100/100 EXPERIENCE!…read more My mother and I visited Recipe in Oak Cliff for the first time, and let me just say--this is the cutest little restaurant that packs a BIG punch! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the nicest gentleman who took our order and made us feel right at home. We ordered two taco salads and some of their natural Kool-Aid, and everything was delicious! But what really made this experience special was the community. While we were there, other vegan patrons started coming in, and somehow we ended up having an hour-long conversation with fellow plant-based food lovers. It felt less like we were simply eating at a restaurant and more like we were connecting with good people in a welcoming community. And the timing couldn't have been more perfect for me. I've been doing a raw detox all week, so finding a place where I felt completely comfortable with the food, the atmosphere, and the service was such a win! Good food. Good people. Good energy. Wonderful community. Everything about our experience was 100/100, and I already know my mother and I will definitely be back! If you're in Dallas/Oak Cliff and looking for delicious plant-based food with a welcoming atmosphere, put Recipe on your list!
