This place is fantastic! I happened upon this place as I searched Yelp reviews for a nail salon near my house. It has been open for a few months now and is located across the street from Heinen's. I am impressed with how clean and modern looking it is. There is a computer checkin upon arrival, and after picking a nail color, I was offered water, coffee, or tea-either green or ginger tea. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I got an eyebrow wax, and Serenity mani/pedi. Pedi chairs are very comfortable with full massage function. My nail tech was Mila, offered me a variety of "flavors" for the type of scents to be used during my pedi, which included a massage, mask, heated towel wrap, and exfoliation. This is a wonderful place with hardworking and sincerely nice employees who seem to enjoy their work. Great quality products and attention to detail in the mani/pedis. They really take time during the massage - this isn't like other nail salons that make you feel like you are being rushed or an inconvenience. The larger/taller gentleman that works thee is simply rude. He took an aggressive tone because I don't understand why I could not substitute acrylic for gel polish . I've attempted other times to receive see I e but he his simply ignorant. 0/10. Do not recommend. read more

OVERCHARGED I told them I would be 5 minutes late and they were nice about it, but I didn't get what I asked for. I asked for light pink chrome nails, and I got white iridescent nails. No cuticle care, and left mounds of cured nail glue under my nails. Also left enough space between my cuticle and the start of the nail where it looks like I've had them for a week. Everywhere on their website and in store their prices are posted. $65+ for an acrylic full set w/color. I was expecting maybe $10 more for chrome, at the most. My total was $104 and the whole time they wouldn't stop asking if I wanted my eyebrows or feet done. They asked me for tips after I tipped once already. Would not break down the price for me. They kept telling me to tell my friends, so if you choose to go here, make sure they do not overcharge you. And double check everything they do to make sure it is correct. I recently got a manicure done, and the experience was far from pleasant. The owner, Johnny, was incredibly rude when I simply asked if the nail polish used was old. The paint was thick, and it looked awful on my nails. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, he yelled at me. On top of that, the polish took a long time to dry, and had to redo a couple of nails because the paint got disturbed. It's as if asking a simple question is a crime at this place. You can definitely expect rudeness if you visit this store. Not just him, others working here behave the same. The environment is toxic and you can feel it. read more

Price is good and a very clean place kept me going back. There are only two technicians at this time. I had to reschedule once due to getting stuck at work and the owner huffed his disappointment over the phone fairly pointedly. I rescheduled for a Saturday. I was three minutes late (I stopped at an ATM to get him a cash tip) and he took a walk-in front of me. I was pretty shocked. I rescheduled again and he made some petty comments about clientele he recalled from working somewhere else which was the final straw for me. I assume a 10 minute grace period when I have an appointment and understanding if I need to reschedule. I've chosen to take my business elsewhere, "If they gossip to you, they will gossip about you." Worst nail salon I have ever been to. The owner is so rude and so mean. Her son attempted to do my nails and it took him 5 minutes to file and tear the cuticles off ONE of my nails. I would never go back or recommend my worst enemy to come here. Pure JUNK. I paid $36 dollars for the worst manicure of my life. SKIP this place for sure. Moving from Texas most of the services I've had at other salons were expensive polish changes; this was the first real pedicure and manicure with dip that had a great service, amazing quality, awesome massage on my arms and legs, and they used great products. Oh, and they don't try to use a drill to ruin your nails - while they use them for services it is light, not speed demons that destroy your nails. This place is a gem/must visit. read more

Rudest treatment and worst pedicure ever - the man was abusive! Hurt me and my feet. Never go there.

I received a pedicure. The water was HOT! He was a little rough. While checking out he asks if I want to tip (which is unprofessional, just hand me my receipt and let me decide) i agree to tip but the amount wasn't to his liking. His demeanor changed instantly. He just made $80 for an hour, it is MY choice to tip or not. He makes his own cost for his services. Why people think they need a tip to do their job is baffling. read more

I've searched a long time for a salon I could see myself being a regular at. I finally found that salon today after visiting Serenity. The salon was clean and tastefully appointed, all the tools were clean, the manicure was excellent, and the service exceptional. I'm more than happy to pay slightly higher prices for a salon that encompasses all of the above. They were very accommodating and able to fit me in same day. They are also one of the few salons in the area that can properly do a dip manicure. Highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a clean salon they can trust. read more

Got my mani and pedi. Did the Serenity (upgrade by extra 10$) pedicure. Mani was 26$ and 55$ for pedi, total of 81$ plus tax and a '5$ PPE charge' total of 91$. The special packet he opened for the serenity pedicure was nothing special, also the leg massage sucked. If you are going to just rub the top of my shin for 10 minutes that's not a massage. A massage should include the calve muscles and the feet. So even though their menu says 'extra long massage' for the serenity pedi, def not worth it cause it's not a massage! You're going to spend money for someone just running theirs hands over and over on the top surface of your legs. And this PPE charge? That's ridiculous! No other place has charged me higher for PPE coverage. I was not provided a mask/gloves etc. Will not be going back, I tried this place as it was one of the few opened on sundays. I could not rave enough about Serenity! I've been getting my nails done for 10+ years and this is one of the best salons I've been too. I was able to get a same-day appointment for a gel mani/pedi. I had to wait for some time due to some understaffing, but they let me soak my toes and sit in the massage chair while I waited. Due to my patience, they upgraded my basic pedicure to their Serenity pedi for FREE. They took their time and made sure my fingernails and toenails were absolutely perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was nothing but welcoming and friendly the entire time. I went Serenity to pamper myself after a bad day. I am glad I made a decision to come here! I received both a manicure and pedicure. The man who did my nails did a great job. My nail looked so good before the polish was applied that I thought I did not even need to add polish. The people here are also talented. I had a cracked nail on one of my toes and he did something to the nail where no one could notice it. I love my nails and would highly recommend Serenity. I plan to return. read more

Will never go there again. Was there a few weeks ago for the second time. Called at opening to see if there were any appointments for the day and got one at 1 pm. So far so good. Got there and was seated for my pedicure with a new technician who was doing a really nice job but they started to get backed up. The owner (male) came over and started yelling at the technician and then asked me if I was a walk in and I said no that I had an appt. He huffed as if he didn't believe me and then proceeded to yell at the receptionist and then took my technician away to start someone else (again, very angrily) ... and the other owner (female) came over to finish my pedicure. It was very uncomfortable and I was embarrassed for the employees. Seriously toxic environment there. I get a sense that if you are a regular there you will get the friendly treatment, but if not... well SO MUCH FOR SERENITY. read more

My pedicure left one heal pretty raw - didn't realize it at the time. pedicure Polish peeled after one day :( One daugter's nails didn't seem to dry quite right and left streaks. Luckily the daughter who was getting married didn't have any problems. Quite pricey!! read more

Overpriced and prejudice!!!!!! I'm not even going to waste my time going into major details. I could seriously write a book, however this man saw black people entering the shop and turned on rap urban music. It was so offensive- not every black person listens to that type of music. Im an educated black professional that knows good service and this isn't it. Johnny or whatever his name is, caters to older white woman, he flirts with them so they can keep coming back. I was serviced for over 2 1/2hrs and I watched how he treated everyone. He should be ashamed of himself. They have clearly renovated and are making their client pay for the renovation costs!!! They charged me 50 to remove my gel from my toes and finger nails, which is laughable. I spent almost 300$ for a full set w/gel, removal of gel from my toe nails and full pedicure. This was my first time at Serenity. In total, my pedicure was $88.56. That was $55 for the "serenity" pedicure with included a scented pack that includes about a 2oz pack of salt, scrub & mask, $22 for gel polish, $6.56 for sales tax and a $5 PPE SURCHARGE which when I read my receipt I was puzzled because I didn't receive any PPE (personal protection equipment ie mask, gloves etc) and I brought my own sanitizer with me. The gentleman said that they charge for spraying the chair before & after a person receives services. I mentioned that that should be done anyway. So, He mentioned that everyone else raised their prices but they're just adding a PPE charge, ON TOP of the long terms & conditions you have to sign. My pedicure was basic. No special leg or foot massage, definitely not worth $88.56 but I won't be back. Do your own research. It's not a bad place, just not worth the TAX, PPE Charge, and total of $88.56 for a basic gel pedicure. If I'm spending money, I want to feel good about my purchase/service. read more
