Had the Kung Pao Pizza-delicious!! Even my friend - who ordered the dill pickle pizza (also delicious)-agreed!

We stopped in on a Monday evening at 6 o'clock and were surprised at how busy they were. It turned out to be Trivia Night. We didn't attempt to play officially; we are already sufficiently challenged by Wordle. With 11 beers on tap, a hard seltzer that can be flavored 11 different ways, and a guest cider there appears to be a decent variety of alcoholic beverages. I never asked if there were any NA beverages available. Eleven may be the secret number here. There were 11 pizza combinations on the food menu in addition to a Big Bavarian Pretzel. I never asked if you could choose your own combination of pizza toppings. Looking at photos of the drafts menu that others have posted, it's apparent that the draft list is constantly changing. It also appears, for the most part, that beverages with an ABV greater than 5.2% are served in 13 oz. portions or smaller. The lower ABV beverages are served in 16 oz. glasses. Flights of four 5 oz. samples are available for $10. Otherwise, the cost of your beverage is $7, regardless of portion size. My wife decided to go with a flight choosing Mojito Hard Seltzer, Ruby Red Grapefruit Hard Seltzer, Pig E. Smalls West Coast IPA, and The Gringo Mexican Lager. Prior to making her selection, she had our server check with the bar as to which IPA was the most hoppy. Their recommendation of the Pig E. IPA turned out to be neither very bitter nor very dry. Both of us agreed the hands down winner in her flight was actually the Mojito Hard Seltzer. I had the 13 oz. South of the Porter Mole Stout (7.2% ABV) which I found to be quite flavorful and potent. Since the pizzas are individual sized cut into four slices, we ordered two. The Figgy Piggy ($15) has house-made ricotta sauce, sliced figs, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle. This was very tasty, but I thought there was too much arugula. Our other pizza was a Special that night - Old School ($15) with house-made fennel Italian sausage crumble, sliced peppers, and onions on top of a house-made red sauce topped with mozzarella. Overall, a great flavor combination with excellent sausage. The dough had good flavor, I just wish it was a little lighter in texture and more blistery around the edges. The restrooms are clean and street parking is at a premium. We parked in the municipal lot behind the firehouse.

Had a great time with friends last night- service and food were great snd I really enjoyed the live music by Ed King Band. The pub is adding private party rooms and a rooftop bar for summer of '23, I understand.

Well I can tell you the website does very little to tell you that there is food at this establishment but the food it great. Got the pizza which was served so hot we couldn't eat it for a bit, and only in 4 cuts though 8 would have worked better. The giant pretzel also looked fantasting. Got two flights of beer, mine including their ABV in house brewed root beer which was amazing. My flight included both sours, which I thought were fantastic and one IPA, all of which were stellar. My husband picked a flight where he didn't find all the beers as good as the ones I selected. The flight is a great deal though as there are a lot of beers on tap and its hard to find what iteration of what kind of beer you will prefer. Hands down will be back.

The place was so cute! We were sat promptly inside and I also got to see the rooftop which was so cool and would make a great spot in the summer! We got the Shroomin', Nashville hot, dill pickle pizza, and the Roni and everything was absolutely delicious! We also ordered a variety of the seltzers which was also so yummy and I loved the Prickly pear flavor! It does get busy and we ended up having another hour wait when we ordered a pizza to go so I definitely recommend getting there on the earlier side.

Bad Habit IPA - light and crisp. More like a good lager.

Newcomer to Ballston Spa, but I think they may stick around. They keep it simple serving beers and pizzas. You can see the beer tanks where it's brewed in house and they have 12 house brews on tap with a mix of IPAs, sours and malts. Parking might be tricky as you're relying on street parking. However, it's a good neighborhood spot. They currently have 3 TVs at the bar and a fourth around the corner. Not ideal for watching sports but if you get there early and grab a spot, could be a good way to spend a couple of hours. The staff is young, maybe needs a little seasoning, as when I was there they seemed more chatty with each other than tending to clientele. Bar tenders often had back to the guests. They seem to be doing the job, but could be more friendly and welcoming. It's got a lot of what is good about a neighborhood pub and I'm glad to see it as part of the Ballston Spa scene.

I LOVE THE PIZZA AND THE MOJITO SELTZER!! Such a great place to go to with friends. The service is also amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. (Especially the pickle pizza is my favorite!!)

There's a lot to like about Speckled Pig. The space is inviting, with lots of seating options. The bartenders are friendly and attentive and talkative. The beers are quite good (that's the most important part, of course). They have cool swag, and they have their own pizza oven. There's a good amount of nearby street parking, so you're not likely to have to do a lot of walking to get there unless you're checking out more of Ballston Spa. They run their own pub trivia on Monday nights - I know of few other pubs that hold trivia on Mondays, so that's another unique draw, at least to me. There's lots of good reasons to include Speckled Pig in a visit to Ballston, or to include it in a pub crawl, or to bring friends.

We hosted a safari theme/gender neutral baby shower here on 6/8 and it exceeded all of expectations. The owners Kelly and Mary curated our event with such a high level of attention to detail. They provided additional flowers, balloons that really tied everything together. The food blew us away as well. I highly recommend the charcuterie board. It's not only visually appealing but so yummy. You can't forget about their amazing za too! Nashville hot is a game changer. Lastly, the gals who were working our event were so polite and accommodating. We never worried a thing from the begging of the event to the end. It was incredibly well executed from start to finish. Speckled Pig is your spot for it all. Book with them today, you won't regret it. Thank you to the owners and the staff!

The Speckled Pig is AMAZING! The food, atmosphere, staff, everything is top notch. I'm can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy the roof top bar! We had our baby shower there and they do not disappoint. I would recommend their event to anyone looking for a smaller spot!

The most AMAZING pizza!! As a pickle lover, you can't miss this place! They have 2 types of pickle pizzas to choose from, one with dill pickles and one with dill pickles and spicy chicken. Our pizzas came fast, but people who arrived closer to the dinner rush had to wait an about an hour for their pizza. The rooftop has a great view as well and is a great place to get a drink with a friend.

No problem parking on this visit in January. The dining and bar area had maybe four other parties when we arrived at 1 p.m. We probably didn't need to have made a reservation, but it was better to have been safe than disappointed. The bartender was assigned to serve our table and informed us of three delicious sounding soups that were available - Italian Wedding, French Onion, and the third that none of us tried. Instead, water, Cola ($3), and a winter warming Chatham - Oh Snaps! ($8) were our appetizers. The Oh Snaps brown ale was smooth and flavorful with its addition of cinnamon and ginger. My Smash Burger ($16.99) was served on a fresh bun with two patties, American cheese, sauteed onions, lettuce, tomato, and their house "birdie sauce." I opted to upgrade my side to onion rings for $3. I was not asked how I wanted my burgers cooked and they came out medium by my judgement. Overall, the combination of all the flavors was good. The onion rings appeared to be made inhouse and were tasty. My fellow diners were very pleased with their Club sandwich ($16.99) and Fried Chicken Sandwich ($16.99). Portions were large enough that each of my friends brought half of their lunch home. There is a nice view through the glass doors leading to the raised deck overlooking the golf course. Service was pleasant and efficient.

For starters- Sam is a genius at decor. I said "I'm having a baby shower, it's a girl, the theme is baby in bloom" and she ran with it and blew my mind. That was ALL the direction I gave and the place looked GORGEOUS. Cindy kept the party going at a good pace, making sure we started food, cake and games running on time, which meant I didn't have to focus on that during the event and could mingle freely with my guests! It's a beautiful location with a lot of land- my sister brought her little dog and kids had a blast playing games on the lawn (the venue had corn hole and ladder ball). Theres a small lookout area where some of the guys smoked cigars and they also have a bar area (shout out to Dan at track 32 catering for their incredible bar and food). The ladies were super accommodating- they have a big walk in fridge so I could bring cake and flowers for the centerpieces the night before and then they put the flowers in the mason jar vases (again provided by the venue). They thought of everything- 2 photo areas, a gifts table, Bluetooth speakers with a mic set up, a table set up for food and for cake, and lots of smaller areas for guests to break off into smaller groups on the side. They were very responsive to their emails and cleaned everything up after. Like I said- they made it so easy for me! I can't thank them enough and can't recommend them enough

As soon as you enter, you can find big tables that look like a receptionist area with multiple beer taps, with big logo of the brewery. I read the beer list in their website and they have a very narrative description almost poetic for each beer. One beer that intrigued me was the coquito stout as it has chocolate, coffee, and coconut notes. The woman who helped me was super friendly with big smile. She let me taste a couple of beer because they don't offer beer flights. I sampled the coquito stout and I right away ordered it. It is sweet and chocolatey with subtle hints of coconut. It's like a dessert. Huge, classy, and upscale indoor seatings. It has the nuance of a ski lodge. Low and slightly reclined well-cushioned chairs. Very relaxing. For big groups, there are benches with long tables. To order beer to go, you can utilize the kiosks near the gift shop. Please be aware that you won't be able to order at the kiosks after 9:30 PM. Fortunately, the gentleman at the beer pick up counter was very helpful. We explained that it's our first time and came out of town. He went above and beyond to fulfill our orders. I asked about a drink they served previously and he knew nothing about it. I have no problem with that but ask someone don't just shrug your shoulders. Another bartender told me it's not on the menu right now. My drink was a seltzer that tasted vaguely like a margarita and was good. The only food they have is garlic knots and pizza. If that's all you serve I would make sure it's the best damn pizza. It is not. It was edible but the crust was so soggy it had to be eaten with a fork. Margarita pizza had no tomatoes on it and very little cheese. My rule, every slice should have the three key ingredients. You can't buy slices only full pizzas so good luck if only two of you are there. My other problem is the service. No drink menus on tables or listed where tables are so everyone needs to go up to the front. It took a while to get drinks and then back in another line for pizza after I took a pic of the menu from the wall. They text you when it's ready. Maybe it's me but in a place with a lot of alcohol flowing I would expect more food offerings. Great place to sit outside try the seltzers and beers but maybe bring a few snacks in your pocket. For me it's a lot of running around to get stuff and not very relaxing. I will try again, maybe I got a new server who should have helped us more. I do need to say, first trip not impressed!
