Stayed over two weeks here. Paid online & easy in and out. Lots of friendly residents & nice proximity to the national parks. Super dog friendly & the spots were great. No issues with anything. The only thing I could see someone having problems with is if they don't have enough sewer hose to reach to the back of the camper since the electric, water & sewer are all the back (at least for my spot - 50 and spots close to me). I had to use my extra hose which was totally fine but just keep in mind when choosing an available spot. read more

These RV camp grounds can be deceiving. This one is surviving on its location adjacent a National Park. Otherwise it has nothing going for it. It's old, rundown, and unkept. There is no onsite management. RV campsites are jumbled together and it's hard to define the spaces. If you make a reservation on-line, there is no site selection on line. When you arrive to check in, you have to select your own site and then find it. I recommend you drive around and select the best one. Most are uneven and missing amenities: table, fire pit. Also, if you just arrive without a reservation, there appears to be a form to fill out with your credit card information. So essentially, you dont need a reservation. Just show up, fill out the form, give them a bogus credit card number, drop it on the box and walla, you can stay for free. Good Luck read more

I stopped in needing to dump my holding tank. They have the symbol on the sign out front. No one in the office to help. Dry grass with nothing to offer. It seems to be kinda self serve? Makes me nervous what you do if there is a noisy neighbor playing music or running a generator at night? Anyway, I called the number at the office and left a message. Do not stay here...we made reservations based on website and it's all a scam. Nobody at the office, vague instructions about checking in, no answer when calling for help, no response to texts. The sites are just dry weeds, broken up asphalt pads and hookups are on the wrong side...pond is just a gross mud bog. We ended up leaving and driving to another site. Full hook ups, closest to NP. Huge spaces. Nice host. WiFi is spotty unless you're close to the office. You'll be parking on dead grass and the facilities and park are pretty run down. Empty, dirty vending machines. No one is in the office. Bring everything you need. Rv electrical hook up covers missing. Broken signs. Clubhouse paint peeling. Asphalt is crumbling. Pond is bone dry. We just spent 5 nights at the Sequoia RV Park to enjoy some time at the national parks. The managers, Carlos and Luz, were so helpful. We had an electrical hookup glitch and they repaired it within minutes. There's a sweet office cat, Sequoia, who my granddaughter and I enjoyed visiting daily. The sites are extremely spacious and flat with nice grassy areas. There is a beautiful pond on the property for short walks in the afternoon. It was a short drive to King's Canyon and then into Sequoia. Full hookups and good wifi. We loved that we could choose our own spot when we drove in. read more

Campground is grassy and has mature trees, lots of birds, and a couple friendly cats. Campsites are spacious. Nice to have full hookups. This is a good jumping off point to Sequoia and Kings Canyon but it is a 30-40 minute drive up the mountain (gain 5k in elevation) on a twisting cliffside road. Beautiful drive but pretty tiring to do out and back several days in a row. More than half the campground is for seasonal sites--trailer park sites for long term residents. The bathrooms here are gross: dirty and at least one is not stocked with any tp or paper towels. Not sure why the bathrooms are so overlooked. read more

We had a wonderful week @ Sequoia RV park. Carlos and Luz were the MOST welcoming hosts we've encountered (and we live on the road full time!) The setting is beautiful and the RV park has great access to the National Parks! There's a great little gas/grocery up the road about a quarter mile with all the essentials and a few more amenities/restaurants in nearby Squaw Valley. The overnight/week stays are choose your own site and check-in with the Camp Host, but Carlos was quick to come to us and greet us when we arrived. He made us feel at home right away! The park is basic and no-frills which is perfect for us. The nightly and weekly rates were affordable. It was easy to make our reservation online and email communication was fast. Easy to hook up to water / electric with nice big sites. The sites all have picnic tables, fire pits and some are beautifully shaded. The laundry room is serviceable with 3 machines each of washers dryers (& inexpensive)! The bathrooms are currently under construction but kept tidy and gave us great HOT showers at the end of the day! The WiFi was fast and reliable (which is great for us, working on the road!) (We made friends with a sweet campground kitty and shared a little chopped chicken with her!) Easy access to both trash and recycling was great. There is a mix of short term and long term guests. The park is safe, quiet in the morning / evening and very family friendly! During our stay we had a few packages delivered to the Camp Host and Carlos/Luz were quick to communicate via text how we could collect them and that they would be secure until we could. We had a camp fire almost every night and Carlos was kind enough to provide firewood! That almost never happens in SoCal! It was so WONDERFUL! We would come back in a minute! read more

Good RV park just outside Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. Nothing fancy - just all the basics. The Internet is acceptable with some buffering. Cell service is also acceptable (not 5G).. The best thing about the park is the manager and his wife. They go out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and had no issues - best service we have ever had. A last note - the firewood bundle they sell have a "starter kit" - has a starter square, some kindling, and some wood shavings - made starting simple. read more

We stayed 7 nights in a fifth wheel. Our main goal was to visit Kings Canyon & Sequoia NP. This park has everything they advertise, but it's mediocre at best and really could be a lot better. We never met or saw a camp host or managers. You just check yourself in and pick an unoccupied site. We did see a guy come by each day to check the trash cans, landscape, etc., but that was it. The sites are really spacious but they are dirt. Sites do have a partially paved spot but if you park on this the electric pedestal, water, & sewer will be on the opposite side of your hookups meaning you have to run these connections under your rig. It is a really quite park and a great location to the national parks but even though we paid $60 night ($420 week) I don't think its worth that, but we were already here. Don't get me wrong, it does have everything they advertise and it all works and it's quiet I personally didn't like paying that much. The only negative things I can say is that it was really hard to level our rig on the site we chose, it was on dirt, there was small amount of litter around, and the utilities are on the wrong side if you want to park on pavement. read more

I have no idea how this place has any good reviews. It was a complete disaster. This place looked like something out of a horror movie. It was the worst campground we have been to so far. Everything was run down and looked horrific. My kids begged us to leave and not stay the nice. I had paid for 2 night but despite that we left and never stayed the night! We happened to choose the one site without electric and didn't realize it until we had set everything else up. This RV park is located about 20 minutes from the northern entry gate to both Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. It is in the last level and populated spot before you undertake the curving drive up the mountains to reach the parks - the views to the valley below are spectacular and un obstructed since CalTrans apparently sees no need to install them to prevent vehicles from plunging over the steep inclines below. The RV park is easily accessed off of California Highway 180 just a few hundred yards past the Valero station (reasonable fuel prices and has a minimart). The office is on your immediate left. Self registration (even if prepaid) by completing the payment envelope and putting it in the drop box and then filling out your space number and vacating date form to clip to the post. The sites are very capable of accommodating very long rigs. You select your own site on the eastern side of the park, which is where the overnight spaces are indicated with posts. The other part of the park are long term resident spaces. An important part of site selection is to verify the space has your power supply need - some boxes at this time are 50amp only, 30 amp only, both or none. Sites have also water and sewer and are pretty level. It's allowable to park either in the aged asphalt pads or the soil area - soil being hardpan and dried grasses typical of foothill California terrain. We experienced a severe voltage drop on our first evening of a 4 night stay. Voltage went from 117 to low 90s. After switching to battery power, I sent a text to the managers at around 10pm figuring we'd be moving sites the next morning. This message provided us with the best customer service experience I've had in years (note: I was a regional customer service manager for a large utility - so I recognize good from poor service). About 20 minutes after sending my text we had a knock at our trailer door. It was park manager/host Carlos asking about our issue. He immediately went to the electric panel with flashlight and volt meter and noted the lower than hoped for voltage. He checked the 50amp (good voltage) and then went to his residence to see if he had a loaner 50 to 30 amp pigtail. When Carlos returned, he said he had loaned out all 3. But he brought parts, tools, and his wife, Luz, to address the problem. Working as a team in the dark, with only flashlights to illuminate the pedestal, they found the 30 amp breaker was smoked at the jaws. Then out of the bag a parts they pulled out a pre assembled 30amp breaker with faceplate that Carlos had built, they pulled the breaker from the faceplate and installed the breaker and established acceptable voltage. I could tell by their approach and attitude that they loved the park and helping customers enjoy their stay. Getting excellent service late at night was both unexpected and a wonderful opportunity to meet the team that takes care of the park. Our 4 night stay was extremely pleasant. Road noise was minimal, the park occupants were quiet at night, trash and recycling was nearby, and if needed, shower facilities were available at the office. This is a location we will return to. read more

We booked a tent site with electric. Upon showing up there was no one in the office our email said there were 2 sites for tents with electric. We went out one had a horse trailer and dog kennel on it the other was not conducive to tent camping. There is zero shade (it was 106), no picnicthe bath house was out of order, the single shower available was dark and moldy and in the "club house" which was a room in the trailer with table and chairs. We opted to not even stay. The host showed up and was very friendly and said she understood and would refund us. I think this could be a great place with a little more love and care. At $58/night it's not worth it. read more

Recently stayed here for a week and LOVED it. Carlos and Luz are awesome! We were welcomed by Carlos upon checking in and he even walked with my husband around the park so that he can find a good site for our 44 ft toy hauler. When my husband decided on a spot, Carlos helped spot him as he backed our over 60 ft rig in perfectly. Carlos also gave us a bundle of firewood as a welcoming gift :) The sites are full hookup and are big and roomy. All grassy and beautiful with lots of trees and ducks walking around and birds chirping all day long. It's a beautiful park, everyone is friendly and quiet. There is a gas station walking distance with a small grocery store. There is also a coffee shop walking distance that has excellent drinks and delicious breakfast bagels. I was short on quarters for the laundry and Luz went out of her way to find me a few dollars worth and Carlos brought it over to our site. They are just wonderful people, they walk and drive around the whole park to say hi to everyone and make sure we are all ok or if we need help with anything. Just by general observation, you can see they've made lots of friends with other RVers that come back regularly and stay for weeks or months at a time. Making a reservation is easy, call the number and if Luz can't answer immediately , you can text her and she responds ASAP as well. Pick the site you like and they are very flexible with check in times and check out times. They are very accommodating. We extended our stay 2 more nights because we loved it there so much! Thank you Carlos and Luz for making our vacation fantastic! We'll never stay anywhere else whenever we go to Sequoia! We'll definitely be back soon! read more

Two stars for location and the sites were large and spacious. The hook ups worked. The laundry room was clean and washer/ dryer worked. Other than that it was a depressing place with old deteriorating mobile homes scattered about and feral cats wandering. The residential section was in poor repair, many of the mobile homes having large, angry pitbulls staked out front. This made me question what was going on inside. To be fair, in the campground section I didn't feel unsafe but if there were another option nearby I would have taken it. read more

As first time RV drivers, we stayed at this park back in August and had a very nice stay! The Sequoia RV Park is close to gas and a mini mart with groceries and needed supplies. Coffee shop was also down the road but we didn't stay during the weekend when it was open due to limited Covid hours. Enjoyed a delicious lunch a few minutes down the road at the nearby inn. One of the better or maybe the best site we stayed at for star gazing. The wide open space and unobstructed views were spectacular. Luz was so accommodating when we unknowingly pulled up to a site on our first night that didn't have electrical hookups and she graciously discounted our stay for the trouble. Also she was kind enough to give us access to her firewood stash that was donation based (which we were happy to donate to to allow all in the community to continue to enjoy). The park had large, and mostly level sites which came with a fire pit with removable grill top and a wooden picnic table. This RV site was super close to the entrance to Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks and we had an easy drive in and out every day. Love the quick access to the road. This is our 7th time here and I will be visiting again and again. This is prime location for visiting the sequoias. Its not up in the sequoias where all the tourist are, so to me, this is perfect. We have a big 5th wheel (42ft tip to toe). It has perfect spots for our big trailer along with hook ups. We have phone service (sitting here writing this review) and that can be important depending if you have teens or not lol. I have never been disappointed in our stay. Some nights are busy and everyones out and about visiting and some nights are quiet and you can hear the cows. Did I mention they have the cutest geese running around? Either way, its perfect from real life. The managers here are amazing. I have never met two perfect people for running an RV spot. They are very friendly and VERY helpful. Carlos takes pride in his work and his wife is his perfect match. They check in with us throughout our stay and if we have any questions they are on top of it! I am so please with our stay each and every time. I highly recommend this spot if you want to stay away from the tourist, but still want to be close to sequoias. There is also an amazing pizza place a few miles from here, a perfect hardware store, and a taco truck that sells amazing food this is your place. I am looking toward to my next stay here. Things I like: Location: The location is great with proximity to the National Parks and Forests. Camp Hosts: Reside on the property and have been very helpful the few times I've stayed there. Roomy: The sites are large because they are in place of the old mobile homes that used to be there. They are fairly level. Things that could improve: Some of the sites electrical hook-ups trip consistently. I've had to change spots because of it. Reservation system: I've thought I had a specific spot reserved but there were people there when I got there. I was able to find another spot. My Mom lives it the RV Park and she absolutely loves it. She moved up from Bakersfield 3 years ago and wants to retire there. The park was not in the best shape under the previous owners but it has changed hands and the new owners hired Luz and Carlos to manage it and they have turned it around. I was nervous about her being so far from other relatives since she is alone, getting older and needs help with fixing things on her trailer but anytime she needs help Luz and Carlos or one of her neighbors is there for her. There is a very strong sense of community among the permanent residence, they look out for each other and the park. I just visited for the first time last week and I got to meet Luz and thank her for taking such good care of my Mom. Visiting form New York I could not believe how beautiful the valley is that the park sits in, and I also doubted I would find any good Pizza to eat but just down the road is some of the best Pizza I have ever had (Bear Mountain Pizza). read more

I decided to stay here again and they have done some great work. They have redone the bathroom and showers and added some great sites. Plenty of room and quiet. My wife & I stayed 3 nights June 1-4 2021. Easy reservation & outstanding location near Kings Canyon NP entrance. The manager was super helpful when we arrived, she recommended several open spots, providing us all the park info we needed, Carol Lam was a great host. Location is as close as possible to park entrance for big rigs. We will be back again & will recommend to friends. Let me start with saying that the park no longer looks like the photos on its website! Very dry and pond has no water and we saw 2 snakes on our camp site, and half of the park has tenant living on site and makes the park look so trashy with the mess they have, and there's also condemned scary looking trailers on site as well! But that's not the issue, there was a few children shooting BB guns that were not from our site! A rude tenant went and yelled at those poor kids instead of dealing with there parents! No where on that web site say or at the camp site does it say "no BB guns allowed " So then the manager luz pulls up and asked if we had BB guns I told her no and pointed to the site the kids came from , she then goes over to them to speak with them, then goes and picks up her husband Carlos to come over to me and tell me off in front of my kids! Carlos was so rude and did not even give us a chance to explain that we did not have the BB guns! He told me I was childish for pointing fingers at the other site and I was lucky he didn't come out the night before to tell us to go inside! And ignored what I had to say and left me talking to my self! He's lucky I had my kids with me and I'm not disrespectful like him or I would of went off on him! He made us feel so uncomfortable and my kids wanted to go home because they were scared and he looked like he was on drugs! The way everything was handled was just not right!
