    Pure trash.

Place is an absolute mess. Pizza is awful and they serve it cold. Had a pin wheel and it was raw. The staff put the slice and pinwheel in for 1 minute and took it out. I asked them to heat it more and they looked at me like I was crazy. It's so hard to find good pizza around here you would think in that shopping center with that rent they would spend a few minutes learning how to make and serve good pizza. Hey it's Ballston Spa I guess it's my fault for stopping in.

Absolutely no care put into how they make their food. You can tell by the photos... I have lived in Malta for 5 years and the rest of my life in surrounding areas and NEVER have received something like this from our local pizza spots. I heard this place was super over priced but I didn't hear about how bad the quality of food was. We ordered a large white pizza with mozzarella&tomato, half mushroom. We paid $30 for this. The person who answered the phone couldn't seem to understand that we only wanted half mushroom. We had to repeat our very basic order 4 times. They then proceeded to read it back to us as if we had ordered something outrageous. They basically just threw the mushrooms in one spot and called it a day. It wasn't able to be picked up to be eaten, everything fell right off, WAY too salty. I'm sorry, but this isn't worth anything to me when I come home, open the box and realize I have to deconstruct and re-bake a pizza I paid $30 for. Garbage. Get this place out of the town I live in and replace it with a classic , fairly priced pizza joint PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

The Pizza here is very very good and the surface you're is also very good. The counter girl Josie was very kind to me.

$4.99 for a "specialty slice" and $10.99 for a "Stromboli " that didn't even come with sauce, way overpriced and the food was terrible, not going back

Friendly staff. Hot and fresh pizza by the slice. NYC style. Love the Sergio's salad with chicken and the Buffalo pizza. Great selection of menu items.

The "Grandma's" slices is just like the pizza I grew up with, with generous sauce, basil, and a crisp crust.

This may be the best version yet! For anyone who hasn't been back since Finnigan's on the Lake closed due to the owner's health issues, I strongly encourage you to return. The food was delicious, and the service was truly exceptional. The Tavern has been beautifully upgraded, the views of Ballston Lake are as spectacular as ever, and, most importantly, the owners and staff go out of their way to make every guest feel genuinely welcome and appreciated. It's wonderful to see this longtime Ballston Lake gathering place thriving again. We'll definitely be back!

After being closed for quite a while it reopened as the current rendition. The tavern burger was fantastic and my wife's ale battered ship was simply outstanding. The view of the lake from their deck was always a winner. Happy to see that the restaurant is back in business. The food was great and the view from the deck is a treat. We will definitely be going back again and highly recommended that you give this place a try.

The good, if you're looking for a place to hang out, have some drinks, enjoy a great view with live music this is the place. Would've gotten 5 stars easily. Great location with a great view and great vibes. The problem we encountered was the restaurant part. Showed up 5:30 on a Wednesday evening, was told that it would be 45 mins to an hour. Looked like there were open tables, but sure we'll wait. Go have a drink outside and listen to the band. An hour later I went to see how much longer it would be, was told there were still 3 parties ahead (note, that there were plenty of available tables, but apparently the kitchen was backed up). Finally get seated about 6:45. My wife ordered clams for an appetizer and a burger. I got French onion soup and a turkey sandwich from the menu. We proceeded to wait over 45 minutes for the apps to come out. Like what are we doing? It's clams and a soup. Our waitress checked in on us once, honestly think she was embarrassed to come by because it was taking so long. Thirty five minutes later a very nice girl who was not our waitress named Sierra came out with our food and apologized about the wait. The food was ok, I mean at this point we're there for 2.5 hours for burgers and a turkey sandwich so no matter how good it was we were gonna be disappointed and annoyed. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night, it's a shame because the place is so nice, I'd think it could be one of the hottest spots in the area, especially on a beautiful night like tonight. I just can't fathom it taking so long with the menu that they offer. An hour for a table then almost 2 hours for what we ordered is insane. Hope they right the ship, cause not sure who would wait that amount of time for such a basic menu.

My husband enjoyed his hearty breakfast: Farmer Dick's breakfast special, 3 eggs over easy light rye toast, red bliss potatoes home fries and bacon. The toast was good the jam was good the hash browns were good. I don't enjoy them for breakfast. I did have the best fish sandwich I've ever had in my life there a long time ago it was a special.
