Woow! Da Burgers hit the spot. Came down after a beach day and was amazing. Highly recommend

X Tuda Alcatra. Delicious and huge!

Great experience at Sergio's today. Staff was super friendly. I sat at the bar and they made my burger fresh to order. Fantastic unique food for when you're tired of lunch as usual. I had one of the burgers with steak, I'll definitely be back to explore this menu. Great family vibe and the service was stellar and delivered with a smile. Blink and you'll miss it on Brighton Ave. Coke products including Mexican coke and an assortment of Brazilian candy for your sweet tooth on the way out.

SPOILED FOOD!!! Don't eat here!!!

DONT EAT HERE!!!!!!! SPOILED FOOD AND Horrible service. There was about 8 people in the tiny kitchen, workers just standing there doing nothing and not greeting any one. Food better be tasty-/ I'll be adding another review. No indication of when food will be ready, no conversation. Just very disappointed. A man who seemed like the owner walked to and fro without a mask covered. Just so disappointed.. So came back here after tried the food. ---- I called the store to get refund as they got my order wrong and gave me rotten salad. Owner said come back to return the food for money?! I had my two babies with me -/ workers saw me needing help with the door everyone just stared. Owner didn't even apologize! I said smell the salad. She just looked at me and just non challantly gave me my money back. No sorry, no food on the house (I wouldn't want their food anyway!) Reporting them for food/health inspection. REPEAT DONT COME HERE!

Oregon Burger!

This place is a welcome addition to the Brighton Ave scene. Flavorful, inexpensive, and family-run. We tried two of their daily specials: the Oregon Burger and the "Build Your Own Dish" option with rice, brown beans, french fries, fried banana, and steak. Oregon Burger: bacon, cheese, lettuce, and garlic seasoned patty on a perfectly toasted bun. Meat was juicy and tasteful. Garlic seasoning isn't over-powering but it's enough where it mingles with the rest of the ingredients in the burger. Really good! Special of the Day: Very generous portions for $10. It comes with a soda or a drink too! Steak was cooked perfectly and juicy as well. Definitely lived up to the Brazilian BBQ style. Service was great. Very friendly and attentive. Wait time was a little long but the food is made fresh and nothing sat under a heat lamp or was cold. You can watch them working on your food behind the bar. Great atmosphere and it's BYOB! Wishing them success and many years of business!

Top sirloin collards, fries, black beans and rice. $10. Excellent. I'll be back!!

Excellent. 1st time here. Had 2 nice pieces of top sirloin with black beans, collard greens, French fries. Everything was excellent . Huge portion. I'll be back!!-

Menu - they don't have any copies to take out

So while I won't be trying their burgers anymore, I did want to try their other menu items. This place is just too close to where I work, so I smell what they're cookin' regularly. I tried their traditional plate of top sirloin with sides and it came in a gigantic container for $10. It was good, though unbalanced - check the before and after pics. Overall, I'll upgrade my rating to be fair.

By far my favorite burger place. I love the New York burger, and usually add avocado to it. If you can try the daily special it's so worth it, usually only $10 for a plate and it is very filling. I've also tried the lasagna which was the best I've ever had, and I really loved the beef stroganoff. You have to try it! It's awesome! They also have homemade mayos that go great on a burger or on French fries, and they deliver!

This was our first time here. They have limited seating outside but inside has quite a few tables and a bar type counter to sit at. The service is very good and the waitress answered any questions we had. So my wife ordered the chicken sandwich ( all their sandwiches have a Brazilian name, I just don't remember) with a side of fries and I had a specialty burger with fried egg, sausage, fried onions and arugula and a side of fries. Portions are very generous and we could have shared one order of the fries. All the food was very good. We don't live in the area but they do have delivery. All in all we were very pleased with the experience.

Was good but their service was crap! They brought out the wrong burger like 3 times and their drinks cost more than their foods!

Offshore was such a great stop on our way to the beach! An acquaintance recommended we stop by and…read moreI'm glad we did. The space is bright, modern, and trendy. Such a cute atmosphere. It was definitely busy and a little noisy, so I probably wouldn't choose it as a place to sit and get work done, but it's perfect for grabbing coffee or breakfast, or meeting up with friends. The horchata overnight oats were SO good--easily the highlight for me. They were unique and so delicious. I could eat them every day. I also got a cold brew with coconut cold foam. The cold brew itself was really good--smooth and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The cold foam was just okay; I thought it was a little weak in both flavor and texture and would've loved it to be fluffier and more flavorful. Still, I enjoyed the drink overall. Service was incredibly quick, especially considering how busy they were. Our coffee and food came out almost immediately. Such a cute beachy coffee spot and the perfect pit stop before heading to the shore. I'd absolutely come back, especially for those horchata overnight oats!

Visited this shop back in March and again this month of June - Why is it always so busy tho!! lol…read more (well because they do serve good food and coffee!) Luckily we are usually able to find street parking within walking distance. Inside is quite spacious with lots of seating. There is a good list of food options usually ranging from sandwiches to wraps, bowls and pastries. They even have ube coconut loaf which was also sweet and satisfying! we tried their sammys and chicken caesar wrap and they are delicious. The coffees are made well too with great seasonal flavors. Their peanut butter mocha is yummy! Another bonus for me is their family-friendly atmosphere with a baby-changing area in their restroom and the fact that there is a playground right across! One of the top reasons we appreciate this establishment aside from visit-worthy service, drinks and bites! aaand close the beach! lots of WINS!!

Loving the juice bar trend. I've had a juice, an acai bowl, and a little strawberry cookie from…read morehere. The juice was very good. No complaints whatsoever. The acai bowl had possibly the nicest presentation I've ever seen. You can pick three toppings; I went banana, chia seeds, and granola. No real complaints about it either. The cookie was good too. Could have used more of the strawberry topping or a little less of the actual cookie but it was good. Only downside is the price but that's been the downside to every juice/smoothie shop I've been to. You're paying for fresh and healthy but sometimes $10 for juice or an acai bowl seems little higher then it should. But like I said, that's everywhere.

Let me start out with the positive. The young girl behind the counter was so sweet. The smoothies…read moreand fresh juices I saw being made LOOKED awesome. As A recommendation, I tried the fattoush salad. It was about 16 or $17. It was very underwhelming and a HUGE disappointment. I could barely eat it because the dressing was super acidic. I ended up throwing most of it in the garbage because I found it barely edible. There were just a few broken up Ezekiel chips in it finally chopped very fresh romaine tomatoes( a little past their prime), herbs and vinegar/lemon-based dressing. i'm not sure why the salad was so expensive with so few salad guts. 416 or $17, I could've gone to one of a few high-end seaside restaurants and had a beautiful salad for close to that price.

I have no idea how anyone can possibly choose a favorite Playa Bowl, first off, they have 42…read morealready created bowl options, but if you mix and match the 7 different bases, 25 toppings & fruits and THEN with add in's, you could quite literally, not eat the same Playa Bowl for a year!! A YEAR!! I might have to put this to the test next January, when I go on my new diet, 'cuz Costa Rica is in my not so distant future!! I wanted my first Playa Bowl to be pure and simple, so I went with the Electric Mermaid. Base is Pitaya (Dragon fruit) blend, topped with granola, kiwi, pineapple, mango, coconut flakes and honey. I have to say it wasn't overly sweet, really fresh tasting, the granola was crunchy and held up well to all the fruit and base, I would have liked the option to have a sweeter coconut option, since the coconut flake is hard and the texture wasn't a favorite but it's not a deal breaker for me by any means, it was just a texture thing for me. My second bowl this past Thursday was the Dragon Fruit bowl. Basically the same base and topped with granola but it had strawberries, blueberries and I requested extra honey. This was a winner for me, I might add banana next time. As for the store and customer service: * I love the decor, I found it creative, whimsy and growing up as a surfer girl from Cali, it made me miss my beautiful Pacific, but in a good way. *The music was crazy loud, like I couldn't even place the artist or the music, it's not hip when your patrons are kinda shouting orders over the music and 1,000HP Mopar Hellephant juicer thingy you got cranking over there. Just turn the tunes down just a "little" bit or fix the acoustics with plants, is all I'm saying. *Customer service was really great, polite, friendly and helpful in helping me figure out what I wanted as a Playa Bowl Newbie. That pretty much sums up my two trips to Playa, I LOVE IT!!

I'm reaching out regarding an order I placed totaling about $75. Unfortunately, the quality of the…read moreitems I received was far below what I expected. Several of the bowls contained very minimal Nutella, the fruit was not fresh, and the overall presentation and portion sizes were noticeably inconsistent with what I've received in the past. I called the location to resolve the issue, but there was no manager available at the time. The staff member I spoke with mentioned "portion control," but the portions in my order were significantly smaller than what I've previously received, especially considering the price. Because of the quality concerns and the lack of available management to help address the issue, I'm requesting a refund or replacement for this order. I've been a customer and would appreciate help resolving this so I can feel confident ordering again. Thank you for your time -- I look forward to hearing back.
