We found Sergio here on Yelp and he is probably one of the best Yelp finds we have ever made. I almost don't want to write a review so that I can keep this diamond in the rough my own little secret. Sergio is AMAZING!!! If you don't hire him to do your handyman work, you're dumb. Yep, dumb! 1) he is super personable and as honest as can be 2) his going rate cannot be beat 3) his workmanship and attention to detail is impeccable We had to pull an old, moldy cabinet out of our master bathroom, which also meant pulling out the mirror, fixing plumbing issues, and......once the cabinet was out, it now included laying new tile as well. Sergio came over to do the prep work on Friday night for a couple hours, then was going to finish up the next day on Saturday; however, the tile needed to dry a bit longer and the paint also needed more time to dry, so he scheduled time with us on Sunday to do it instead. Sunday, being EASTER SUNDAY!!! Yep, he committed to this job and was going to finish it no matter the day. So he came over at 8am on Easter, we installed the cabinet, the vanity, the sink, the fixtures, etc and he escaped just in time for sunday services with his family. Honestly, this is a guy you can rely on and you can trust. If you don't give Sergio a shot, you'll kick yourself later. Only thing is, that this is his side job, so he really only works evening and weekends, but believe me, he is well worth it! read more

If i can give him more stars I would! He is the most honest and friendliest person!!! I had Sergio come out to take a look at my two broken sprinkler and see if he can fix it and get an estimate. He came out within the hour and gave me a really reasonable estimate. However, he suggested that I ask my gardner to do it b/c it may be cheaper. I told him it was hard for me to communicate with my gardener b/c I don't speak Spanish so he called my gardener right away and spoke to him about fixing my sprinkler and took care of everything for me. He even marked the broken sprinklers for my gardener. He did all of this for me for free and he was so honest about cheaper alternatives. I would recommend him to anyone I know and I will definitely use him in the future. It's hard to come by such a honest person these days! read more

I cannot give enough praise for Sergio! We feel lucky to find such a friendly, reliable, hard-working local handyman who is fair & honest. He quotes by the hour for us & he has done such a good job with everything, we have had him do a variety of work in our present and previous home. If there is something he can't do, then he usually knows someone who can :-) Although his work schedule can be busy, he is good at organizing his time for important/emergency jobs. His assistant, Mario, is also a pleasure to have working around the house and together they make a quick job of everything. Sergio is very friendly and efficient. We have been dealing with Sergio for the past couple of months during our remodeling and very happy with his work. If you have an emergency and if you let Sergio know about it, he will make sure your problem is taken care of. The best thing about Sergio is that he cares about your property very much. He is not one of those contractors who finish their assigned work and be done with it. If he notices any problem in any part of your property (even if it is totally unrelated to his work), he immediately brings that your attention for you to take care of it. In our case, Sergio has noticed at least two instances of plumbing leaks which could have caused major damage to our newly built kitchen cabinets as well as new floors. I dont think we can get anyone as honest as Sergio and we will continue to hire Sergio for all our handyman needs. Sergio's helper Mario is also very pleasant to deal with. He is very quiet and always busy working. No matter how tired he is, Sergio always talks to you with a smile. Called this guy to see if he could help me do some home repair and left a message. He called me back, but after I told him what I needed him to do he suddenly got "disconnected". I called back right away and he said he was in a bad phone area so the call must have dropped, although I heard him perfectly. He said he'd have to call me back later when he had a better connection. (I heard him perfectly during this entire conversation.) Of course, he never called back. If you don't want to do the job, just say so. Don't play "the call must have dropped" game. Sergio has alot of work lined up but he is very flexible with his schedule. The job he helped me complete was re-patching a small part of the ceiling (the drywall), after I had a leak fixed. We hired Sergio and his partner for some hard, hard work. We had 6-7 cubic yards of dirt to be moved from the front of the house to fill in some large holes in the back yard. Sergio and his partner were very courteous, worked very quickly and were very careful not to damage anything. They pay attention to details, performed some additional tasks as requested without any complaints and cleaned up before they left. The task was completed as he promised, at a very reasonable price. Found Sergio on Yelp. Setup an appointment and we received a quote for some window repair. We set a date for the repair work (based on his schedule) A few days before the date, he texts and indicates he needs to re-schedule because of higher priority work. We re-schedule another date (again to his choosing), he cancels this date. I ask him politely to re-schedule again - he never responds. I tried to follow-up without any response. Not sure what happened and why the work was ignored. It was a very frustrating experience. I don't recommend him. read more

I'm posting Sergio as a VERY competent handyman and definitely worth checking with for small fix-it type project. I often find it difficult to get my 'smaller' projects done because I'm looking for someone professional but also who is also willing to do a small project... and its my opinion that if you're good, well then you're doing bathroom remodels, etc... at least that's my prejudice. Anyway, absolutely needed to get an in-room air conditioner replaced and so I started my search... after some challenge I found Sergio and project turned out very well. The project eventually involved electrical work (Sergio removed the plug and 'hard-wired' the electrical so I wouldn't have to see the plug), sheetrock/patching/caulking/painting, and even finding an additional vent from Home Depot (because the back of Sears Kenmore through-the-wall air conditioner looked terrible), cutting it cleanly with metal cutters and putting it up. As well, this was on the second floor and Sergio had access to 'helper' which I also found wasn't always true with handyman. Sergio was respectful, kept project very clean, cautious, and really thought about all aspects of the project before he called me back to say he could do it... and efficient, project ended up taking more than 1 day and he stayed with it until it was done right. read more

Sergio came in to remove plumbing fixtures so we could re polish our marble counters. He knows plumbing and did a really good job of carefully removing, and then reinstalling fixtures. We are planning on using him for other projects, but so far I am impressed with his knowledge, care, and work speed. read more

Sergio is simply the best!!! Sergio will tell you honestly whether or not something is within his skill set. If what you want to do falls within his skill set, then you are in for a real treat. He replaced my double bathroom vanity with two single vanities and the overhead light with two wall lights. This included drywalling, texturing, painting, rewiring, plumbing, and some awesome style advice. Sergio even threw in miscellaneous extras (such as cutting up and hauling away old plywood) for free!!
