Little bridge over a stream ( there is also catch and release fishing here which is nice for the kiddos and fam.)

Me and my husband planned ahead and came to check this place out before staying here for a work project and miss Petra and Denny go above and beyond to help. He had showed us around and let us know our spot ahead of time making it super easy for when we did arrive and even held the spot for when we arrived as we arrived a bit later than expected. So I'd say, Super friendly management that goes above and beyond, clean and beautiful grassy areas, cute little dog park, outdoor games and nice park/ area for kids to play. I also enjoy using the laundry room for bigger loads as rv washers are a bit smaller. Aside from there being some fire ants and some trees but will probably nice for shade from the sun, I have no complaints and I'm glad I found this gem while here in the Fresno ish area, it's a bit hard. Coming from the cold, I am enjoying the sunshine here it's beautiful, would totally recommend to other friends and Individuals.

A very nice countryside campground right off the 180 between Fresno and Kings Canyon. We had site 120 which is creekside and very pleasant. No trees overhead which is our choice to minimize cleanup on the RV. We were here in March 2022 and the creek was full of croaking frogs and a pair of beavers swam through the stream every night. Make sure you bring LOTS of bug spray! And if you do get bitten, have the Bug Bite Thing at the ready! I give it 4 instead of 5 stars for two things. One is that the sites are not paved so be careful your RV doesn't sink into the ground. It was impossible to get completely level, even using The Big Toe system with blocks underneath them. Also there is the constant Highway sound. You are about 30 min from Fresno/Clovis and it's nice to get that country / nature feeling after a day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again. Didn't check out the bathrooms as we have our own, and the on-site management was very helpful and nice.

My family stayed here for a week while checking out the local area (Shaver Lake, Yosemite, Sequoia/Kings Canyon). Not expecting a heat wave, I booked a 30 amp spot (and could only run 1 AC in a 38 foot trailer). On our second day the maintenance crew checked in on us to make sure we were OK in the heat with the 30 amp spot. We were dying!! The maintenance crew and the manager Mark were very kind and moved us to a shaded 50 amp spot. This impressed us immensely and proves they go above and beyond for their guests. The camp ground is small, but packs a punch with activities including: a playground, bocce ball, horse shoes, pond, creek, fishing, and basketball hoop. The Internet was enough to cover our needs and we were able to stream movies. If your looking for a country feel park that is close to a lot of attractions I would recommend you stay here.

This is the office lawn with Christmas decorations. They had the cutest little set up with music for the holiday.

Best little park! Just outside of Fresno, really the drive isn't that bad. So much green grass, great little dog park, nice park for the kids. Good laundry room. The owners are super friendly and sweet. They take great care of the place and it's guests. We have stayed long term for 4 months and love it. Quiet and clean.

We got a nice spot along the creek. It was a quiet and peaceful time. But be sure to bring bug spray as the bugs do come out (more so some days then others). The bathrooms were closed due to Covid. The owner/host was very nice and responsive. There is a nice dog park and fishing pond. Hook ups worked well. Some of the spots are much smaller than others. Overall, we did enjoy our experience at this RV Park.

I am just getting around to write this review about our stay in your park. We were traveling to California from United Kingdom with our goal being to visit Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks this September. Your RV park was in close proximity to both National Parks including Kings Canyon National Park. The office staff was very friendly and helpful with points of interest in the area and have great recommendations on the nearby restaurants. Schoolhouse restaurant was our favorite. The park is well kept and peaceful. We would definitely return to your park on our next trip back to California. Cheers!

After staying for nine days we found out that you had to become an escapee's member and the cost was $49. To join for one year. The park refunded this in a free night credit. While staying here we met the park manager and took a tour after finding out they are a 55+ members park. After reviewing the park information and seeing what a beautiful park this was we decided to make this our home base. We travel to many places after retirement but found that we needed a place to hang out hat for Dr. appointments, and staying connected with our family in the Central Valley. We bought in and picked our site. The unique nature of living here is that the members here all volunteer to help keep cost down to run the park. This gave us a sense of ownership and community. We volunteer 3 days per week for approximately 4 hours per day and join in on special events to help set up or organize events that are for the members. It's not like having a job but more like going to hang out with folks that have the same interests. There is constantly an event going on weather you like to play cards, pool, dominoes, darts, working out , or outdoor activities like pickle ball or mini golf the fun is endless. This amazing place has beautiful views of the Sierra foothills and there's even a casino across the mountain. Becoming a member here has given us a place to call home in between our travels and our site remains ours when we're in the park. If you're thinking of becoming a full timer or if you're looking for a great place to glamp, this is the place!

Awareness: Wanting to get my rig out and do some camping…read more The perfect opportunity weekend arose when my daughter decided to visit Disneyland with her boyfriend for her birthday weekend. In other words. The wife, dog and I were free to travel without guests. I chose Naval Air Station Lemoore as our destination for its close proximity, low park fee and the security of being on a naval base. Narrative: This was our first time visiting NAS Lemoore and its RV Park so, not wanting to arrive to any surprises, I did what research I could before our trip. Unfortunately, the Youtube videos of the park were over six years old and didn't provide any information such as directions from the bases main gate or, where to find space numbers once at the park. There was also little to no reviews on any of the RV websites or forum boards to help. But after contacting the bases Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) office, who oversee the RV park. I was able to look at the old Youtube footage and piece together where our space (number 3) was actually located once we arrived. Scene: The RV park is located on the housing side of the base. The RV sites are extremely wide concrete slabs but, the sites are only about 40 feet long. Not enough room to park your Truck or car on the side of your RV but, just enough to park in front of it. Each site comes with 50/30 amp hook-ups. Water. Sewer and cable ready. Additionally, each site has its own metal picnic table. Trash can and a BBQ pit. Open fires from a fire pit are not allowed unless your pit has an arrester. Gas fire pits are okay to use. The park also has a Mens / Womens restroom and, two FREE washer and dryer's for use. Across the street from the RV park is a McDonalds. And to the left of the RV park entrance is a nice brewery / restaurant named Spuds. Adjacent to the RV park is a golf driving range. The outdoor aquatic center and a fenced in dog park with a separate are in the park for smaller dogs weighing 15 pounds or less. Plenty of dog "potty" bags are available trough the dog park. Evidence: Overall, this RV park is super nice and the price we paid for two full nights was $24 dollars. There are a few things you should know before you decide to visit this park though. - When making reservations. Call the MWR office directly. Going through the DOD Lodging website can only make the reservations but, won't be able to tell you your space number. - When you call the MWR office to make your reservations. Be sure to ask what space number you'll have. Your email conformation will NOT have this information. - When arriving at the bases gate. Do NOT use the truck gate. Stay in the right hand lane through the main gate. This is the same for your exit off the base with you RV. The exit looks light (and it is) but, going slow and using the left exit lane may be your only option if leaving on a weekend or holiday. The truck gate is not open on weekends or holidays. - If you drive or pull with a Diesel Truck. The NEX gas station has diesel fuel but, its only located on the island next to the Exchange. - Most of the RV park spaces are currently occupied by long term campers or active military waiting for housing. Expect to see and possibly hear dogs from your neighbors sites. - I was told by the resident manager (Bill) this park will be closing on March 1, 2022 and was expected to be closed for several months while the park is refurbished and expanded. Be sure to call MWR well in advance to see if the park is accepting reservations. Recommendation(s): NAS Lemoore's RV Campground is extremely nice. The amenities can't be beat nor can the price. If you find yourself in the Central Valley of California. Have access to the installation and want to camp and relax cheap, this is your place.
