Spoke to Aaron today at Parrish and Sons. Unfortunately their company doesn't do work in my neck of the woods, but dang what customer service. Aaron knew he couldn't do business for me but took about 15 minutes on the phone with me to make sure I won't get taken in my septic system fixes and repairs. He asked me questions and explained everything to me. Seems rare these days you get people who just care about helping people. Clearly a good business owner. I called Parrish & Sons to help find and clean out our Septic on a new farm about 1 year ago. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help locate and clean an old system that has been neglected for 10 years. Today I called them back because we have a mystery bathroom in a barn that I could not locate a septic tank for. I called and Aaron was a huge help. He lead me, guided me, and tutored me to find files of all permits to this property dated back to 1960 in the SJC.gov website. I would have never found this on my own. Guy came out, was very professional, apparently we only dug up the liquids, so he brought us a couple more shovels to help us dig up the solids. He was on time and things started out great. He had to leave in the middle of pumping as his truck was full, the sis probably why I am only giving a 4. We were told when we bought this house, that our tank size was 1200 gallons, yet when I go the bill, it was for 1500 gallons. Who am I to even question how they calculated this. Our septic was not back flowing to the house. We asked for them to also pump out the clean out, as we had issues with that before, and good thing we asked him to do that because that was already to the top too. flushable wipes/septic safe is a lie. I had then came out to replace an old cement lid with a newer green one, I asked the driver if he could tell me which way the leech lines went after he finished because I was planning to install a swimming pool later in the year. This company was called by my In-laws to give an estimate on a septic problem. They were one of three companies that came out. They gave a reasonable rate and an honest assessment of what the problem was. They didn't try to take them for a ride because they're elderly. You gotta respect that in this day and age. They worked fast and had the problem fixed in 3.5 hours. They were very careful not to break any property as they moved the backhoe in place to dig. In the end the repair was less than 1/3 the cost of the next highest quote given by another company. Our family highly recommends this company based off our experience with them. read more

Great service! We called 3 septic services in our area, including one we had used before. One semi-responded, but dropped the ball and didn't follow up, one never called back but DA Parrish and Sons responded and fixed our problem! Instead of the usual, rote answer of putting in a new Drainfield, they actually got to the root of the problem and fixed what we had, not only was it cheaper, it was better for the planet since we didn't have to use any new resources.
