What a cool little spot I stumbled upon! I love how they have so many options. I loved the sliders and pizza. I will have to try a shake next time. read more

Overpriced and very small portions! This was my slider and fries! I ordered a large pizza for my kids and they enjoyed it but it was very greasy, little sauce but edible. The bread on the sliders isn't any good and lacks sweetness. Definitely do not recommend. I spent $52 and am still hungry. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the pizza was 18' and enough to fill my 3 kids. (Didn't get a photo) read more

Wanted to try the shakes after eating at the restaurant next door. Yikes. Ordered through a kiosk on a slow Monday night and 2 shakes took forever. And one was wrong. I was super excited to try this place but after this experience I am afraid to go back. read more

Yelp was right. It seriously is a 3 star. Friends wanted to go see the light/water display so we met at Serious Eats for dinner. Only to find you can't see from inside. So we ordered and waited for our food. Food came out when it was ready so everyone was eating at different times. The pizza was just ok. The slider was nothing remarkable. The wings were underwhelming. And I could tell because there were left on the tray. Atmosphere is all the visit really had going for it. read more

This was such a neat find! Sliders, wings, and pizza bigger than your face! Everything is about $5 so you can load up in GREAT food! We got 2 slices of pizza, fries, tots, sweet potato waffle fries, and multiple sliders- my favorite was he fried mushroom Swiss . I was worroed thr large slice of pizza would be soggy but it had a nice thin crisp crust. The staff was so nice, bathrooms were clean, they had the inside nice and heated but still had seating outside if you needed to brave the chilly weather so your kids could play. We will definitely be back!! read more

Seriously disappointed. I ordered two chili dogs with queso (one with red onions) on the Fourth of July. I understand holidays are busy, but this experience was unacceptable. I waited 45 minutes inside, then was told to go back to my seat because it would be another 30 minutes. It ended up taking nearly two hours to receive my food. When my order finally arrived, both hot dogs were cold and had no chili or queso--they were basically plain hot dogs. At least they managed to put the red onions on one of them. To make matters worse, the restaurant was so overcrowded it felt well beyond a safe capacity. It was nearly impossible to get back to the counter, so I couldn't even ask for a refund or have my order corrected. One of the hot dogs ended up in the trash because it was cold and unappetizing. Spending $20 for two cold, incorrect hot dogs after waiting almost two hours is simply not acceptable. I hope the owner sees this review because there were serious issues with both the food and how the restaurant handled the crowd. read more

The food here was good, and I'd definitely be willing to come back just for the food. Unfortunately, I don't think I actually will because of everything else about the experience. The ordering process is entirely through kiosks, and your food comes out from one of three different kitchens whenever it's ready. That sounds efficient in theory, but in reality it wasn't. We waited about 30 minutes just for two slices of pizza. The long wait wouldn't have been as frustrating if the restaurant itself had been more enjoyable. It was packed with groups of loitering high school students, making it difficult to even walk over to refill a drink without getting bumped into. Finding a table was another challenge, and the ones we did find were dirty and sticky. I could see the kitchen staff working hard, so I don't blame them for the delay. This felt more like a management issue. The restaurant appeared understaffed, and there didn't seem to be any effort to manage the large groups of students who were occupying tables without ordering, leaving very little seating for paying customers. It's a great concept, and the food was genuinely good, but the overall dining experience outweighed the positives for me. Unless those issues are addressed, I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Listen, this place has all the potential in the world, super cute concept but utterly failing in execution. They have a single guy running like a maniac up front trying to do all the things. We got some cute pics with my son. Sadly we won't be back. No bartender so it looks as though the bar is closed, not even sure where you order the bar drinks. No toilet paper in most of the women's restroom, also no paper towels & no soap in one of the dispensers. Food tasted decent enough & was cooked fresh so I will give them that. Pizza had a crispy bottom, just annoying to have to lift the whole thing to eat due to no forks. Ran out of forks & ketchup. Not one table got wiped off while we were there. Fans on full blast causing food to instantly cool & harden as well as make guests uncomfortably cold. Staff in back didn't seem to have any empathy when telling you they were out of things. Note: I guess their delivery truck was pulling up as I typed this to restock. read more

I visited Serious Pizza on August 15 to celebrate the first week of school with friends. I ordered the loaded tots and a white pizza slice. The tots came out quickly and tasted excellent, and my skinny margarita was also great. The bartender provided phenomenal service. Unfortunately, the pizza was a major disappointment. It took 35 minutes for the first slice to come out, and when it finally did, it was literally just dry bread--no sauce, almost no toppings. Even the staff member who served it agreed it wasn't right. When I sent it back and tried to calmly share my dissatisfaction, the very young manager publicly yelled at the staff member who was helping me. It was uncomfortable to witness and showed a serious lack of leadership. Because of the rude and inexperienced management, and the way they treated their own staff, I will not be returning. While some of the food and service were great, the overall experience was overshadowed by poor management and disappointing pizza. read more

We visited this restaurant for lunch. The ambiance was amazing, and the location was great--a nice walking area with a park nearby. As soon as I entered, I noticed a huge slice of meat from another customer. I couldn't resist and ordered the all-meat slice. I considered the chicken wings, but I thought they might be too much for me. The food was freshly made to order, so it took a bit to arrive. While waiting, I went to get my drink, and guess what? The carbonation was gone, and all the beverages were out. They took a while to fix it, but when they did, it was good. The food was delicious. It came with a side of ranch dressing for dipping, which added some flavor. I also added the garlic crust to mine. Overall, it was a really nice spot, and I'd love to try more slices of different flavors in the future. We'll definitely be back! read more

The pizza slices were huge - the pictures I'd seen beforehand didn't adequately prepare me. The crust was nicely crispy. There didn't seem to be a lot of cheese on the pizza, but the cheese to sauce ratio was balanced. I ordered the big meat and aside from the pros just mentioned, it was just okay. The toppings were mostly thrown on top and didn't melt into the cheese, so they were falling off as I attempted to eat the pizza. The fries and tator tots were old and cold, unfortunately. The loaded tots had some pieces of bacon and a few bits of cheese on top that seemed to be an afterthought. I like that they had apple juice for kids. They have a bar as well, though I didn't order anything from it. Overall, average experience. read more

I went for a walk around Epic Ceyral & stopped by Serious Eats I ordered the sweet potato fries, chocolate shake & cheese pizza. Everything was delicious, the sweet potato fries were seasoned very & crispy. The chocolate shake was chocolaty & thick, so good. The cheese pizza was huge, delicious, the crust was thin, crispy & seasoned to perfection, definitely a reorder for dine in or take out. read more

BYOW - I'm sure it's because of the area, but there is NO free water, but bottled water for $3 and sodas. We came for the $1 cheese slices (October 2025 only) and were greeted with a warm smile. The pizza is made fresh and it crispy and big. True value for $1, but I didn't try anything else on the menu. The indoor area is clean, bright and happy. Outdoors was nice too. They added a bar around the patio area since its customers only, but it's a great view of the area and a good spot to watch the water show with. The cheese slice came with spicy cheese and at the pick up window there's red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese packets. We had someone come out and pick up our trash and ask us if we need a to go box and we said yes. We waited 5 minutes and my husband went inside to find the employee was chatting with another employee and seemed to forget about our to go box.Overall it was a good experience and plan to come back for the deals. I look forward to coming back to try other menu options. read more

Not what I expected from this restaurant group. I believe that originally this was going to be a Serious Pizza and not a food hall. The place is nice looking but that is where is ends. There are only 3 kiosks to place orders. On a Monday night it was not too bad but I can't imagine how long it must take to place an order on a busy weekend. They do not offer an app, that would be very helpful. The food is just ok. The sliders taste nice but are very small for the price you pay. The tots were the best thing from the slider bay. The classic shakes are nice and not too overpriced but I am not sure what they put on top of them. They do not use whipped cream. They are using some sort of dairy whip which does not melt. It is not nice, it's like fluffy oil. The pizza slices were huge and hot but took a very long time to come out. They were not bad but not nearly as good as the pizzas you can get at their Serious Pizza locations. Do you want a whole pizza? Nope, not here. You could order enough slices to be a whole pizza but the price would be outrageous. Overall, this concept is just a little odd. It is supposed to be a food hall but generally the stalls in food halls are different businesses and not all owned by the same company. It would have made more sense to just open a single restaurant with whole pizzas, slices, bar food, and shakes on the menu instead of this gimmicky food hall. The biggest issues I had with this location is the pricing is too high and the speed at which the food comes out is all over the place. If someone in your group orders only sliders and someone else orders pizza, the slider eaters will be done before the pizza eaters even get their food. Hopefully they can make some tweaks to this location to fix some of these issues. In the meantime I will just continue to visit the serious pizza locations. I also hope they can resolve their fly issues. read more

We got 6 sliders and they were cold, the bun and meat were so hard it was inedible. The pizza was just ok. Only thing good was the garlic aioli we got on the side for the fries. The milkshake was over priced candy not worth it. Also didn't love the unfinished plywood look. Serious eats more like seriously bad. read more

The food and the customer service at this restaurant is seriously not that good but I'm serious when I say the location is top tier. Located in the epic central neighborhood of Grand Prairie, this is an ideal location to bring guests who are visiting the Dallas area. It's close to the lake/pond and the restaurant opens up so you can see the water clearly. The setting is very lively and it's perfect for a casual evening. There's a green lawn in front with a play area for the kids. They have pizza, sliders, wings, shakes, and more. I suggest you stick with the pizza. That was the only thing I enjoyed. Also, the don't have cups for water, they have little cones. Very annoying if you have little ones. read more

Wait time is terribleeeee!!!!! Pizza is great, but the concept of ordering and lack of staff is bizarre

We really enjoyed as we were visiting the Grand Prairie area for our competition and ended up stopping at serious seats. The pizza was really yummy along with the loaded french fries. Highly recommend. read more

I got the white slice - Alfredo, ricotta, roasted garlic, oregano, basil, truffle oil. I also added the garlic and herb crust, and that was worth the $1! I also liked the side of sauce they included with the slice. This was the perfect portion if you're hungry! I got mine to go, but if you want to listen to the lights show or live music, I recommend staying and dining in. Service was quick and the staff was helpful! I'd like to try the sliders with beyond patties next time. read more

Bad business. Refuse water cups to paying customers. Have you ever been to a restaurant that would not give you a cup of water. They wanted me to buy a 4$ soda cup for water. If I hadn't already payed for my meal I would have just walked out. Insanity. read more

This place seriously lacks even the most basic customer service. There's no cashier on site, so you're left to figure things out on your own--which is a problem, because their are separate pickup counters for each food group they sell... super confusing and honestly just plain stupid. With no one to explain how the process works, you're left guessing while staff act annoyed if you ask questions. To top it off, instead of using a speaker system, they aggressively shout your name when your order is ready. If not in the immediate vicinity, good luck hearing anything. They ask for your telephone number at checkout but don't use it to notify food pick up. How hard is it to invest in microphones or buzzers? The outdoor setup is just as poorly thought-out. There's no railing or separation near the Illuvia water show, so people watching the show literally came and sat at our table while we were eating. Absolutely no boundaries or respect for paying customers even with signage posted. Food was mediocre and beyond overpriced. $9 slice of pizza. $5 slider (one slider). Worst of all, every single staff member we interacted with seemed irritated and unfriendly. I don't recommend this place at all unless you enjoy chaos, poor service, and being treated like a nuisance. read more

If you come here on a sunny Sunday don't expect prompt and efficient bar service. I waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks. And the bar is NOT busy. Absolutely no sense of urgency. They were making drinks for walk up guests before they took care of those at their bar top. read more

This was my first time visiting with my family and probably my last. A few things were great and few not so great. I did love the size of the slice because you only need one. Also the crust was crispy and so good. The service was super fast as well. As for the cons, the margaritas were horrible and had too much lime. The onion rings and fries had a lot of salt and were not edible. It is really nice inside and a nice vibe though. If you needed a quick bite, this would be it. read more

Stopped in tonight after dinner just for a cookie as the ambience is so pretty and inviting. Sadly I agree with other reviews as the place has potential but was a terrible experience. Hostess told us after 17 minutes, for a cookie, they are understaffed. After 10 more minutes the cookie was lightly cooked and tasted raw. It wasn't busy at all. Maybe it was the holidays but definitely gave off spirit Halloween vibes where you know it is a pop up for a few months. I hope they just hire more people and take a little more time and they will do so much better. Great concept poor execution. read more

Two times in a row the pizza has been terrible. The first time, there was barely any cheese on a cheese pizza. The next, the white pizza wasn't cooked thoroughly. And finally, $2 for a water cup is crazy. Esp when we're paying almost $10/slice. I really want this place to be great given the prime location. read more

Definitely improved since they opened! The pizza before use to flop, but now has a nice bite. The area is so nice, and the food is good!

We came to eat at a competitors place. The waits are terrible because there is an event going on. We got margaritas then later got loaded French fries and loaded tatter tots. Both were over the top good. I got a pulled pork slider. Boy of boy. It was sooo good. Next time we come, this is where we'll eat. Absolutely delicitous. And I saw what must have been a 20" pizza. It looked so delicious. read more

Seriously...AVOID this restaurant!! The pizza - greasy with a limp, flavorless crust and a bland, tomato juice-like sauce! No plates for your pizza. Worst than cheap, frozen pizza. The onion rings - greasy, tiny circles. The mushroom slider - 2 blobs of something fried on something suppose to be meat - all with an off -taste. And If you want water to drink ? $4!! None free. The service - AWFUL. You order from a screen but no system for when your order is ready. After waiting 20 minutes we went to the "pizza" counter to ask, and they said, "We called your name several times", but they weren't calling any names for anyone. Same issue at the "slider" counter. A noisy, open restaurant with one staff person supposedly calling names with no speaker. All the bad reviews you read about this place are true! Staff are rude and indifferent. SHOCKED that this place is still open. read more

We didn't bother trying the food but definitely avoid the bar. The bartenders only serve certain people and your wait time is insanely long. He tries to have customer service by telling you he will be right with you but he never returns. Sad because this place has potential...it's in a busy area. If it hadn't been for Birdie who came and attended myself and another patron. Definitely won't visit again. Thank goodness for other restaurants in the area. Avoiding the bar!! read more

Visited with family, order wings, burgers and milk shakes. First of all the screen you order on would reset every 10 secs making you start your order over multiple times. Secondly the sliders are seriously overpriced for the size, the lemon pepper wings are very salty, plus the drums are oversized. And no way to order just flats. Shakes tasted ok but they were also overpriced in mu opinion. read more

The pizza was horrible we had to re heat it to even make it edible because it was so undercooked. They just threw the toppings on there. Food was fine - Nothing super special. No free water, at all. You order yourself on a kiosk, serve yourself and a tip is still prompted. Bartender looked at us like we were wild for asking to get water - had to buy a single bottle for $4. And the wait was about 20-25 mins for the food. read more

My friend and I really enjoyed this place. This place is great for kids and there were a lot running around. We didn't have any kids with us though. The place is very relaxed, and they were busy on a Friday night which is to be expected. The line to get to the kiosk to order was backed up but there was a gentleman who came over and was taking orders on a handheld device. This was great because we had questions and special requests that we wouldn't be able to do on the kiosk. He was very helpful, and the same person who served us at the bar. We ordered the deluxe and the white pizza with chicken added on. The white pizza was my favorite of the two. The deluxe was basic to me (still good) but the white pizza with the truffle oil and garlic was really good. To drink we had a Tito's and Sprite and the Wu Tang. I loved the Wu Tang. I didn't even know they still made Tang lol Before we left we ordered the boozy shakes. I had the Regina George and drank after last drop. My friend got the Old George and absolutely loved it. We both had a rough week and wanted to a place drown out the problems with some good old fashioned stress eating and drinking. This place fit the bill for us. Added bonus was that we had a great view to the water show from our seats at the bar read more

Me, my daughter and my granddaughter stopped in on 1/10/2026 since it was kind of close to another event we had in Grand Prairie. It was a very cold windy day but my granddaughter still enjoyed the playground and looking at the water. We were greeted promptly and given menus and our order was taken quickly.
