technicians ordered the new part and when it arrived the day later they went to install it. This fixed a majority of the leaks but there was a smaller leak an the part that was not replaced. So i called and they sent another technician out (5 total different technicians). He indicated that it was not leaking from the parts that were replaced and that would not be covered by the exiting quote. I said this was ok and that I wanted to have the smaller leak fixed regardless since my expectation is that there are 0 leaks under my house. He told me that the 2 technicians that installed the fix for the major leak would be sent out to assess the situation. Well I got a call from the manager this morning that they would not be fixing the smaller leak and that the technicians would not be coming to my house anymore to fix additional leaks. Additionally, the manager indicated that I did not want to pay to have the leaks addressed which is a straight up lie. They told me "Go look somewhere else to get your leak addressed". So now I am out 900 and still have a leak in my crawl space under my tub and a company that does not want to fix the issue I called about. This all took place over two weeks and has been extremely frustrating. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR ISSUES RESOLVED!
