Visited on more than one occasion. My last visit was June 2025. Our RV spot was perfect. My discontent was due to the lack of hygiene in the bathrooms. They are not cleaned and disinfected throughout the day. There's a sign inside the bathrooms telling the customer to call for service The staff were unresponsive to my concern. The store /office is only open from 10;00-4:00pm, requiring customer to wait till the next day to address issues The pool is open from 10am-10pm Great hours but be advised once the sun goes down there is minimal light There is ample places to sit by the pool and a few cabanas. read more

We stayed here the last weekend of June, to avoid driving to Yosemite 2x in a weekend for our boys summer camp. We stayed in cabin 54 The pictures on the website look very well maintained and clean. Yet in person it was very unkept. The pool was slightly green, and Park had a few broken pieces, and a ton of weeds. I am so glad we didn't bring our golden doodle, because the dog park was dirt and weeks, along with our cabin area. We arrived an hour and a half before check in, we were told by the lady at the front desk that our cabin was a priority, however after an hour of waiting we had to leave to go pick up our son, we were told at 2pm that they were just need to add linens to our cabin and it will be ready, but we had to go. Check in time is 3pm. When we arrived back to the park at 4:30pm, we were told that the staff was still putting linens in our cabin. We couldn't check in until 5pm... 2 hours after their check in time. When I booked this cabin, I specifically asked the staff if the beds came with linens, or if we had to bring our own. I was told that this is similar to a hotel and all lines are provided. Grated after we checked in the office closed. We didn't realize till bed time that both bunks up stairs, and the pull out bed and no linens!! I tried calling the after hours number, only to be forwarded to voicemail. We had dirty dishes in the cabinets, old spices with spice residue in the cabinet, let over open bag of ice in the freezer, a sock in bedroom drawer. The TV WiFi wasn't working, dusty and dirty fans in the bathroom and the bedroom. AC unit in the living room wasn't working. The bedroom had 2 bedside lamps, one with a busted lamp shade and the other missing completely. The bedroom light, was flickering, and then shutting completely off, we had concerns of a shortage, but was told it was the light bulbs. The loft carpet smelt like piss. Siding coming off the staircase. Kitchen chandelier was hanging up by a plastic shoe hook. Just felt really dingy and dirty after seeing things. For the price it definitely wasn't worth it: the workers were semi helpful, and refunded me a night. read more

First time staying here at this RV Resort ! Great time Great People! Love the girls up front! Super family friendly . The guy who runs it as super chill has a whole track set up for rc cars racing which my son absolutely just loved! Had a great time would def come back and totally recommend this place !!! This park is a good location if you want to go to Yosemite or Bass Lake yes still a drive. The park could use updating. The dog park is just weeds not grass but if you have a small dog you'll end up with stickers in their fur plus all the foxtails could be an issue. Pool is nice. There is a side patio on the back of the pool/ check in area... could be so nice but all the chairs are broken. Park is clean meaning no trash on the grounds and does have a laundry facility. 2.00 to wash and 2.00 to dry. Only four working at the time though. Felt safe and it was quiet at night. Had a great site with a table and patio area which was nice. Umbrella was broken though. But overall I really hope they update the place with some grass and or make the price reflect the gravel and weeds that cover the grounds. WiFi is awful make sure you have your own hotspot. Water pressure was good where we were. read more

Would not recommend. Nothing "wrong" with it, but not a welcoming place to stay. Lots of permanent residents with broken down junk lying around. Long distance from Yosemite south entrance. Yosemite is big and I can't fault their location, but we spent over 4 hours driving into and out of the park. We reserved 2 nights, but forfeited the second night due to inconvenience. We arrived early and had to pay a fee to drop our camper. I'm sure we agreed to this in fine print, but campground wasn't even a quarter full (even at night). Spots were difficult to get into due to excess junk. Laundry was fine. Pool nice, but no kids or families around. Just didn't have a vacation campground feel. There usage of the word resort is misleading. Would not return. read more

Our "campsite" was $100 a night for nothing. No trees, no fire ring, the spot was not level and if we needed to shower or use the restroom it was way over on the other side of the park. There is no grass anywhere, only gravel and stickers that my dog was covered in when we left the "dog park". This place is ridiculously overpriced. Granted, maybe in season, the pool (no Jacuzzi) would add slightly more value. No water pressure! read more

We have a 40-foot Phaeton. I can't recommend this park for such vehicle. Very steep incline at entry to sites. Many, many permanent residents. Terrible pull through sites. Very narrow, trees are too wide. Extremely unleveled lot. Had to move to the next space, which wasn't much better. Still could not level. Called the office twice, no answer. There's barely any graveled on the sites, muddy, garbage dumpsters were overflowing, and another steep incline to exit the park. Stay elsewhere. read more

Do not recommend! The amenities are horrible, No ice our entire 5 days, no drinks or much of anything in the office store, no maps of Yosemite or anyone that could help answer questions! It's very hot and dusty here with minimal shade due to all the trees being scrub oaks! POOL disgusting murky, oily and dirt filled bottom every day, when mentioned to the girls at front desk they said "huh it's cleaned every morning we don't understand" GARBAGE CANS overflowing...enough said! read more

This place was great. We had cabin 56 which sits on a little hill with a view of the campground. It wasn't busy the weekend we went which was a nice touch because it was quiet on our end. The staff was very friendly from the time we checked in to the end. The cabin seems pretty new so with the kitchen appliances. There is a market about a mile a way ( turn left when you exit mile down the road on the right near gas station) they have pretty much everything if you forget something. Swimming pool is nice and big the only thing it's not heated. They have a nice playground for the little ones. Both places are near the front office. Will recommend. Wi-Fi is a bust just a heads up. read more

Wow! Where to start since I can't give negative stars. Knowing that our drive was going to be 5-7 hours, we wanted to pick a place that was close to Yosemite, but not so close that you were paying for it through the nose. We looked around some online to find a nice place to land. when we arrived oh my gosh, not even like the pictures. Complete misrepresentation on the website. There were numerous pictures of pine trees, green pine trees covering into the distance... There were no pine trees anywhere near there. The property is covered with oak and scrub oak and dead grasses everywhere. This was on a trip in late October. we paid close to $580 to be there for four nights. Tree, branches and bush branches sticking out just far enough to scratch the sides of your unit if you're not very careful. Many full-time residents there, with junk out in their front "yard" area. Motorcycle being worked on, junk stored all over the place. It was like pulling into a trailer park and setting up camp. Very disappointing. We usually at the end of our day like to sit out in our chairs and drink coffee but we just stayed in our trailer. there truly was no view. Book closer to the park entrance and pay the price. Make sure that you book early so that you can get a good RV park. Happy camping! read more

With so many campgrounds closed or way over crowded due to covid this summer, we lucked out and found this great campground in Coarsegold. It was about 1 1/2 drive into the south entrance of Yosemite, 20 min drive to Bass Lake for fun boating, 15 min drive to the Sugarpine railroad and 20 min drive to the Nelder Grove to hike. We had awesome sites on a corner, some sites were very close together for the lager rigs. Awesome newer pool area which was a reprieve from the 100+ temperature we had in June! Nice restroom/shower facilities also if needed. Would have been nice If the sites were raked over a bit to clean up from precious user but overall a great campground. Pretty hilly so hard for kids to ride around too much and a nice hike uphill to the pool from the lower sites. I'd definitely come here again to be able to enjoy the nearby areas! read more

It's an ok place. It was too hot. I wish that they would advertise the amenities that you get in the cabins is pretty much misleading.

We were very disappointed in this Campgound. Paid $82 for a RV-Delux-PullThru site. The site was not worthy of the cost. It was gravel no grass which was in between a couple of pin-oak trees. . Since we came in after hours there was a site map outside with our name on it which was ok.. but the directions to the site were not clear. The person who drew the directions marked over the street name and had us going onto the site the wrong way. Also their street signs were not pointing in the correct direction. Which made it very confusing. Had to stay a second night because our friend had a mechanical problem. we were charged $93 for the second night. Only good note was the outside maintenance staff were very friendly and helpful in trying to assist our friend with getting his slides in. read more

If this place was 70 bucks a night for the deluxe plus, I might rate it higher but when you pay $100+ a night you should get more. The sites are all dirt which in of itself isn't terrible but the layout is not great. The bathrooms aren't well kept and the sewer dump is like 3 or 4 inches off the ground. Even with a sewer hose support, it was impossible to drain my sewer without disconnecting the line every time and elevating it on my own. Aside from the rec room and pool area, there isn't anything nice to write about this place. read more

I complained to one of the employees about the terrible WIFI and power and he said if you don't like it you can leave. I told him I would gladly leave if you would give me a refund. Our absolute favorite rv park in the thousand trails system. The road is a beast but just take your time and go slow. The staff here goes above and beyond to maintain the park and make sure everyone feels welcome. No internet, so hang out with your family, play mini golf, frolic in the river, or play at the lodge. We've gone twice this year and I can't wait to go again. Plan over a week so you can enjoy Yosemite and have time to just hang out and enjoy the rv park. read more

We stayed here for 4 nights in o e of the cozy cabins for 2. The cabin was gorgeous, clean and very cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the extra blanket was perfect for the cold nights. The cabin has a dinning table perfect to have breakfast before heading to our hikes. We had everything we needed for our stay and it was very convenient to the park entrances and places we wanted to visit. They have a cute pet area with lamas. read more

Customer service is fantastic, our sewer hook up was broken. The maintenance guy was so kind and tried to fix it but was unable. We were offered another site but we were fine just waiting to dump at another site on our way out. On our way home we got a call and a refund was issued because of inconvenience. Such nice people. DO NOT STAY HERE it's very dry they don't take care of the park we had to clean our own site once we backed in they was dog poop dry leaves tall dead grass and trash everywhere. They don't clean the laundry room I never saw them go into the restrooms/showers to clean them. I did shower there twice the floors get really wet but they are big showers lots room no shower curtains I'm very disappointed I used to live in Coarsegold for 18 years and KOA use to own the Park and it was always so green and pretty well cared for but not anymore. If you where to have a campfire I'm sure a fire would start up from Amber's very quickly it's people like this that cause fires by not caring. The park has Cabins and Yurks also tent cabins when we arrived there was only a few RVs we stayed a week then move they are extremely overpriced $138 a night is very expensive for a RV park yes the pool is big and inviting but I didn't use it the playground is very close to the main highway there is no fence around it all.. The store had mainly souvenirs and could've used more food items instead. The lady behind the counter was very rude i'm not sure if at all family that lives there on the property and works thee it seems to be. There also are people living in RVs there are a lot of things outside there trailer but looked clean.. There is a lot of squirrels everywhere which that is nature you're in the mountains but no excuse for so many holes be careful walking around. They use big size Chucks of broken granite rocks in the driveways that hurt your feet even with shoes on. The recreation room was completely closed as well as the lobby area in back of the store. The Pet area is just awful full of dead leaves hard dirt and few dead plants and dry weeds. The roads are very confusing when driving in you must drive all the way around . So disappointed in this RV Park. read more

We made these reservations in January. Three big rigs wanting to see the sites. When we arrived they tried to put us in an area that is already on a slope and hill. If we had accepted these sites we would have high centered our motorhome trying to get out. The next places were better but in a hole and full of dirt and weeds. They say its all natural but don't believe it. No gravel to speak of. The weeds are cat tails that burrow their way into your dogs ears requiring surgery to get them out. They should not accept large 5th wheels or motorhomes that are 40 plus feet. There were folks having to navigate for a long time just to get in the site. Also, its a long drive to Yosemite from this place making it a long long day and then you don't get to see anything in the amount of time you have there. Very disappointing. There are water restrictions in the summer in California, but this place was very run down and wifi and cable are spotty. On the upside, the pool is beautiful.. This place is expensive and should not be called a resort. They show you all the areas of grass on the website but thats not what you see in the summer. read more

Friendly, welcoming park. Amenities are nice, due to COVID we didn't use pool. We had a very nice spot, #98 under a tree..shade was welcomed as it was very hot. Great place to take walks and enjoy the scenery. We thought we would have a nice quiet visit, but had neighbors with 3 barking dogs who basically did very little to keep them quiet. It was sad to see people who were enjoying a walk with their pet either had to take an alternate route because these dogs would bark nonstop when they would walk by. Same with people out for a walk. We called and asked if they could speak to them about controlling their pets from barking nonstop and thought this would be addressed, but it wasn't. We ended up leaving two days early, and paid a lot of money to stay at this park.I do want to add that the owners were quite nice, and did refund us as we left early. read more

Best bathrooms of any RV park we have ever been to. Wow. Staff was very friendly. Bounce house, pool, pool table, foosball,horseshoes.... if you are staying here, you are probably not here for the RV park. We took YARTS into Yosemite. Stop was only 2 miles away. I deducted a star because the hills are brutal. And a bike/walking path to the YARTS stop in either Coarsegold or the Casino would have been nice. We have an AClass and do not tow a car, so has to pack up and take our RV to the casino to catch the bus. Parking was free. But would have been nice to ride our bike and leave the RV set up. Last but not least... the sun set from the pool deck is unbelievable. Wow! read more

Great place to park your Rig... The R.V. Park sits right off of Highway 41 My husband and I stayed there for two weeks while my husband was working on the Creekfire up in Shaver Lake. I cannot believe how big and roomy this place actually is until we drove in, there are cabins with Air conditioners as well as Tent cabins and quite a few camping tent spots and RVs. The pool is absolutely beautiful the tables and chairs were spread apart for Covid there is a good size playground out by the pool for the kiddos which looked very inviting but I was a little too old to go but very tempted LOL, I was only in their store twice they have a variety of items the girls behind the counter were very nice. Our site was across from the restrooms and laundry room which made it very nice for me, The showers are very roomy everything was clean. Laundry room if you can believe was only $2.00 to wash and for a 60 minute dry you can't find that anywhere what a bargain, The park is very quiet I could not hear the cars on the highway which is a plus. There is a grocery store a few miles up the road and a hamburger joint and of course a doctors clinic. You can drive about 10 minutes north up into Oakhurst well you'll find a Vons and Raleys and many restaurants and a few boutiques or continue a short drive to BassLake or the entrance to Yosemite. I hadn't taken any pictures to post maybe next time sorry folks. read more

Over priced. This place is described as a resort but did not feel resort like to us. Most RV spots are very close to one another and are not level. There is also very little grass - mostly gravel. The bathrooms were clean and large which was nice. It was also impossible to reach anyone by phone - called many times on different days. read more

Nice campground. Too dry landscaping & very expensive. My main complaint: they should not allow open fires! BBQ ok, but not wood fires. They are asking for disaster in such a dry grass & wooded area...fire ring or no. Very scary as most city campers don't know what to do or how to put the fire out when they are done. read more

They ask for a credit card to see if they have available lodging then book you without your consent and keep 100% of your money. $644 in my case. Cancelled 4 days after they made a reservation without my consent after reading that this was an overpopulated RV park counter to seeing misleading advertising on glampinghub. It was a last minute decision to camp for 4th of July. We happen to past by one day and thought it would be nice to camp here, boy we were correct on this one. Got a tent spot that had running water, a fire pit and restrooms were like we were at a hotel. Then the staff was friendly and helpful on finding a good spot. To top it off the first night which was Saturday night they asked us if we wanted to be a part of the camp pot luck!!! Huh... with people we do not know, well we did and it was a blast. They had a band good food, no glass was allowed in the pool area so they gave us cups. I have never camped like this before. Plus 25-35 minutes from Bass Lake and about 5 minutes from the casino. We are already looking to book again. To stay 3 nights was under $200.00. We were pleased and very relaxed at the end of our little vacation. read more

First off, the place it's self was really clean and nice. The problem we had was we booked with Booking.com. When we got there and checked in, we found that the picture of what we booked wasn't what was reserved. The picture we booked off of was a tent styled small cabin with three rooms. It has a canopy that covers the roof that is separate from the rest of the tent. What was actually booked was a really large normal type tent, although much stronger material. It was in the middle of the son and blazing hot! When I went back up to find out what happened, the folks that work at the park told me it was booked online and I would have to talk with some other people that worked for the booking site. In the end, it all worked out and they moved us. The showers were awesome, the bathrooms were clean and nice, the pool area is wet! The game room is clean and nice. I would definitely book there again, but directly through the site itself and not online. read more

Place was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was fast. It was quiet and The cabins were spaced out nicely for privacy.We asked for our cabins changed since we wanted all the family to stay right next to each other and they did so but apologized that the room will be hot since they havent turned on the AC. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 bec the smell of the running water was very strong "sulphuric" (rotten egg) smell but they did warn us about that. Also the water was turned off the last 2 hrs before our check out bec there was a pipe that burst somewhere near our cabins so we had to walk the kids and gave them all a bath at the common bathroom/shower area but it was a good thing as well since we got a chance to check out how clean the bathrooms were. The place was about a 25-30 minute drive to Yosemite gate and was near Bass Lake as well. The grocery was about 7-10 minutes drive and was very convenient to buy the things you need. We really had a great time "glamping"last summer with the kids. The cabin had a Queen size bed and there was a loft that had 2 single mattresses for the kids or extra person staying. Kids really liked the cute cabin. It had a small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and kitchen stuff and some plastic serving bowls with covers.They provide towels, soap,shampoo,bodywash,toilet paper, paper towels and dishwashing soap too. Make sure you bring a bug zapper and lantern and flashlight (night use)if you plan on having a picnic there was yellow jackets and kids got scared with that. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here. It was my first time to the Yosemite are and the drive up to Yosemite was only about 45 minutes the the main gate-it flew by because the site were beautiful. The employees were VERY pleasant and had great customer service skills. Since we were there and a fire broke out about 30 miles from us they were completely understanding and even though they have a "no refund" policy, we expected to get no refund which we were fine with-we only wanted to be safe and take precautions and under the fire circumstances and gave us 10% back. They had WiFi (wasn't the greatest or the worst) I will say if you're planning to go mid July it is HOT!! A lot of people who were camping stayed in their trailer with the AC on blast if they were out exploring the local attractions! The site are all dirt and have some small grass areas. They have laundry and an awesome pool. The one thing that REALLY stood out to me was how nice and well maintained there showers are. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay, 5 stars in my book! read more
