We had my late wife's repast at Jack's and Nick and his crew did a fantastic job. It was a tough day but they made things better.

The food is excellent The beer selection is always excellent with a lot of different styles I try to make sure I get back when I'm in town read more

As much as I really like that this place is around. Went this past Labor Day late afternoon. Sat outside as weather was nice. Still very good Buffalo wings (although they don't serve them with celery and or carrots as they should be, lose points there). Service was lame, waiter could not remember after asking 3x for utensils. Have to ask for plates for sharing. Have to ask for water a number of times. Wasn't all that busy at all. Happened to have Mexican Monday and those who had tacos enjoyed them. Shrimp burrito lacking shrimp. Nachos average. Porterhouse steak was good. But pricey for just a steak and mashed potatoes , nothing else. Again service was lacking , oh but when time for the bill, they're all eager to get paid. read more

Stopped into Jack's Goal Line Stand in Long Branch, NJ for lunch and it ended up being the perfect choice. I went with the Steak Bite Lettuce Wraps ($18). It had blackened steak bites, fresh pico, and cheddar jack cheese, served inside crispy lettuce wraps with a side of their special rice. It was flavorful, however the juices were a little messy, but worth it. I also ordered the Spicy Cheeseburger Nachos ($19) to share. Good seasoning on the beef with jalapeños and onions, but note that it didn't come with sour cream or guac like traditional nachos but the cheese was layed. I washed everything down with a diet coke ($3.50). Service was ok, a little slow and it wasn't that busy. But no real complaints. The inside was huge and was a nice bar area and seating area in the back large enough for a dance floor. I have no doubt this place gets back. Loved the food, it was really that good, and would be back if I am in the area. read more

2nd time at Jacks. Went to see the Knicks win the chip. Place was already crowded but not overwhelming an hour before game time with World Cup fans there to watch Brazil vs. Morocco. So the atmosphere was already lively. There was 8 of us at the table. Our server was great! Wish I got her name to give a shout out. All through the night we never said "where is she?" She was very attentive and kept the drinks flowing and the food coming. Pizza was great. Wings were great. Chicken nachos were ok. Evening was topped off with an exciting finish to the game and the Knicks winning their first chip in 53 years! Jack's is a great place to watch a game! read more

Came here on a Sunday night and they did NOT disappoint. The wings were heavenly! The 12 inch cheese pizza was also heavenly! I can't wait to go back. Delicious food. read more

It's a sports bar. Large bar and plenty of other seating. Service is good and the wings are good. Cold beer tops off the perfect combo for a sports bar. Enjoy. read more

Jack's is hands down my favorite local spot and it's all thanks to Tiffani! She's the kind of waitress who makes the whole experience. Every time I go, I know I'm going to get not only great wings and cold beer (the best combo, right?) but also the kind of service that makes you feel like family. Tiffani is always on top of things. she's funny, attentive, and somehow remembers everyone's favorites. I honestly go there for her just as much as I do for the food. The wings are always crispy and flavorful, the drinks are poured just right, and the atmosphere feels like home base for a good time. If you're looking for a spot where the food hits, the beer is always cold, and the service is unbeatable, Jack's is it. Ask for Tiffani, you'll see why I keep coming back! read more

The service was excellent today, and our family truly appreciates the care and attention. Thank you, Mikayla. read more

Came to jacks for nba finals. The girl MK is the most attentive bar tender I've seen in quite some time. Nobody's glass was left empty for more than a moment and took the time to introduce herself even tho jacks was a madhouse. This girl needs a raise! read more

LONG BRANCH: Jack's Goal Line Stand is a classic sports bar famous for their wings, ribs, and pizza with a big menu of American and Mexican influences. We enjoyed the pretzel bites, a custom made pizza, and delicious cocktails, including "Barbie girl" which was so delicious. They also have a huge beer menu! Leashed dogs are allowed at their outdoor picnic tables right in front of the building against a beautiful brick wall. It is a great spot to people watch and for Brie to do her dance. read more

If you're a beer person looking to get a bite to eat while you're sipping on some craft brew, this is the place for you. The craft beer selection is actually pretty impressive. All of the beers I tried when I came were delicious. Beer lover or not, make sure you try the Downeast Cider House Mango Peach. It was soooooooooo good. Both of my homies tried it and loved it. The food here wasn't bad at all. I ordered a taco salad, which was pretty good. My friend ordered the Buffalo chicken dip, and that was pretty good, too. The service wasn't bad, but it definitely could've been better. Our waitress would take a while to come back to our table so we couldn't order things in a timely fashion. She was nice, though. This place gives off large bar vibes. The music could definitely also be better. If it was, I feel like the vibe would've been better, too. Nonetheless, come by for a drink if you're in the mood for good beer. read more

Jack's Goal Line Stand is a touchdown all around! Whether you're here for the game-day atmosphere, a casual hangout, or just some seriously great food, this place delivers on all fronts. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Filet Mignon Sliders--and let me just say, they blew me away. These aren't your average sliders. We're talking 10 oz. of center-cut filet mignon, sliced into three perfectly cooked medallions, lightly seasoned with kosher salt and cracked pepper, char-grilled to juicy perfection, and then topped with crispy frizzled onions and a light drizzle of horseradish sauce. Each slider was served on a warm, fluffy mini potato roll that soaked up all the flavor without getting soggy. The balance of textures and flavors was spot-on--the richness of the filet, the crispy bite of the onions, and the gentle kick from the horseradish all came together like a dream. And let's not forget the shoestring fries on the side--thin, golden, and seasoned just right. I found myself picking at every last fry even after I was full. No regrets. The vibe at Jack's is laid-back and fun, with plenty of TVs, great service, and that neighborhood feel that makes you want to come back again and again. The staff was friendly and attentive, and my food came out hot and fast. If you're in Long Branch and craving something next-level delicious in a relaxed setting, Jack's Goal Line Stand is where it's at. The Filet Mignon Sliders alone are worth the visit--seriously, treat yourself. read more

Ok I have an updated... The nasty bartender moved on and the new bartenders and staff are great. We have stopped in so many times since our bad experience and other than the ultra loud drinkers on Sunday this place is awesome! read more

Bryanna was the best server, she made our visit. Food was good and drinks were awesome.

Goal line wings... Enough said! Oversized chicken wings, marinated in Frank's Red Hot sauce overnight then dredged in the tastiest batter and deep fried to perfection!!! Pizza, steak bites, wraps, sandwiches... everything is great! They have an awesome Sunday brunch as well with an amazing French Mimosa!!! They offer a weekly specials menu, are open late and do takeout as well! Everything is delicious! This is a downtown Long Branch staple and a great place to watch the game!!! But beware, it's far from fancy and gets pretty loud on any given game day! read more

I came in for dinner and a drink. I got te drink, bt the bartender ignored me for quite a while. She preferred to socialize with other employees, and to stay within her comfort zone. I tried vainly to get her attention, but she continued to overlook me several times. When I finally got her attention, I got that "Gen Z stare. " By the time the bartender decided she should wait on me, I no longer wanted to eat there. read more

Didn't realize how close to Monmouth University this is. Doesn't look as big from the front, there are two bars and TV everywhere, there is no bad seats. Good looking bar. Love the claw machines.. the duck machine was broken. Wait staff very friendly . Lots of families with kids and it is easy to understand why. The food is not the typical bar food. Pizza very tasty. Grande cheese, flavorful sauce and the crust and dough is full of flavor. The Hamburgers are amazing, you gave a choice of shoestring or regular fries . The shoestring fries are really good. It's whatever your preference is. Chicken parm sandwich is one of the best I have had. It is thick, moist and tasty. I've had bad bar sandwiches a thin piece of dry chicken . This place rocks !! Too bad I'm not local, this would be my go to place !! Portion sizes are tremendous !! Bathroom is a bit small , I don't pick a resturant based on their bathroom. I'm not a fan of the extra service charge using a credit card. You can bring cash to avoid the 3.25%. If you are in the area give it a try. read more

Been meaning to visit this place for a while now, as I have not been here since it was Jack's Rib and Ale House. Was with friends after a service and I suggested we stop here and thankfully they agreed. After a few of my favorite places closed up for good, I've been looking for a new spot for great bar food and I believe I've found it. We had to wait quite a while for our food and luckily, since we haven't seen each other in a while, we had lots to talk about, but casual friends or family who see each other often may have had a problem with the extensive wait for our food to come out. I believe there may have been only one cook and the wait staff and servers were very young, and this maybe among their fist jobs, so the orders may not have been taken in the right order, which is why tables that came in later may have been served first. Once the food arrived the gripes about the wait quickly disappeared. The food was great and the apps are a meal in themselves. Prices are totally in control for what you get. Lots of craft on tap. We all had something different, so I had a chance to see a lot of great food and can't wait to try more. "Goal Line" wings were great. With two full bars and a large dining area, I'm sure this place can get packed as it was pretty busy for a Mon. evening. I'm imagining it's quite loud during football season. Can't wait to go back again soon. Have to promise myself to be diverse! read more
