Service was good, wait time, food & drinks... all good. It had been awhile, I just forgot they were there. Placed an order here during Labor Day, my order went through, payment accepted. They were closed, I get it... sometimes we forgot to turn off the app or system, whatever. No response on the phone, Facebook, email. I called the next two days when they were opened, constantly got hung up on. I finally went in, two days later, a girl had headphones on. She was nice & I explained to her the situation, she said she could make it for me now. I told her I was ordering for a family member & then she input the refund & said it'd take time. She was the only one there & I doubt that ServSafe manager certificate (it might have been expired too) wasn't hers. My problem is not with the employee, she did what she could. My issue is the whole ordeal & them not once reaching out after I tried different avenues. If I hadn't gone in, I doubt I would've gotten a refund. The flavors were bright, and the balance of the chia pudding, fresh strawberries, pineapple, and Pitaya base was just right. I arrived one day about 5 minutes before close (which, depending on your perspective, could be annoying of me as a customer, and I own that). The young employee working alone was serving a group of 4 ahead of me and asked why I was coming in so late. I apologized and asked if he was already closes, as his "Open" sign in the window was still lit, and he said no, it's fine. He then proceeded to serve the group ahead of me who ordered build-your-own ("Whatever") bowls, and with every ingredient they asked for, he would sigh and shake his head and ask them why they'd come so late in the day. When they went to pay, he told them emphatically, "Never, EVER come in that late again. Do NOT do that again." They looked understandably shocked. When it was my turn (which was quite a while later as service had been slow), I requested two of the same items - Blue Lagoon bowls. He turned to me with an "are-you-kidding" expression and said, "You want TWO bowls? Can't I just make you one?" While I do feel bad for arriving near closing time, I was still so surprised that I and the other customers were made to feel so unwelcome and at fault. I would have understood - and it would have been more reasonable - if he just said he was closing for the day, rather than chastising his customers. Perhaps he was a new hire, perhaps it was a stressful day, and it happens. The bowls were great, but this encounter has kept me from returning to this location ever since.
