Who came out to my house and went over a repair plan and helped me to set up a very nice system. I had a very unique situation in my yard due to a deck and a concrete patio covering my septic system that had been installed before I moved in and I had a lot of things I wanted to add to the system to make it that much better because I did not want to dig up my yard twice. Not only did they come out in a timely fashion, but it only took them three days to get the entire thing done. I was worried that my yard would be all torn up by the end of this. However, their efficiency, experience and care for what they do shows well in the two pictures I have included. The first picture is Tuesday when I got home from work the second picture is Wednesday. Not only did they get the entire job done in three days. They put my yard back together completely as though they had not been there. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that needs septic services, including pumping. Because of the kindness and professionalism of their employees and of the people who run the company. James told me the work was about 2 weeks out and right on time, we scheduled the job. Right on time, James and his crew showed up as scheduled and went right to work. His brother, fondly known as "Peaches" arrived the same day and started drilling the new dry wells. Let alone James and his brother are great characters, they and their crew did their jobs very professionally. I was amazed at all of their skills in doing this project and when they were all done, my property looked like it had not been touched. Last year we were buying a new house and I had our realtor use these people to pump and inspect the septic system. When they completed their work they sent the report over. No one caught that the front office over there sent the wrong report and it took me reviewing docs to realize they just about cost us an entire new system at our expense. The correct report said the system failed and we almost signed off on the repairs portion of the house contract. When we finally got the report they called for almost $18k worth of repairs. The seller and us got 2 other inspections and bids with G and C being $6k and $7k more expensive than the others. Glad we dogged a bullet on that one after we almost got screwed because of their error. Now I'm not sure why I gave them another chance but almost 2 weeks ago I called to schedule a septic pumping and wanted to see the condition after 1 year to make sure our family is doing the right things etc. Told they would call the day before. Never received the call so today I called in at 8am for our 10am appointment. Was told they called everyone and confirmed appointments for the next day. I said no, never called me. The office lady said yeah, I called you and who ever answered the phone said they never scheduled a septic pumping. At what point you think what is the issue here. They took me out of the calendar and when I called they said I turned down the service. Lady, you never called me. It's my personal cell phone and you never called and spoke to me. You clearly dialed the wrong number and of course that person didn't need their septic pumped but I it. She then called and said the next appointment wouldn't be till next week. Clearly the office staff at this company are flat out incompetent and need to be replaced. With the issue last year receiving the wrong report and today, they clearly shouldn't be employed. Will NEVER use these folks again and will definitely spread the word about their incompetence that almost cost me $18k last year and the pumping issue this year. After getting a few recommendations, I called Twin Septic and three other companies. Twin Septic gave me the best price and was able to come out the very next day. Four years ago, Pure Water Plumbing & Rooter Inc. replaced a section of my home's sewer pipe and…read moreprovided a 10-year warranty for the work. Approximately two years after the replacement, the sewer line became blocked again. I contacted the company for warranty service, but they claimed the issue was in a different section of the pipe -- not the portion they had replaced -- and therefore refused to take responsibility. This explanation did not make sense to me, since if the entire line was at risk of failure, they should have informed me at the time and addressed the full problem rather than performing only a partial and temporary fix. I then hired another licensed plumbing company to inspect the issue. Their findings were as follows: "The connection between the new ABS pipe installed by Pure Water Plumbing & Rooter and the existing clay pipe failed. The band (a type of coupling) used to connect the two materials deteriorated, allowing roots to grow in and causing a portion of the old pipe to collapse. We will need to cut out about three feet of the damaged area, reconnect the pipes properly, and use appropriate fittings." This indicates that the connection made by Pure Water Plumbing & Rooter failed and directly contributed to additional damage in the sewer line. The issue appears to stem from improper installation or use of inadequate materials during their original repair. As a result, I now have to pay another plumbing company to repair both ends of the section that Pure Water Plumbing & Rooter had replaced -- even though their work was supposed to be covered by a 10-year warranty.
