My second time going to Baskins in the last couple of weeks. The first time I experienced insects and I left I wanted to throw up. The second time I saw half of an ice cream cone over in the ice cream that I wanted to get and it had some other flavor on the ice cream cone. It should've been removed, but it wasn't! Also, my second time I went I didn't get served at all. No one even acknowledge me while I was standing there so I just left. Baskin Robbin's need to get on top of it because they've been slipping on cleanliness. About a month ago I got a signature specialty cone that was supposed to have a chocolate dipped waffle cone with sprinkles and mini gummy bears and wanted a scoop of chocolate mousse ice cream. The young lady handed me a cup of rainbow sherbet that looked to be 11/2 scoops and I asked where my choc dipped cone w/ sprinkles was and gummy bears also. She said they were out of dipped waffle cones so I got a plain waffle cone that was gummy like it was exposed to humidity and my gummy bears. I complained to customer service on the app as I didn't have time to return to store, No one ever got in touch with me by email or left a voicemail mail. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Walked in and found the ice cream counter with only half the bins filled with ice cream. Clerk was sitting at a table scrolling on his phone. Finally looked up to see me and walked behind the counter. Asked if this was all the ice cream available to which he replied yes. No hello or smile just stood there. usually never write a review. Yet, I am writing to say that a birthday was ruined. I placed my order on the 22nd to be picked up on 3/24/24. When I get there the cake was given to someone else. Then they called the person who makes the cake to come in to make it. So I had to leave and come back. Inconvenienced ,to add insult to injury. Has to be the dirtiest restaurant I have ever visited. The amount of flies and smell of dirty water thru my face mask made me uncomfortable to purchase anything. The ice cream cakes were frost bitten and passed the best by date. We typically go through the drive thru for donuts and drinks and have always been bothered by their service. Ordering a dozen donuts and the manager gives me 3 bags where all the donuts were smashed together. As a loyal Dunkin customer, I've decided to never purchase or set foot in this disgusting franchise. Shame on the employees who work here. read more

I wanted a banana Royale so bad that I called them first before I went to the store, I asked him if they have the flavor, bananas and the toppings and he said yes. Then I got there they don't have the strawberry topping, no nuts, a tiny bit of whip cream and just one scoop of ice cream when I ask for two. Very disappointed. read more

The Baskin Robbins in Cedar Hill does NOT stock chocolate ice cream. They do not sell the chocolate flavor. It is SUPER frustrating and VERY disappointing. So if you want chocolate ice cream, your best bet is to go the the Grand Prairie location off of Carrier Parkway. I asked them-the Grand Prairie location-about their protocol (because they ALWAYS have chocolate when I go) and they told me they are required to always have chocolate on hand at all times. (They order an excess of chocolate and other popular flavors in order to keep them in their inventory due to the popularity of them). This location is half Baskin Robbins and half Dunkin Donuts. Came here to try the pistachio ice cream. Asked for a waffle cone and the guy said they were out. I also asked if they could add Chocolate to my cone and he said no. Anyway, my ice cream was ok. Quality of service here is very low and slow. It did not seem like there was a manager/supervisor at all. The 3-4 team members mainly stood around looking to see which one of them would serve the customers first and didn't take the initiative to do it themselves. I am a big fan of this location since it is a Basking Robbins and a Dunkin Donuts location all in one. Inevitably I always end up getting ice cream and donuts when I go. I seriously don't think the B Robs portion has 31 flavors to choose from, but it's ok, as long as they keep the Love Potion flavor in stock. (seasonal flavor, but hella good non the less) Wednesdays is a buy 2 scoop sundae get one free. Workers are usually very friendly and helpful with suggestions. You can sample the ice cream flavors if you want before you make a decision. They sell ice cream cakes that are pre made in house or you can call in an order. The Dunkin Donuts part sells hot and iced coffee's as well as a nice selection of donuts. They even have cool themed shaped ones usually and holiday flavors as well. You can also get breakfast sandwiches. Inside itself is usually clean and they have tables inside as well as a couple comfortable chairs to kick back in. Also there is a drive thru here in case you really know what your gonna order. I always go inside so as not to cheat myself from seeing something good I want to add on to my sweets order. read more

I don't recommend this place at all! I had my first and worst experience here ordering a special ice cream cake for my sons birthday party! I ordered a week in advance. The day of his party to pick it up and No cake . The cake was made but never came to the store where I was suppose to pick it up at! The employee had no idea why it wasn't there and said the manager had left and they only had one baker that made the cakes at different locations. Poor customer service overall. If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been to this location three times since they opened. Once I was ignored as I stood in front of the ice cream, while the staff was all on the, unbusy, Dunkin Donuts side of the store. Did I mention they were not busy? The second time, we had ordered a cake online. We received a confirmation of the order, but when we went to pick up, the cake was not made. I think it was at that moment they realized that their decorator had not come in to decorate cakes. Another customer experienced the same cake fate that day. Today, I took my daughter to get a scoop or two of our fave, Jamoica Almond Fudge. The waffle cone came from the display case. (I didnt know this at the time.) The cone was chewy, not crunchy. I asked for a new, fresh cone. The sweet girl that was doing the scooping, asked someone else if they had any more cones. He said no, that they would have to make some. (I think he actually rolled his eyes.) The girl came back to tell us that they would have to make the batter. Came here a couple weeks ago , they had product but outrageously terrible service. Today literally 2 flavors of ice cream! Was told "my truck will be here at 5 PM. ITS NOT EVEN NOON! you really think I'm EVER coming back! I will drive to Mansfield rather than try here again. To top it off, as I was waiting for someone to address me, I got to wat h a young man change labels on stored food..... not change out the food, just change the labels from a yellow label with today's date to a brown label with a date in the future(couldn't read it totally.) This is the worst Baskin Robins anywhere. The franchise owner has no clue how to run a business. They are always out of product. Last time I went, I ordered a hot fudge sundae. I went to get two medium root beer floats. They said they have root beer in a bottle to use and I said that is fine. After sitting in the drive thru forever, they say at the window, we don't have root beer floats. I told her someone who took the order said they had root beer in a bottle to use. She later comes back and says, we are out of vanilla ice cream we are waiting on the truck. Really, no vanilla ice cream! Geeze. I love Baskin Robins but this particular location never has what I want. Unfortunately it's the closest one to my house so it's convenient to go there but I'm starting to think it's just not worth it. My first and probably now my last three visits they seem to always be out of something. The first night I went through the drive way and ordered a banana split, well just my luck they were out of bananas. The second time I went they were out of waffle bowls. So I asked the guy taking my order if he could make one and he said he could (although his attitude clearly stated that he really didn't want to). Anyway he came through with the waffle bowl and I was pleased enough to want to return. The same night they were out of my favorite flavors of ice cream because their freezer was broken so there were only a handful of flavors to choose from (so much for 31 flavors). The third time I went through the drive through and once again they didn't have the waffle bowl. So once again I asked them if they could make one. The guy said "well it will be a while" and I told him I was more than willing to wait. Then he said "well actually we're completely out". Then the shift manager comes to the window and she said that they would have to make the batter from scratch and they just didn't have enough time with all the customers (mind you this place is always dead when I'm there) instead she decided to blame the morning shift for never having things ready. So willing to compromise I asked for a waffle cone on the side instead, and the guy goes on to say they don't have those either but last minute the shift manager finds one. Instead of substituteing it for the waffle bowl they decide to charge me extra for the cone, which to me is not great customer service when they already didn't have what I wanted in the first place. Since I've worked in fast food for over 3 years I know and understand that sometimes things happen, equipment failure, being out of stock, and even being short staffed. But when you're lacking in multiple areas it's to be expected that customer satisfaction will begin to decrease. At this point I am disappointed with this location and will probably take my business to Braums where they always have what I want. Rude employees and if you are looking for your favorites, like world class chocolate, they either don't have it or they THINK it may be in the freezer and that means they cannot serve it. One time, I was surprised b/c I ordered it and they took my money, waited at the drive thru for 10 minutes, then another employee comes to the window and they don't have it AND it now takes another 10 minutes to give me my money back, and the manager comes to the window and almost tries to force me into buying some other product, even though I told the previous employee politely, that I did not want anything else. This location is convenient for me, but not worth the trip anymore. If you are looking for 31 flavors travel up the road to the Kiest Park location.
