There is lots of wildlife and friendly people. This is definitely my favorite place to visit and since I am an owner, I can visit 182 days a year. I loved to walk around the lake, ride one of our 25 horses, hang out with my Ranch friends and family at my RV or the Double "R" Restaurant & Saloon. The bands are great. I wish I could sing because they have a state-of-the-art Karaoke system that gets everyone up and dancing. The lake is full of fish, the birds are singing, and the bullfrogs are croaking. Its serene and surreal. Come and see for yourself. You will also want to become an owner.

Restrooms are always clean, you have free showers to use and the camp grounds are immaculate. The last few years the improvements just keep on coming. The tennis court looks good enough, with a basket ball hoop at one end. They have lovely pavillion type structures at the side of the lake with a lovely view of the mountains. The location is very easy to find, and they provide clear, exact driving directions. You can see the big board right from the road, which makes it even easier to locate. The park is very neat and clean, with large pull-through RV spaces that make parking stress-free. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is very calm and quiet. The owner is very responsive and available 24 hours, which made us feel well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this RV park.

Went to plug in my Nema 1450 Shore power cord and the pedal outlet was melted. Let the check in lady girl know and quickly two maintenance guys came out for a look see. I told them exactly what needed to be replaced and the part name. The younger one said he will call an electrician to come take a look. I said, tell him to bring a Nema 1450 outlet and replace it, as it's nothing to look at but just replace it already. Now mind you we are already set up and can't plug in safely. They "called the owner" and said the electrician can come tomorrow and that's just not gonna work for me. I asked where is the closest hardware store and again the younger one said "it's probably closed" he's not helpful and he's a minimum effort kinda guy. I called ace hardware and they are open for another 1-2 hrs. Had the counter make sure the part is in and had it ready for pick up. The older one tried to put it in, not having any experience with this type of electrical work. I ended doing it for him as I'm a 30+ year electrician. I may have saved his life - . The office offered a $20 credit. and got them to do $50...... The End

Traveling home wanted to check out a few rv parks. We discovered this place is actually on the…read morenaval base. We explained to the guard we were just checking the rv park out. The guard wasn't sure we could stay there because my husband isn't retired military so our adventure began. Found the park. It is nice and someplace we would stay. Caution! After getting lost on the base and our encounter with a different guard station we finally found where to go to get a base permit. So, unless you are active military or retired you can't stay here.

They may have had dirt sites in the past but they're all weeds, stickers, and those annoying foxtails everywhere. Most people there live there, you have some nice helpful people and our neighbors who got drunk and were fighting loud. We had a drunk guy drive up and ask us if we have beer and if we wanna drink with him. Two residents asked us for cigarettes. The fire bricks are filled with weeds, we cleaned ours out but you need your own rack. We had the neighbors kitten not leave our site. It climbed up our screen door and the neighbor thought it was cute so we dealt with that all weekend. The camp host was very nice, she makes your stay pleasant. She's probably the best thing about that rv park. The rates are low and if you're wanting to go to the lake to fish, this is a great place to stay. We would go back 100% but bring a rake and our propane fire pit/grill for cooking and s'mores.
