Could someone please advise on how you even got a cake out of this company? They are a supposed preferred vendor with Wedgewood Weddings. It's been 4 months of emails (they replied once saying 'give us a call Tue-Sat') then phone calls to a number that no one answers & you can't even leave a message. Cucamonga Cakery recently started curbside pick up. I follow them on Instagram and every week they've been posting items available for curbside pickup on the weekends. Some items include slices of cake, ice cream sandwiches, cookie sandwiches, and other yummy desserts like cream puffs, Eclairs and more. One day, I noticed that they posted about Ice Cream Sandwiches (with shortbread cookies) and since it's been so hot, that sounded amazing. Each order came with 2 ice cream sandwiches and were $12. There's a link to a form that you need to fill out so they know how many to make for that weekend. I ordered a 2-Pack of Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches and a 2-Pack of Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwiches. We could pick them up on Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm. When we arrived, we just told them my name and they came out to our car with our order. We paid via credit card and stayed in the car. The whole process was pretty simple and everyone wore a mask. The ice cream sandwiches themselves were pretty large and super thick. We both tried one of each and both were delicious. It might be pricey, but boy it was soooo good. My husband keeps asking me when we are going to get more so I've been on the look out for when they will have it again. My grandma has a favorite (vanilla poppy seed cake with lemon filling). They were able to do a little customization to create this for us. My husband and I had our cake done through Cucamonga Cakery for our wedding September 2023. Our Wedgewood Weddings venue gave us two cake vendors to choose from and we decided to go with Cucamonga Cakery. We had our meeting on 1/28/23 to choose flavors and design and appreciated the time the person took to explain each flavor we tried (lemon, neapolitan, champagne, chocolate, and another flavor I can't remember?). They had many flavors to choose from and for our 4 tier cake we ended up going with, from bottom to top: lemon with lemon filling, neapolitan with white chocolate mousse, almond champagne with raspberry almond preserve, and vanilla with blueberry preserve. We asked our wedding coordinator if they could make sure they gave us a small slice of each flavor to try and we absolutely loved each one. My personal favorite was the almond champagne with raspberry preserve. We had SO many compliments from our guests who kept asking where we got the cake from and how good it was. I always thought wedding cake was too sweet and didn't taste good, but now I know I am absolutely wrong after meeting Cucamonga Cakery. They are the preferred wedding cake vendor from my wedding venue. On our cake tasting, we tried 4 flavors (mimosa, chocolate, lemon and snickerdoodle), and they all tasted good. The lady who helped us design our wedding cake was friendly and she was so good at sketching the cake design. We were expected to serve about 170-180 people, so we went for 4-tier cake with mimosa, pink champagne, Neapolitan and snickerdoodle. After our final meeting with the venue, our total guest count was downgraded to about 130 people. The venue suggested to downgrade to 3-tier cake, but my husband wanted to keep 4-tier cake as he thought it would look nicely on photo and presentation.
