Had the Kung Pao Pizza-delicious!! Even my friend - who ordered the dill pickle pizza (also delicious)-agreed!

We stopped in on a Monday evening at 6 o'clock and were surprised at how busy they were. It turned out to be Trivia Night. We didn't attempt to play officially; we are already sufficiently challenged by Wordle. With 11 beers on tap, a hard seltzer that can be flavored 11 different ways, and a guest cider there appears to be a decent variety of alcoholic beverages. I never asked if there were any NA beverages available. Eleven may be the secret number here. There were 11 pizza combinations on the food menu in addition to a Big Bavarian Pretzel. I never asked if you could choose your own combination of pizza toppings. Looking at photos of the drafts menu that others have posted, it's apparent that the draft list is constantly changing. It also appears, for the most part, that beverages with an ABV greater than 5.2% are served in 13 oz. portions or smaller. The lower ABV beverages are served in 16 oz. glasses. Flights of four 5 oz. samples are available for $10. Otherwise, the cost of your beverage is $7, regardless of portion size. My wife decided to go with a flight choosing Mojito Hard Seltzer, Ruby Red Grapefruit Hard Seltzer, Pig E. Smalls West Coast IPA, and The Gringo Mexican Lager. Prior to making her selection, she had our server check with the bar as to which IPA was the most hoppy. Their recommendation of the Pig E. IPA turned out to be neither very bitter nor very dry. Both of us agreed the hands down winner in her flight was actually the Mojito Hard Seltzer. I had the 13 oz. South of the Porter Mole Stout (7.2% ABV) which I found to be quite flavorful and potent. Since the pizzas are individual sized cut into four slices, we ordered two. The Figgy Piggy ($15) has house-made ricotta sauce, sliced figs, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle. This was very tasty, but I thought there was too much arugula. Our other pizza was a Special that night - Old School ($15) with house-made fennel Italian sausage crumble, sliced peppers, and onions on top of a house-made red sauce topped with mozzarella. Overall, a great flavor combination with excellent sausage. The dough had good flavor, I just wish it was a little lighter in texture and more blistery around the edges. The restrooms are clean and street parking is at a premium. We parked in the municipal lot behind the firehouse.

Had a great time with friends last night- service and food were great snd I really enjoyed the live music by Ed King Band. The pub is adding private party rooms and a rooftop bar for summer of '23, I understand.

Well I can tell you the website does very little to tell you that there is food at this establishment but the food it great. Got the pizza which was served so hot we couldn't eat it for a bit, and only in 4 cuts though 8 would have worked better. The giant pretzel also looked fantasting. Got two flights of beer, mine including their ABV in house brewed root beer which was amazing. My flight included both sours, which I thought were fantastic and one IPA, all of which were stellar. My husband picked a flight where he didn't find all the beers as good as the ones I selected. The flight is a great deal though as there are a lot of beers on tap and its hard to find what iteration of what kind of beer you will prefer. Hands down will be back.

The place was so cute! We were sat promptly inside and I also got to see the rooftop which was so cool and would make a great spot in the summer! We got the Shroomin', Nashville hot, dill pickle pizza, and the Roni and everything was absolutely delicious! We also ordered a variety of the seltzers which was also so yummy and I loved the Prickly pear flavor! It does get busy and we ended up having another hour wait when we ordered a pizza to go so I definitely recommend getting there on the earlier side.

Bad Habit IPA - light and crisp. More like a good lager.

Newcomer to Ballston Spa, but I think they may stick around. They keep it simple serving beers and pizzas. You can see the beer tanks where it's brewed in house and they have 12 house brews on tap with a mix of IPAs, sours and malts. Parking might be tricky as you're relying on street parking. However, it's a good neighborhood spot. They currently have 3 TVs at the bar and a fourth around the corner. Not ideal for watching sports but if you get there early and grab a spot, could be a good way to spend a couple of hours. The staff is young, maybe needs a little seasoning, as when I was there they seemed more chatty with each other than tending to clientele. Bar tenders often had back to the guests. They seem to be doing the job, but could be more friendly and welcoming. It's got a lot of what is good about a neighborhood pub and I'm glad to see it as part of the Ballston Spa scene.

There's a lot to like about Speckled Pig. The space is inviting, with lots of seating options. The bartenders are friendly and attentive and talkative. The beers are quite good (that's the most important part, of course). They have cool swag, and they have their own pizza oven. There's a good amount of nearby street parking, so you're not likely to have to do a lot of walking to get there unless you're checking out more of Ballston Spa. They run their own pub trivia on Monday nights - I know of few other pubs that hold trivia on Mondays, so that's another unique draw, at least to me. There's lots of good reasons to include Speckled Pig in a visit to Ballston, or to include it in a pub crawl, or to bring friends.

I LOVE THE PIZZA AND THE MOJITO SELTZER!! Such a great place to go to with friends. The service is also amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. (Especially the pickle pizza is my favorite!!)

We hosted a safari theme/gender neutral baby shower here on 6/8 and it exceeded all of expectations. The owners Kelly and Mary curated our event with such a high level of attention to detail. They provided additional flowers, balloons that really tied everything together. The food blew us away as well. I highly recommend the charcuterie board. It's not only visually appealing but so yummy. You can't forget about their amazing za too! Nashville hot is a game changer. Lastly, the gals who were working our event were so polite and accommodating. We never worried a thing from the begging of the event to the end. It was incredibly well executed from start to finish. Speckled Pig is your spot for it all. Book with them today, you won't regret it. Thank you to the owners and the staff!

The Speckled Pig is AMAZING! The food, atmosphere, staff, everything is top notch. I'm can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy the roof top bar! We had our baby shower there and they do not disappoint. I would recommend their event to anyone looking for a smaller spot!

Super fun vibe here, very hip urban chic! They have a nice gathering space with both tables and chairs as well as loungy comfy sofa's. An added bonus is their rooftop bar area for warm days and early evenings to chill. They even have a private party room located on the lower level. It's open for seating for special events and also available if you wanted to have your own private bash. The staff here is fun and super friendly and is always anticipating in advance when you want a drink or want to place an order for one of their pizza's. Their regularly available pizzas as well as their pizza specials are so so good and made to order. Thats not to say that I don't enjoy their seasonal brews or hard seltzers because it's all great! I had a Mexican Elote Chorizo Pizza, Cheesy bread, blueberry hard seltzer, hard root beer and gringo beer, all so so refreshing! They always have tasty brews that are either seasonal or on rotation so all wonderful. Give this spot a try, you'll have a great time!!

The most AMAZING pizza!! As a pickle lover, you can't miss this place! They have 2 types of pickle pizzas to choose from, one with dill pickles and one with dill pickles and spicy chicken. Our pizzas came fast, but people who arrived closer to the dinner rush had to wait an about an hour for their pizza. The rooftop has a great view as well and is a great place to get a drink with a friend.

There's a small bar on the left and several tables among several small rooms. Plus, there's seating outdoors in the small yard. The beer is good. There's a variety of styles including NE IPAs, Pilsners, Stouts and ESB. The few I've tried hit those styles down the middle and drove in a few funs. The downside is the price. My 4pack takeaway of pint cans was $20, so puts it on the high end of craft beer costs. Although, they did include a token for a free beer in house. If you stay and drink, it's $7/per so more readable compared to other bars. I'd like to come back and try the rest of their lineup to perhaps find one that hits it out of the park!

We've come a couple of times and the guy behind the bar has always been enthusiastic and friendly. Unfortunately, there's no kitchen for food and the beer is just okay. I'd suggest sticking with more classic styles like the cream ale, ESB, etc. I have tried a couple of their IPAs and NEIPAs and several seem to have been oxidized or of lower quality than most other breweries in the area. There are a few benches and chairs outside in the front and side yards to sit at, and those outdoor spots are dog-friendly. I think it's location makes it an ideal place to stop in for a beer before going out to dinner somewhere else nearby.

For food we got the Smash Burger and the Chicken Sandwich! Both which came with fries. We both rate the fries 10/10!! Battered, seasoned and crispy pretty much perfectly. The burger was delicious, although pretty messy (that's good or bad depending on opinion lol) The chicken sandwich had great flavor, but I thought could have used more sauce as it felt kind of dry. This was an amazing experience. Every touch point was a pure joy, from the moment I entered and was promptly and politely seated, to the last few minutes as I chatted with one of the owners, Chris. Every single interaction we experienced gave us the comfort of being amongst friends who were happy to see us, and more importantly happy to be here. From our fully engaging server to the wonderful highschool sophomore who never let our water glasses get below half full, each and every person made our experience just that: an experience of excellence and perfect attention to detail. Our meals were just as delicious as the people. The Grilled Double-Cut Pork Chop was an absolute triumph--impeccably juicy, beautifully charred, and perfectly balanced by earthy morels, rich creamed ramps, and the bright, sweet pop of local cherries. The reimagined "Ratatouille" was a stunning work of art, featuring a beautifully seared zucchini steak, smoky eggplant crème, and a crisp, fresh nest of squash topped with plump, perfectly grilled shrimp. For the perfect conclusion, the Espresso Crème Brûlée delivered a silky, robust coffee custard beneath a shatteringly crisp caramelized crust, brilliantly elevated by the crunch of cacao nibs. What truly elevated the evening, however, was how flawlessly they handled my strict wheat- and grain-free dietary needs. Navigating menus with these restrictions can often feel stressful, but our server and the chef made every possible effort to accommodate me. They proactively verified every sauce and reduction to ensure they were safe, and the kitchen effortlessly modified the dessert by putting the biscotti on the side. To enjoy a multi-course, world-class meal with that level of meticulous care and total peace of mind is incredibly rare. They didn't just accommodate a restriction; they crafted a masterpiece around it. We certainly won't be waiting another 8 years to return.
