What a great find. Everything is perfect, starting with Kelly the manager to one of the better spots we have stayed at. Park itself is very well-kept. There is a stream right next to our site that you can take a nice stroll by. Our site number 25 was recommended by Kelly, it is long and wide and very spacious. Nice shade trees to keep us cool with great views of the foothills. Big plus, it was very quiet. The Wi-Fi worked well. We also had very good cell service which is odd for AT&T. I highly recommend this park, also it's very close to the sequoia national Park. We camped in a 39" fifth wheel. read more

This campground was almost perfect - great riverfront campsites with lots of shade. One family in our group of four trailers, did not have a shaded spot, which is tough in mid-90 degree weather. We loved the swimming hole, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the WiFi did not work while we were there. I have AT&T so it was not that big of a deal, but the other members of our group were on other carriers. read more

Stayed here 9/2/16 to 9/5/16. Site # 6. The ranch is nice, especially if you can get the sites near the river. The staff were very friendly. Some of the sites have very little or no shade so summer camping may be a little rough. This is lower foothills so temps in the 90's and even triple digits are possible. The AC on our trailer ran most of the day Friday and Saturday. There is a short trail to a swimming area in the river which the kids loved. I would say this is a nice jumping off point for the National Park or the lake. read more

What a friendly place! Our plans changed mid way through a 10 day trip and we showed up at 9pm a day early without a reservation for that night. Although the office was closed, they have a wonderful whiteboard system out front that shows the available spaces. Just take an appropriate space and check in the morning! Such a straight forward and easy system - it was great! The staff could not have been any friendlier. They got us checked in the morning, suggested a shadier spot, and were over the top helpful. We got a shuttle reservation in the morning and got into Sequoia. We ended up leaving a day early ( having gotten there a day early) and they refunded our last day. Pros: incredibly sweet, helpful and kind staff. Proximity to Sequoia National Park/park shuttle. Shady spots near the river were beautiful. Lots of trees. Although it was really crowded the first night, everyone was really quiet after 10 - very peaceful and calm. Place was very well kept up and very clean. Clearly the owners take great pride in the park. When I was in the office, someone mentioned they tried to use Canadian quarters for the shower the night before and it didn't work. The owner gave the back their quarters, and gave them some U.S. Quarters so they could take a shower. Very kind owners. Cons: one bathroom that was pretty far away (not a big problem in our RV.) *Highly recommended, we would absolutely stay here again*. Absolutely beautiful! The facility is clean and the owners are very accommodating. My kids particularly enjoyed the river behind our trailer. I recommend staying until Monday so you can get the nice quiet space when all the travelers leave on Sunday. read more

Our first time renting an RV (24') and this was a great place to start! We had spot 54 by the river. It was a short walk to the swimming hole and my kids loved it. Bullfrogs and tadpoles and woodpeckers everywhere! We had plenty of room but it looked like the spots one row over were right next to each other-our spot was parallel to the river. We didn't use the facilities at all, we didn't need to. Only problem was Verizon doesn't work in Sequioa so we got to the campsite too late to check in and left too early the next morning for our tour of Sequoia to check in and they thought we never showed up. I guess there's a way to check in at the bulletin board out front but we didn't figure that out until later. Overall a great place to stay. read more

We stayed at this campground in July 2016. It's very spacious, lots of shade, and close to an entrance to Sequoia National Park. The "swimming hole" (in the river that runs along the back of the campground) is awesome and is the main reason I'd return. No problems with loud noise. Didn't use bathroom/shower facilities so I don't know how clean they are. I took off stars due to the Wi-Fi - they advertise it, but it didn't work during our stay, even when my son walked up to the office. Guests in the campsites near us had the same problem. Also, we were handed a boil notice for drinking and cooking water when we pulled in - would have appreciated advance notice about that, especially as we had reservations Finally, our "riverside" site was not actually next to the river; it was next to a ditch with the river about 200 feet beyond. read more

This is a great RV park! We really enjoyed our stay. We were in a creek front site #50 and it is well worth the extra price. A babbling creek and an open fire pit are great amenities. The site was relatively easy to back in with our 36 foot 5th wheel and the site was level. The aisles are just right but not to much give. The only reason we ranked the park a 4 instead of 5 is due to the lack of a dog park or run. Our 3 small dogs really enjoy running and meeting other dogs. But there are plenty of walking trails to exercise your pup. read more

My husband and I needed a little get away for the stress in Los Angeles! I booked a just a couple weeks before we arrived. And their very busy and booked. The website reservation system is a little difficult to maneuver but the staff is amazing on the the phone to accommodate your request! I had a reservation for 2 nights with hook ups and 3 nights dry camping. But they told me to check in every day when I was there to see if they would get a cancellation for a hookup spot. The campground is away from busy streets. North fork Drive. is a nice road to go bike riding. The creek at camp is nice and beautiful! Just enough to put your feet in and cool off! I do know lots of people like the swimming hole! We had a great stay and will be back when it gets cooler! Staff as professional! read more

Looking for a relaxing spring break getaway, my husband and I were contemplating renting an RV to drive into the foothills of the Sierra Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP area. We looked for a place to camp, and came across Sequoia Ranch, and as I was booking the campsite, I noticed at the bottom of their web page information about renting a trailer right there on the spot. This turned out to be an excellent idea. Tim, the manager of the park, will put the trailer wherever you want it. We had it right on the river and bathed in the sound of running water and frogs. Early mornings were filled with bird song as well. Our dog had tons of fun swimming in the river, I enjoyed birdwatching and my husband enjoyed a morning of fishing (nothing biting that day...) The trailer was comfortable and clean and definitely worth every penny of the $50 winter rate we paid per day. I only hesitate to write such a glowing review because I want to keep this secret all to ourselves! Tim and Laura are wonderful camp hosts, and all the other campers we met (only a handful midweek this time of year) were considerate and friendly. The campground is located on the North Fork road, so I imagine that even in the peak of summer, highway noise would be minimum. It was nonexistent for this trip, which was a most welcome part of being there. We are looking forward to going back soon! read more

We really enjoyed the swimming hole. The water is moving enough to keep it clean but not too fast to feel like your kids are getting swept away. The staff at the RV ranch was also very helpful and responded promptly to any request. There are some gravel drive ways so I think we should have brought the kids bikes instead of scooters. read more

We loved this spot. Our site was right on the river, quiet at night, nice staff and convenient location to the park esp. since the tour company we booked picked us up and dropped us off. We had only stayed at one other RV park which was like being in a giant parking lot, but this felt like camping should be. The sites are a bit close together and some spots don't have much shade so be prepared. Also, there really isn't any store on site, so if you need provisions it is easy to stop first on your way into town- it is 2.2 mi from the RV park. Dog friendly but required to be on leash. There is also a swimming hole but we did not go in-water cold but felt great to put your feet in. read more

Started coming here about 3 years ago and wish I would have found it 30 years ago. This place is the best kept secret in the area. Right on the banks of Mankins Creek that feeds into the Kaweah River a mile or so down stream. Full hook ups, cable, WiFi, back in and pull through sites, dry camping sites, whatever you need, they have. The staff is great and just about every site is shaded. We come with 5 to 10 other couples and always have an awesome time. read more

Excellent park, had one of our best experiences ever! This park is excellent for any nature lover and very convenient to Sequoia National park. We found it very scenic, especially creekside so reviews that say it is not too pretty a mystery to us. We came up the Friday before Labor day during a serious heat wave. 50amp hook up pull-through spot made setup easy and everything worked properly and site was very level and well-maintained. Check in after hours by finding your name on the info board on the road outside the office. Saturday was 104 and we spent the entire day sitting in the creek with our camping neighbors in the shade and didn't suffer a bit. Bring a raft and you will be golden! Many people left with the heat since sitting in the site outside was unbearable but not anything due to campground issues. We were on the far right side where the sites are roomier in site 46 which is super roomy! The other side of park close to swimming hole is very tight and close together. The wi-fi was so great we could stream on our Fire-Stick Netflix with no problem. Very convenient to amenties in Three Rivers which were very plentiful. Loved this place and made great friends and memories! read more

The only reason that we are not rating 5 stars+ is because of limited number of RV sites with 50 amp service. This really isn't a problem until temps get into the 90s. Great river front sites. We just did a trip with 14 motor homes from our boat club and we have never seen a more friendly and accommodating staff. Special thanks to Lori. She was very helpful. Park is clean with large sites. Many we're fully shaded. Wi fi and cable worked perfect. read more

We stayed at this park as a base for visiting Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. Easy drive to the gate for Sequoia each day. Contrary to another post, I wouldn't say this was a dump! We found the staff very friendly upon check in and helpful with questions I asked about the local area. We stayed for 3 nights and felt that the guests were respectful of the quiet hours. This made for a quiet night's sleep! This park is off the highway a ways, so no highway noise. Seemed like a family friendly place and good for those with pets. RV sites were roomy and relatively level. Both are important as our 5th wheel RV has three slide outs. We did not have occasion to use the laundry or the bath house, so cannot comment on them at all. We would absolutely stay here again! read more

If you have an RV that has full hookup capability then this place is great. We were in a tent trailer and needed to use the campground facilities. They are located a bit away from the sites so that was a bit of an inconvenience. The sites on the river are very choice and have great views and accessibility to the river for tubing. The swimming hole is a nice touch and we used it daily. Access to Sequoia National Park was about 15 minutes away. Not bad at all. We will be back. read more

This is a beautiful RV Park. We went in February so heat was not an issue. It was full one night (with really friendly people) and the last night we practically had the place to ourselves which was a real treat. We were right on the river which is the way to do it. Beautiful! read more

What a wonderful get away! You can either tent camp or RV. Close to many activities & Sequoia National Park. In the summer, bring your bathing suits to jump in the swimming hole or fishing pole to relax on the grassy banks. Wi-fi for AT&T is good. Staff very friendly. Great amenities. Nice place to visit Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon still expect to drive and hour to get to Giant Forest depending on traffic in park. Park has nice swimming hole for kids. We had spot #31 no one to see when you walk out front door and spot is shaded the whole day. Park is quite and well maintained some of the complaints about park seem kind of tedious after all you are camping and not at Hilton. Internet works better if you keep logging in and out. We would definitely stay again if we come out this way. Wish they had more washers and dryers. read more

Just spent 6 days at this campground, all in all the amenities are nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We made reservations at the last minute so could only get a site with water and electric hook-ups, paid $8.00 to have staff empty our tanks, great to have this service available. We are transitioning from tent camping to an RV so the noise at night was a little more than we are use to because of the close proximity of the sites, can't have it all! We would definitely return to this campground. read more

Stayed in Space 35. Was told that it was shaded but not so when I arrived. Office is only open during the day (not past 3 PM on some days). No phone # provided for security. No store (stores approx. 2 miles away). Swimming hole (no pool) had dog droppings on edge. Only 1 bathroom on the property supplemented by port-a-potties throughout. Walked passed properties covered in dog droppings on the way to the bathroom. Had to complain to have the property cleaned. Bathroom has scum growing on the wall in men's bathroom. Only 2 stalls in each bathroom. Gave an overall rating of C b/c kids loved swimming hole & property was close to Sequoia (approx. 8 miles from South entrance). read more

We liked this place. It was very quiet. Somewhat close to Sequoia National. We couldn't camp in Sequoia because of the size of our RV so this was what we chose based on reviews. The bathrooms were clean but you have to pay for showers which we didn't need. Laundry facilities were reasonable and WiFi worked great. Absolutely no phone service though but you also have cable. The place is on a river and there is a swimming hole to swim in which kids would love (not me). I would come back. read more

We had a reservation at a KOA that didn't work out and managed to make an online reservation with Sequoia RV Ranch. It was nearly dark when we arrived, the office was closed and we weren't familiar with their system so we pulled into a site that wasn't occupied and parked for the night intending on going to the office in the morning. We had a bit of battery trouble so my husband had to go to town first thing in the a.m. The office staff was very friendly when he explained our dilemma, unfortunately, we were parked on a site that was already promised to another couple. She wasn't as understanding or kind as the staff was but you can't win'em all. The battery was replaced, we moved to our site and due to our being on someone else's site, we ended up having to pay an extra night's stay to make it right. The campground is very nice, the staff is friendly, it's close to the parks and we had a very nice stay there. I'd definitely go there again, this time, knowing to look at the dry erase board that's posted showing who's assigned to what site! read more

I stayed here 3/12/17 for 5 nights. Have been coming to Sequoia Ranch for 10 yrs. Some sites are right next to river, others close & when river running good then can pretty much hear it when it is quiet at night through out the park. Have never been there when there was any kind of disturbance except this time some guy was "roaring loudly" one night, probably too much beer. LOL They do post a number to call if necessary. ATT & Consumer Cellular phones work great. WIFI is good. But cable is very limited. But not a problem since I read & watch DVD movies when by myself, if daughter goes we play cards sometimes but she reads also. It is just a time for us to kick back & relax. Kids can ride bikes (next time will take my bike) & have good time at swimming hole. Only bad thing is bring someone with muscle who can open the trash bin for you. LOL I am 74 yrs old & feel very safe there. All the employees I have ever met were great. The main lady in ofc makes me feel good as she remembers me whenever I call. They do a good job keeping the park neat & clean. Each space has a fire ring & table & most sites have shade. Yes, summers are hot but park has no control over that. LOL Just come & kick back & relax! read more

My husband and I spent Memorial weekend at Sequoia RV Ranch with our 2 dogs. The ranch is conveniently located close to Sequoia National Park. Look for the sign, it's easy to pass. We dry camped and had a great site which was recommended when the reservation was made. My husband drove 2 stakes into the ground fairly easily to have our boys tied on 15' cables since dogs need to be leashed at all times. We were able to fill our fresh water at the ranch and dump before we left. Dumping was a little tight and my husband was worried about blocking other campers, but it worked out. The only complaint we had was the large group across from us (3 RV's with multiple families in each). Large group=loud music + lots of kids + lots of yelling and shouting, but it's not like that was the ranch's fault. It was nice and peaceful before they got there though. Yes, I recommend this place. Yes, I'd like to go there again. FYI - we didn't know, but dogs are not allowed in Sequoia National Park unless they're in the car. Now we know. read more

My husband and I stayed here in our new 40 ft. motorhome as part of our honeymoon vacation. We stayed here in mid October 2012. We rented a car in Visalia (an easy and scenic 30 mile drive from Sequoia RV Ranch) and were able to explore beautiful Sequoia and Kings Canyon. We arrived about 6pm on a Monday and picked up our site information from the bulletin board outside the office. The place was peacefully quiet and beautiful. All the hookups were easy access. Wifi worked great. Cable tv connection also was a plus considering that our satellite didn't work because of the tree/hill cover. The river nearby was still running quite nicely. It was so wonderful to wake up every morning to the sound of birds singing, woodpeckers, and the river running. We also liked the little town of Three Rivers - it has lots of restaurants and markets nearby to shop at if you have a car to get around (within 2 to 5 miles away). This is an excellent/easy place to get in and out of and setup camp to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon. We had such a great time we decided to stay an extra day. We can't wait to come back. Oh, and I can't forget to thank Tim in the office for all his excellent tips for getting around Sequoia/Kings Canyon. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back.
