In August of 2024 my neighbor and I needed to find a new Septic Service, Jason Elliott was recommended. Our appointment was for Sept 16, 2024 for the 2 of us. The first week of September both appointments were canceled. When I called to cancel, before I got the other street # out of my mouth, the woman in the office quickly asked me if I was canceling #5 as well. I said yes both of us. she also asked why and I replied the cost. On 9/16/24 Jason Elliott septic went to #5, no one was home, left a bill in the mailbox for $385. This "500" gallon tank was jus done on August 27th, 2024! The serviceman should have noticed the empty septic tank and checked in with the office to verify the address. When the owner of #5 and myself called more than once, a second bill was mailed out within a week. On my second call to the office I calmly stated the FACT that I was asked if #5 was also being cancelled.....the woman in the office HUNG UP ON ME! I was in customer for over 40 years and this is not how you make long time customers.... I hope the owner of this company sees this review and questions it. BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL!

We were chasing a "Drain Fly" aka "Sewer Fly" aka "Munchies" infestation for 3 summers. These drain flies were originating in our septic and getting into the house. FIVE different technicians from plumbers to septic pump guys to drain and pipe guys came over and were all baffled. We got one quote from Drains by James for $3900 to rip out our entire outdoor plumbing situation and re-do it. Ralph Simard, the 6th guy, came over and took his time looking around and found something that no one else had... A pipe in the opposite corner of the basement that looked sealed off, but in fact wasn't. He said he thought we should dig it up, seal it off properly and it would be $600. We went with that option and IT WORKED! He felt bad for us and only accepted $550 and he completely saved our butts. We owe him so much thanks and I would highly recommend him. He was thoughtful, took his time to listen, and really cared about fixing the actual problem, not just taking advantage of our desperate situation. What a guy. Thanks Ralph!

Ralph filed a permit with the town, came back with blueprints drawn up by professional engineers and showed us further details. Once the project began, it was completed within 10 days. Their crew was polite and efficient and made every effort to minimize disruption. We were without water for only two hours while they hooked up the new pipes. They installed two new septic tanks, a drainage field, and hydro-seeded the new lawn. After the project was completed, Ralph came back to advise me on maintaining the lawn. Offering $50.00 discount I asked how much the hydro was again and they said $1,200. For 2 hours. And every hour after that would cost me $450. I told them that I would call him back. I called another company to come out. Look at my problem. They suggested I need ed to get hydro jetted. Which I didn't disagree. And he said after the job was completed $295.00. different company completely charged me way less. And didn't give me any b******* line or make me feel like if I didn't make a decision right then and there that I would have nobody to come help me. The technician Santo came and fixed the clogged kitchen sink drain. It was deeper clog so he used a long snake and made sure the pipe to the main drain was unclogged. He also gave me tips to prevent the same thing happening again. I would use them again in the future.
