When I initially made my appointment I tried calling but there were no answers. I eventually texted…read moreand I asked what time they had open yesterday (which was weeks in advance) and they said 6:45pm. I arrived almost 30 minutes early but they were closing up. I waited outside then about 15 minutes before my appointment I started calling and texting because the front and back doors were locked. Even attaching my confirmation texts (one of which I received the day before) but didn't receive an answer. My appointment time came and I decided to wait until 5 minutes past it. Right before I was about to leave a young woman came to the door and appeared nervous. I informed her of the situation and showed her my confirmation by text. She called the person who was suppose to run my session but she was on the road doing a different appointment elsewhere. I said it wasn't a problem if I came back. But she insisted she could do it herself. It was still good but it was hard to enjoy it because I felt guilty this lady had to stay way past when she was supposed to leave. While close, I also didn't get the full 90 minutes. The lady also informed me as I was leaving that the place closed at 7pm and advised me to make my appointments earlier. But I clearly wanted to. This was the time I was given out of more availability I originally provided. Overall a decent experience but also very strange and I think it could've easily been avoided by just calling me in advance and let me know the original worker couldn't make the appointment anymore.

Once I was finally seated, the technician (AMY) made me feel rushed from the start, asking if I had already picked a color before I had even sat down. I explained the nail design I wanted, but she refused to do it, saying it was "too much" because it was late -- even though the delay was not my fault and I had made an appointment. I then asked for simple polka dots, which she agreed to, but when she struggled with the design she asked to see a picture. That was fine, but my 4-year-old daughter had my phone, and the technician impatiently motioned and said "the phone" to my child in a very rude, rushed manner. I found this extremely inappropriate. At that point I told her that if she was in such a rush, I didn't want the design anymore. The entire service felt uncomfortable and tense after that. When the builder gel was curing, it was stinging badly, and instead of checking on me professionally, the technician laughed/giggled, which felt dismissive and unkind. At checkout, I was given a free body spray, which honestly felt like an attempt to smooth things over instead of addressing the poor service. Overall, I felt rushed, disrespected, and uncomfortable. Being late, refusing services due to time constraints caused by the salon, rushing a client, and speaking impatiently to a child is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

It wasn't until I met a lovely young nurse who had lovely looking lashes. They were long and curled, and yet very natural. That's when I found out about Kimberly and her wonderful technique of applying lash extensions! Kimberly, who has been applying lashes since 2009, has a variety of styles from which to choose and will discuss your options and what will best accent your eyes. She, also, has implemented a new technique that allows you to get your lashes wet right after application. And these lashes last a long time! They can be maintained every four to six weeks. If you have a busy schedule, Kimberly will accommodate you--sometimes meeting clients in the very early morning hours! Now, the comments I get about my eyes are how beautiful they are! In fact, one young man mentioned he could "get lost" in my eyes! What a lovely thing to say--and it's all due to Kimberly and her lash application.
