Have had too many bad experiences with dealerships when buying cars before. This one is NOT an exception LOL but here me out. For weeks now my mother had been very vocal about getting a new car. She has the financial means, and her credit score is over 800. So going to the dealership we know were not there to go back and forth with the price. We said laid on the car that my mother wanted and we told them the price we are willing to pay, if they are not willing then no hard feeling and we walk out of the door. We walked in the door and Mr. Corey Auld (shoutout to Corey) helped us out. Corey is nothing but professional, knowledgable, respectful, and down right good guy (we didn't feel judged or forced). Thats why my mother felt comfortable around him, and to be honest so was it. We were not forced, and the whole interaction was just easy and chill. What ruined everything was his manager. he came in like we owe him something, like we buying this brand new car with scraps. we felt disrespected so we immediately stood up and out the door. What got out business back was our interaction with Corey. Got in contact with him the next day. Shout out to him coz it was his day off but he still took my call and showed up on his days off. thats how professional he was. One thing i asked was, i never had to deal with that mnager again and he assume me that we wont be dealing with his manager while we're there. So overall, i'd give it a 5 out of 5. Initially it didnt workout in the beginning but were very muvch happy how Corey recovered and put in effort for us to get the car that my mother really wanted. Bought Several vehicles recently and Reid Watanabe and David Suzuki took very good care of us. Very pleased with the sales process! The Service is not the best system. We have 2 Honda's and take cars to service. The service and puck up us quickring and flawless. At Honda we have to sit in our car in line fir a set appointment time and the wait is not acceptable as we come at scheduled time and at pickup, have to hō in a separste building to check out and have always waited 15 minutes ir more as the cashier has ti wait for service to bring paperwork! This should be in hand when they call us to get the car bc service is complete. We don't go immediately either! needs a better system read more

Last month I was in a bind as my 2013 Prius brakes didn't respond quickly as I stepped on it. Then the brake lights went on. This was a Wednesday afternoon. I then took my car to my friend at Goodyear who advised me the brakes needed replacement but needed to go to Toyota as they don't replace brakes for hybrids. I then drove my car to Toyota in town and my service rep confirmed the brakes needed to be replaced. Parts would have to be ordered and with labor the quote was $4500. I immediately called my BIL who knows autos very well and also agreed that I'd be better off getting a new car. For over a year I promised myself I'd get a new car after quitting my part time job but couldn't wait for that. Loving my Prius, I wanted to get another one but I understand there's an island wide backlog where the waiting period is from 9 months, depending on which model. My BIL suggested either Honda or Lexus hybrids where he made a few phone calls with both makers available. Step in my sister, who so fortunately scrolled through a Facebook post of a Prius being available for viewing on Friday here. We were going to be in the Kaneohe area, so we swung by to check if it was already there. Servco Toyota Windward (STW), one of three Servco Toyotas in Oahu, moved to this current location in 1970 on the Windward side and has been servicing this area for an impressive 50+ years. At the corner of Kamehameha Highway and Likelike Highway, STW is conveniently located and next door to Honda Windward. We arrived shortly before their closing of 6pm and were greeted by a salesperson who immediately guided us. It was the 2025 Prius Prime electric, where it wasn't what I intentionally wanted but kept an open mind assessing my options. We then checked out the car and was interested for a test drive but was advised it was too late for the day. My BIL then asked to make an appointment for tomorrow but the staff in charge was off Thursday but would return on Friday. Regardless we wanted to take a test drive Thursday and made an appointment first thing after their opening of 9am. Thursday morning we were greeted by Maui, the salesperson who posted the ad and came to work on his day off. My BIL, who is quite knowledgeable in cars fired away with questions and Maui answered them individually. We then took the Prime for a test drive, which had so much power that I'm not accustomed to. The car is sporty and not really me but I was impressed. We then took a test drive for another 2025 Prius that was a simpler model. I immediately felt the difference where this model shook more and therefore, much noisier. I really liked the color of this one, which was less expensive but I wasn't impressed. I ended up selecting the Prime, where we had a wait for the finance representative to finish the customer in front of me. I couldn't locate my car registration the night before and had planned to go to DMV at across the street Windward City Shopping Center and to my delight, for $10 (the cost to have a duplicate reissued at DMV), STW will do it for you by signing a form. Such great customer service. Closing the deal was quick as I opted no financing. I just followed instructions by checking, marking, and signing the iPad and wrote the check. While waiting, my sister and BIL made use of their refreshment bar and had coffee, where they commented it was not bad, with the exception of an aftertaste. Perhaps the machine needs cleaning? I was sad to have my Prius of 12 years traded in and left it behind as I drove my new wheels off the lot. But I'm now a proud owner of this sporty Prius that looks like a Tesla. It has many functions that I don't utilize as I'm a simple person and not into too many gadgets. I'm closing, I'm very pleased with the service extended to me from STW where I'd recommend them. Customer service exceeded my expectations and I'm still digging my new wheels where I've received a lot of positive feedback and comments from many. read more

Worked with a supposedly top car sales person named NOE YAPLAG all via my cell phone. He was suppose to bring in a truck to the lot for me to look at, all the while throwing prices at me via text. Ends up he has the AUDACITY to say he needs a "$500 refundable deposit" as well as my ID or we can't do business. Mind you, I haven't even LOOKED at the truck, nor SETTLED on a price!!!! Since when do you have to put out money to see a potential car to purchase??? Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND WINDWARD TOYOTA or their car salesman for whatever is this new practice policy. I did an online order for one of the pre-owned vehicles (my dream car since high school, which was discontinued in 2023). They were very communicative and I did my part by uploading all required documents plus fill out the credit app. Once they run my credit, they dropped the ball on me. No communication from both people who were communicating with me. To this day, 3 weeks later. Not one word nor response to my follow up text. If they sold the car, they can just say that. Bad customer service! Especially after telling them the background of my situation and my need for a pre-owned car. I just did this at the Mapunapuna Servco location. Horrible service! I had an appointment for oil and filter service at 2pm. I arrived early at 1:30pm. I asked the service ADVISOR which license plate light was replaced at the Toyota in town a couple months ago and he stated it was the left one, I told him it was burnt out again and needed to be replaced. It was still under warranty so I didn't expect to be charged for it. I also asked to have my key fob battery replaced and new wiper inserts installed. I signed for the work to be performed but was not ADVISED of the cost nor the time estimate. No expectations set by the ADVISOR. I did mention I had an appointment to get to in Hawaii Kai after my service and let him know I would be waiting. An hour and 45 minutes later I messaged the advisor and asked for an update. He called me 10 mintues later and stated the tech was just replacing the key fob battery and I was not in need of the wiper replacement but they would change them if I wanted. I stated no, I was already late for my appointment. Then 35 minutes later the ADVISOR notified me my vehicle was completed. 2.5 hours for an oil change, license plate bulb and key fob battery. When I was looking over my bill I saw I was charged for the license plate bulb replacement and when I inquired why, I was told that I didn't ask for a diagnosis. It was a part failure, no diagnosis needed. If the ADVISOR thought I needed a diagnosis, why didn't he ADVISE one upon write up. Then he informed me that if I wanted it replaced under warranty, I would have to take it back to the Servco Toyota in town where I originally had it replaced. Straight out LIE, it's a Toyota part warranty, replaceable at any certified Toyota dealership. I did not have time to argue with him, I had to cancel my appointment in Hawaii Kai. I have a 2013 Toyota PriusV, I can take it anywhere but I pay a premium price for premium parts and service, this place FAILED by a long shot. I will be making the drive to the Toyota in town where I have always had excellent service. P.S. they did not replace my reminder sticker, wonder what else they didn't do, and my tire pressure warning light came on while I was driving home. read more

Yesterday I had a free car service for a 2023 Camry LE, as I had purchased my car from this dealership last year. I was waiting in the lounge area for total of 3 1/2 hours for my car "service." I was worried that something had happened to my car during the "free service." This is the longest I've had to wait for car servicing. Windward Honda never kept me waiting that long when I had my Civic. Windward Servco Toyota needs to improve taking care of their customers needs better. So we ordered a Land Cruiser, put a down payment on it. When it came in the Finance guy started trying to play stupid games. Mind you my wife has a 700+ fico score (A-Tier credit). They wanted her to trade in her BMW, put down $13,000 and pay 9% finance charge. When I started arguing about how preposterous the terms were, he started patronizing me in a "let me help you understand" way. Then the guy said "well we start with the worst option first, then work forward from there - like what? I've been in finance for 29 years, and have bought many many cars - the fact that these guys tried to pull this just shows what amateur hour looks like when you have a monopoly on Toyotas. I will be contacting Toyota Corporate (japan, not USA) and reporting the experience to their ethics committee. Then I'm gonna go and buy my Toyota on the mainland and ship it over like I did my Tundra. Where I'm from, this abuse is called usery, if they treat someone with really good credit this way, could you imagine how they treat people with B or C tier credit. And just so you know the type of business this is, look at all the negative reviews (so many) - The response from Servco was the same, copy/paste generic statement. No attempt to resolve or be do better. Is that who you want to give your money to? Starting with our salesman Rob Hutcheson the whole process went smoothly. We already had an idea of the model Tacoma we were interested in but there are a lot of different options and packages. Rob went over all of these with us so we had all the information needed to make an informed choice. During the whole process there was never pressure or up selling involved. In the end we were able to choose a Tacoma that checked all the boxes. After 22 years, it was time to trade in my Lexus GS 400 and get something more economical. Loved the power and spaciousness but I was having to take out a loan to fill up gas. So I called Servco Toyota Windward and was lucky enough to have sales rep Scott Bly answered. Told him, I wanted a Prius and after some consultation from Scott, I picked the LE model mostly because it's the only one with a spare tire. Because of the shortage of semiconductors, there was a wait to buy a new car. More specifically it took 4.5 months from when the car was assembled in Japan to be delivered to Hawaii. But Scott kept me updated as the car was assembled and put on a ship bound for Hawaii. He even gave me a VIN # ahead of time so I could square up with my insurance carrier. Upon, arrival of the Prius, I came in and signed some paperwork. You could tell, Scott had done this many times before because he helped me to zoom through the process including downloading the Toyota app and registering my car. Scott gave me a crash course on the features of the car and helped me to set up my preferences. It was pretty cool to see that the odometer had only 1 mile on it. He also gave me an overview of the engine. My take away... it's located underneath the hood ( hey I'm a foodie not a mechanic ok?) Overall great experience. Seems like a great business with a nice selection of quality Toyota cars, trucks & parts. I was directed to the parts desk after my COVID Screening. "Scott" at the parts desk was outstanding! Showed me how to change battery. MAJOR COMPLAINT! Cashier is in a completely different building! You must got to counter request part, get printout of what you are to pay, then walk over and pay before returning to parts desk to get item! Ridiculous! Will probably not return for parts again knowing I have to walk across to pay and then back again. read more

I'm happy with my experience here at this location. I have been hesitant to go to the Honolulu location since I moved back to town, but I feel I should try it out one day. Pros are the techs checking you in for service communicate well and keep you posted by text or call if it's complicated. You can book a courtesy shuttle if you don't want to wait. They recommend other services, but give you good advice on if it's okay to wait to complete or immediate. Chairs are pretty comfortable, complimentary coffee and tea, WiFi, and TV while you wait. The only con for me is even if you have an appointment it will take most of the morning or afternoon. Meh, I just go across the street to shop and eat. I'm still waiting for them to post a dance trend on tik tok like the Leeward location. :p read more

Shout out to Mitch in the parts department at Windward Toyota. I request my part online and the next day he called me back promptly . He ask some question about my vehicle than he checked if he had the parts available. Turns out he had the 2 little bulbs I was looking for and he gave very good instructions on how to pick them up. Due to this pandemic he said you need to go to the main showroom and check in with someone. There will be a temperature check and a few questions needed to be answered than they will guide me to the parts department. When finally I got there ironically he was the person helping me and he remembered calling and talking to me . When i paid my parts at the cashier window I noticed he gave me a customer discount of 15% I thought that was awesome .
