Our septic system failed. We contacted Dependable. Chuck came right out and evaluated our system and told us what needed to be done. Chuck's entire family took part in the project, including Chuck's young son. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful throughout the entire job. Chuck took care of everything. He designed the system that would be best for our home, and took care of all of the inspections, permits, and approvals. The weather was bad, and extremely cold, but that did not stop them for getting the job done. Everything went smoothly, and efficiently. Chuck made sure the yard was in good shape before he left. He put the irrigation system back in order, and replaced the stone wall that had to be moved. Chuck told me he would come back in the spring after the snow was gone to check for settling of the soil, and fertilize the area. The interior plumbing in the basement was all taken care of, and cleaned up before they left. We had full use of all of our bathrooms except for about one hour when the plumber switched over our waste line to the new system. Good people and a great job. read more

Their clear & patient explanation of each step in the replacement of our Leach Field not only calmed my anxiousness but was spot-on in the actual steps of the process. A new Septic Design was expertly drawn by Chuck's son thus minimizing "wait time" by having this layer of construction in-house. Chuck personally contacted the neighbors on our "private road" to explain the need to dig under the road with the promise that passage would only be haulted for under an hour. The road was re-hot-topped immediately as promised! The grassed areas were reseeded. All permits, inspections & approvals were completed quickly which speaks volumes of Dependable's high regard at Town & State levels. Their dollar estimates were the ACTUAL expense. No surprises. We have 5 adults and 2 children living in our home so when our septic system failed, we were in dire straits. Chuck and Michelle came to our rescue in a very timely manner. They planned, designed and installed a new system so we were without septic for only a few hours. Chuck and Michelle had to overcome several problems from our neighbor installing a well too close to our leach field to having a household larger than the previous system could handle. Due to internal plumbing problems, it appeared the new system failed. Chuck came over immediately and worked with our plumber to rectify the problem. Chuck helped even though it was not Dependable's problem or responsibility. That's customer service. Chuck told me that our new septic tank would settle and Dependable would return to put in more loam and reseed. When we called Chuck and Michelle to come assess our failing septic system, they walked through the entire process of replacing it - from beginning to end - they take care of everything with minimal downtime. They explained every step of the way and listened to our concerns for how the yard would look after the construction. They are there when they say they will be there, and complete the job exactly the way they explained it in a timely and quality manner. They are skilled at what they do.
