Our entire reason for seeking out a water filtration company is that we received a notice from the county after having our water tested, that we had high levels of radon in our well water. Radon itself is not dangerous to drink but can cause lung cancer if you are inhaling it while showering or being near the steam of the hot water. Since we had already lived in the house for 10 years we were very concerned about the consequences of continuing to breathe the radon. We were going to go with a more reputable and experienced company, but a relative said that her friends husband was in the business and recommended we try them. At the time, Chris was the business owner. We met with him explaining our concerns and he promised up and down that he would be able to take care of it with a system that he installed. We paid the over $1,500 up front which I will never do again. It took over a month for him to install the system because of various excuses that he gave us. Some of which included him being late, the February temperature being too cold, his children having the flu, him breaking his clavicle, and the numerous times that he had to go out to his horse farm for one issue or another. We tried to be understanding but after a month I was at the end of my rope. We finally got the system up and going and the reverse osmosis faucet installed in the house. We were promised this would take care of the pH, the high mineral content, as well as the radon. I contacted him again numerous times telling him we were having green and blue staining in the tub and sending pictures, as well as orange and brown slimy residue in the toilets and the dog water bowl. Eventually he told me he was no longer the owner and had sold the business to Clyde. I have never been able to speak to Clyde and Chris communicated with us only via text. The last text I received was prior to Thanksgiving saying that he thought that he had an idea to fix our problem. This was 10 months into our contract and our problem was still not fixed. I did not reply to him as we had a family member in the hospital and we're about to travel for Thanksgiving. Also, I was tired of getting the runaround whenever we tried to schedule for him to come out. This past February (a year later) I decided to have the water retested as I was concerned we were not getting the treatment we were supposed to be getting. The company was very reputable and I made it clear that our only purpose was testing. They tested raw water samples from the toilet as well as water from the filtered faucet and water from the well. The results were that we still had excessively high radon, as well as other high levels of minerals and our pH was off. When I confronted Chris and Clyde about this I was told that they had tried to contact me in November and I never replied to the text so.it was my fault it was not taken care of. I told them our entire purpose for getting a system was to remove the high levels of radon which we told him in our first meeting and which he promised he could do. I asked for my money back and the equipment removed as the system did nothing to help us and in fact some of the levels of minerals were higher in the treated water versus the raw water! We ended up having to have a vapor trap installed specifically to remove the radon which cost us another $1,500 but this was from a very reputable company who treated us with professionalism. Natural H2O have refused to refund any money despite the system being worthless for us. I was treated rudely, our time was not valued at all, and we ended up wasting a large sum of money while our health was still in jeopardy. I am sure they will reply to this review with a million excuses and trying to blame us. Which of course a professional business owner would not do, but you are not dealing with professional business owners. We are contacting the Better Business Bureau. If you still go with them despite reading my review you have no one to blame but yourself.

Our geothermal heat pump installer advised us to get a quality treatment system or risk premature failure of expensive components. We'd already seen etching damage in the toilets and a water heater had failed. Brian came out and tested the water, then recommended a system that would take care of all of the problems and be very low maintenance. They were able to fit the system in our crawl space, which was a major relief to me. I didn't want all of the extra equipment and plumbing on the main floor. We've had the system two years now, and Brian just completed annual service on it again. Everything has performed flawlessly and we enjoy clean, soft, safe water throughout the home.
