I was outside of her delivery zone, so I arranged for my father to pick up in Glendale, as it was along the way for him. I went with Serendipity based on the reviews I'd read here and also the variety of flavors offered. I initially tried to order essentially a sampler of mini-cupcakes just to try as many flavors as I could, but that isn't offered unfortunately. Thankfully that was the only disappointing part of the whole experience. I settled on four dozen mini cupcakes for a birthday celebration. I chose (based on suggestions from Kristy) the vanilla raspberry, mocha, salted caramel chocolate and red velvet. Each one was perfect. Every cupcake was impeccably decorated and uniformly delicious. The frosting wasn't overly sweet and every cake was moist even straight out of the refrigerator. I will definitely order again. You definitely get your money's worth. I will also add that Kristy delivered to the minute of her estimated time. All around great experience from the first email to the last bite. We initially found Serendipity Cupcakes through the great reviews on Yelp (thanks!). We live in Northern California, but our wedding was in La Crescenta. Our main source of communication with Kristy was mainly through e-mail, but she made it such a breeze. We met up with her on one of our trips to LA to try out her various flavors. She even gave us additional small cupcakes to give our parents if we still were unsure of what we wanted. After choosing which flavors we wanted (lemon champagne, chocolate & red velvet), she even suggested us renting our her wooden display to match our backyard wedding theme which turned out great! I emailed Kristi on Wednesday for an event on Saturday. She responded within minutes and it was so easy to put my order in and set up delivery. She even asked what the birthday girl's favorite colors were so she could add some customization! The cupcakes themselves were delicious. The cake was moist and light and the frosting was yummy as well. She decorated the tops with some edible glitter and pink pearlized sprinkles which made them even more special.
