My goodness, this place is like a Mexican food heaven and an extreme kitchen. I'm Mexican and grew up with the foods offered here but these are extreme. There was a corn in a cup, which is typical, but this was served in a plate with hot Cheetos all around, oozing with cheese spilling from the cup. Foods are extravagant. If you are looking for amazing looking dishes, come here. I only took a star off because I'm trying to find something in the healthier side, and this place doesn't have many healthy options. Good, unique Mexican flavors such as queso and avocado. However, their portions are simply massive- one serving could feed a family of four and maybe more. Ice creams are very sweet (almost excessively so), with all the syrups and sugars that have been added in. We would go back, but with the knowledge of their huge portion sizes and sugar levels. Prices are very cheap for the quantity they provide- half the price of most ice cream shops. read more

Extra lime juice, light chamoy, and extra extra tamarind candies! This is the ONLY place I go for Mangonadas - they always make it so perfect. Although I moved to Plano...whenever I make a trip to Dallas, I will make sure I stop for my favorite mangonada. The business owner is so kind and makes the ice cream from scratch, I'm still praying that he brings back the pineapple ice cream one day! I love this place. read more

Super fabulous place we found on Jefferson Blvd while cruising down the street on a Sunday afternoon. We will make it a definite favorite. Everyone must try! The coconut ice cream is the best ever! This place is AWESOME! The staff is very friendly & they'll make whatever you want - even if it's not on the Menu. I got a biónico & I couldn't even wait until I got home to eat it . They had this FANTASTIC looking menu item called a "Monster Preparado" that has cucumber, chamoy, tajin, crushed ice and, of course, a Monster energy drink. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it. I'll definitely get that on my next visit! They also have a variety of Aguas Frescas & if they're out of it in the big container, if they have the actual fruit, they'll make whatever juice it is you want ON THE SPOT! Ice cream looked delicious- everything from traditional Mexican flavors to ferrero rocher. Park in front or back but getting in through the rear door seems to be best way (front door wasn't open when I was there). You can't miss it because there's a HUGE sign for the other PALETERIA on the corner of Jefferson & Zang, and this is just the 4th door down on that same side of the street (you could get your nails done, buy some jewelry, and finance something on your way). Great place to get some ice cream and get some Mexican snacks. They make their own ice cream and their Rusas always hit the spot. The squirt is never flat since they use the individual cans and not the 2 liter bottle. The staff is nice and the owner is always friendly and very helpful. Their papas preparadas are really good too. Can't recommend it enough. read more

Came in with my friend for some elotes in a cup & we paid separately/were serviced by different employees. My friend was helped first & ordered a large elote. I went next & also ordered a large. When we sat down, we noticed my cup was twice the size. The employee who helped my friend noticed that we noticed & shrugged her shoulders & said "sorry" but did not attempt to make things right! I would have thought she would offer a partial refund or even a paleta or something to make it right but she went about her business after duping my friend. read more

Delicious homemade ice cream, super generous with samples, interesting flavors (tequila, elote, galletas maria) alongside standards (strawberries and cream, oreo), can't beat the prices. Haven't tried their other snacks but look good. My favs so far are pistachio and gansito. read more
