I finally found these guys on here, and they came to take a look. They got on the roof, and found the issue, almost immediately. They explained to me that over time, nails that are in the roof, tend to start popping out, and that lets water through. They hammered all the nails back down, and also caulked around the second floor bathroom window, just in case it was coming from there. Needless to say, not a drop to be seen, and the work was done about a year ago. Also the cost was a fraction, of what I thought it might be. I highly recommend them. Good work at an honest price. (And I like to see and have the problem explained to me, and they did that.) The only reason I gave them 4 stars, is that I asked for a quote, on some additional services, and they were a bit delayed on getting back to me...

In September, I hired them to tack shingles down on my roof. There was poor communication about when the work would be done. When the agreed upon day came, they did not show up. I called and emailed to confirm and Claudio said that the guys would be there at 9. It was already 10:30am at that point. I had to go to work and clearly requested via email that they not complete any work unless I was at home- I did not receive a response to this email and called to follow up. After hours of no communication, I was told that they would come another day. I was already frustrated at this point, but needed the work done. Finally, the day came and when Claudio showed up, he was by himself. I asked if he was going to complete the work by himself because the roof is pretty large. He told me that the guys had already come to do it on the first day (where I had to contact them and was told they'd be there at 9am). He was there for my payment. He insisted they came that day, but it isn't true. I was there myself and I think I would've known if someone was on my roof. Furthermore, even when I left to go to work, I have cameras on every side of the house. I was watching the surveillance and no one showed up. I paid him, because I don't believe in cheating people out of earned money, but after my insurance company came back to inspect them roof, it is clear that no work was done. Or was not done to completion (if I'm being generous). Stay away from this company. I've contacted them to have them come back and finish (or start) the work and have been met with voicemails and unanswered emails. I will be contacting the BBB, because this is unacceptable.

Ed Saccomanno, Owner of Living Water Home Improvement, did, in fact, return to our home to address two (short) lengths of vinyl siding that had come loose over the past several years. We had some difficulty having this done earlier due to scheduling issues. Ed, as indicated earlier, is a man of his word, and, using his 30 foot ladder, snapped into place, two short lengths of siding that had become detached from the adjacent lengths. These two pieces of siding are located just beneath the roof line of our home on either side, much too high for me as the home owner, to safely address. Again, Living Water Home Improvement furnished and installed all new vinyl siding on our home including, cladding, where needed, shutters, vents, architectural details, gutters and downspouts. Ed worked closely with us when we were given the opportunity to choose siding and trim details including various styles, finishes, and colors. Although our project was completed several years ago, Ed and Living Water are highly recommended should your home require his services.

I remembered this company as it advertised in our local West Milford newspaper. I called him about 11 a.m., and he was there with 2 employees within an hour. Again, it was a Saturday in February! A 4' X 4' section of the roof was replaced within 2 hours. He gave me an estimate for the replacement of the entire roof and said it did not have to be done immediately - that was a relief, and his honesty struck me. The roof lasted another 5+ years and never leaked. When it was due to be replaced, I called back. As I live on a major road, his response was that he had been watching the roof for years and concurred it was time to replace it. I knew the previous estimate was obviously no longer valid as it was 5 years old. I requested a new estimate and was shocked to see that he didn't want to simply go over the roof with a new layer but recommended the removal of the old roof - at substantially more effort. I trusted this man so much that I never even sought another estimate. The job was performed by his employees - 3 men and a woman! The work and clean-up were meticulous. The roof is now 10+ years old and has never given me a problem. He promised an annual roof & gutter cleaning and said it would be unannounced. He would just show up and do it. I was shocked to say the least. True to his word, every year - and sometimes twice a year! - Rudy shows up and cleans my roof and gutters. He never charges, but I always tip his employee. It's money well spent. Two months ago, one of my two 37-year-old skylights began to leak - not at the roofline, but the seals on the skylight themselves where the glass meets the plastic/metal trim. I called Brodie and he advised I was fortunate as skylights generally last about 25 years and he recommends replacement then as preventative maintenance. I guess I was fortunate to have gotten 37 years, and the leak didn't cause any major damage. The sheetrock just had to be replaced. He replaced both skylights and, as with the roof, I've had no issues whatsoever. He even recommended another contractor to replace the interior trim which was done meticulously. I've recommended Brodie's Roofing to many friends, and they have all had similar experiences. I wouldn't use nor recommend anyone else!
