Where sweet meets savory * September Cafe might just be one of the cutest aesthetic cafe spots in OC right now. From the cozy decor to the bright natural lighting, every corner is literally made for Instagram pictures, study sessions, or just hanging out with friends for hours. What I love most is how big their menu is~ they have everything from matcha, coffee, smoothies, fruit teas, and so many food options to choose from, so there's honestly something for everyone. Their drinks were not only super pretty but actually refreshing and flavorful too. And you NEED to add the little ice bear on top of your drink It's only an extra $1 and honestly so worth it because it makes every drink look 10x cuter for pictures. Such a small detail but it really adds to the whole experience. The vibe here feels super welcoming and relaxing with plenty of seating and space for studying or getting work done without feeling cramped. Definitely one of those cafe spots you'll want to keep coming back to whether you're craving drinks, food, or just a cute place to spend the day
Craving dessert randomly late one Tuesday night and stumbled upon this nice dessert cafe while on the area. It's a nice sized store with plenty of tables inside and some stool seating that faces out to a busy street which is always nice to watch cars drive. The vibe was very chill and mellow at the time i went, great for reading a book or bringing your laptop to study. This place offers a variety of teas, coffees, ice creams, cakes, and croffles on their menu to name a few. I went with a single scoop of their Pandan Ice Cream which costs $5.50, but you get 5% off if you pay by cash or venmo. The service was very quick and the server who brought my ice cream out to my table was friendly. The single scoop was a generous portion and it came with oreos which was a nice surprise. The flavor was right on point, not too sweet, but you can still taste the pandan in each bite. I'll have to come back next time to try their other desserts!
Came back today courtesy of management to try something different. Asked for rec on what would be less foamy and more of a dark roast, so got the Vietnamese coffee hot with condensed milk. It can be summed up as what I would call an espresso. There was a votiv of something next to it which I can only say is the same thing that could have been poured all in the same cup upon serving. All in all better than my last experience, and also had their crème brûlée. I would say these two were solid, would not order the breaded things I had last time and stick to just the coffee and crème brûlée.
Sundays call for brunch aaannnddd coffee dates. I've had this spot saved for a while and finally got the chance to check it out. Parking: Free parking lot. There's a small/medium parking lot. Finding a spot can be easy. Ambiance/Environment: The interior is very cute. They have a decent amount of indoor seating. There's a small den with a booth-ish seating. There are regular-height tables and chairs and shorter tables and chairs. It's a studious environment but also a nice spot to hangout. Service: The cashier that assisted me was simply efficient. Throughput was quick after ordering. We only waited about 12 min for everything. Drinks & dessert: The menu can be overwhelming. They offer small bites, desserts, milk teas, coffee, fruit teas, teas, yogurt, blended drinks, etc. Although the photos of the drinks look appealing, the presentation doesn't match. I was told they no longer offer drinks in a glass even if you're dining in. All drinks are in to-go cups. I got the Truffle Coffee, Vietnamese Black Coffee (with no sugar), and Egg Cream Toast. If you prefer your drinks strong and bitter, then the Vietnamese Black Coffee will be perfect for you. The bear on top is absolutely cute. Make sure you drink this properly - always let Vietnamese coffee sit and don't slurp it in two gulps. Hence why there's a lot of ice. The Truffle Coffee tasted exactly as it sounds .. I thought the flavors were okay, but I believe truffle should only stay with savory dishes lol. The egg cream itself was thick and creamy. I was expecting some fancy french toast along side with it, but it's literally just toasted white bread. Pricing: More on the expensive side for coffee in OC. I'd come back to try their other drinks bc they all sound appealing. I wouldn't get the egg cream toast again.

Came here with my dad for some coffee after lunch on his recommendation. Now my dad is very hard to please when it comes to food and drink - particularly Vietnamese coffee. He spoke very highly of this place which is all but a guaranty of quality. Sure enough, I was very satisfied with the coffee, it's on the stronger side which is perfect to me. I had iced while he had the hot. We were helped by Alisha who was very friendly. Very cozy, classic coffee shop vibe. Pay with cash / zelle / venmo for 5% off! Also free wifi so come here and enjoy some good coffee and desserts to relax or do some work.
September is an adorable cafe with plenty of seating and sweet/savory food options for studying or catching up with friends! The desserts are both made in house, and I'm normally picky about desserts but theirs are light, airy, and not too sweet which I loved. The individual decor on the drinks were the perfect cherry on top. we got their matcha cherry blossom (not too floral), tiramisu coffee (coffee base + cream top) and mango yakult (so refreshing/slightly carbonated). For foods we chose finger foods like the precut cream cheese garlic croissant and bread sticks (ham, cheese, pork belly!) with a crispy exterior. Favorites were the desserts!! I loved the berry choco mousse and passion cheesecake. We also got the oreo and tiramisu bunny since there's a buy 3 get 1 free promo! overall the price is amazing considering everythings made in house, and the staff are so sweet and attentive.
when I say every corner in this place is aesthetic I am not lying. Me and my fiance decided to stop by on a lil lunch date. Service was very nice and friendly, and there was lots of seating room inside. Menu was big with very aesthetically pleasing drinks. We got a biscoff latte and an iced matcha. The drinks came with these cute bear shaped ice cubes on top. we got a sampler platter w/ beef spaghetti, quail eggs, shrimp udon, bulgogi salad & garlic cheese bread & these cute hamster cheesecakes/mousse. Overall I definitely recommend this spot out for a date/study session.
Wow, the two drinks I got were so delicious that I wrote a review right away. I originally just ordered the Tornado Biscoff Latte to go, but they accidentally gave me a watermelon lychee tea too. My husband let them know it was a mistake, but they let us keep it. The Biscoff latte is strong, just how I like my coffee -- not too sweet -- and you can really taste the Biscoff in it. Every sip had yummy chunks of Biscoff. The watermelon lychee tea was also so refreshing and delicious. I would probably ask for it less sweet next time, but the flavor is perfect and captures the fruit flavors beautifully. The service was great, and the ambience is beautiful. There are great photo ops -- some ladies were even taking pictures with the décor.
An adorable cafe nestled in the heart of Westminster! The interior is absolutely adorable! Lots of plants, natural wood, and trendy furniture. There's also plenty of seating for coffee dates and lounging! In the mood for something fresh, I got their Barbie Yakult! Tart, light, and refreshing, this drink ticked off all of my boxes. Also, they have the cutest teddy bear ice molds- 10/10 for presentation!
September Coffee Shop is literally my GO TO spot rn the interior is SO cute and aesthetic, every corner is nice. the seats are comfy and perfect for studying I always get so much done here the vibe is chill but not dead quiet, just right. also the workers are super nice and will adjust drinks however you want which I LOVE overall just a really good place to sit, study, and relax. 10/10 recommend
The drinks, presentation, and vibe are all amazing. I will say that the vibe does add to the price. We tried the Bac Xiu, Ube Latte, and the Black Sesame Cream Latte, and everything was sooooo good. First of all, super cute little boba shop with interesting flavors! For my birthday celebration with my family, my cousins thought boba and dessert would be nice, so we dropped by September since my friends kept mentioning it. Interior inside is nice, I like the stone features, but they add lights and their own little cozy accents to make it a great space. There's a lot of seating, but some of the tables might be difficult for use. They're aesthetic pleasing, but not so functional if you decide to get more. We ended up with the wooden table as you see in the pictures. It's cute though and makes for great photos. Service is top tier. Our server/cashier was super sweet and super nice. Friendly and upbeat, who had great recommendations. As for drink wise, my cousins enjoyed their drinks. I got the Soursop tea which isn't normally seen at any other boba shops. Not many people know what it is, but it's really different and I enjoyed it. I highly recommend coming here on a night out with girlfriends! read more
Cute cafe / dessert spot in the heart of Little Saigon, Westminster. The desserts and drinks are aesthetically pleasing; very picture-esque and instagram-worthy. Extensive drink list with a variety of desserts to choose from, including daily offerings. Creme brulee (4/5) - creamy custard goodness! The torched sugar on top was the perfect touch. However, the frozen berries were a little off-putting. Flan (4/5) - get this if it's available! The texture of the flan was smooth and wasn't too thick or dense. The caramel syrup isn't too sweet and complimented the flan. Again, the frozen berries threw me off - it was hard and didn't have enough time to thaw. Passion fruit cheesecake (3/5) - the cheesecake was a little dried out and the passion fruit flavor was too tart. I recommend getting a pot of tea to balance out the desserts. They'll refill your hot water for the tea upon request. Great and quick customer service! Can get pretty crowded where finding seating can get tough. read more

Came here today to get the X-Mas bear bottle, forgot to take a picture of my caramelized coconut ice cream, but here is an older picture of it from when we go! The drink to the right is the same as the one in the X-mas bear drink! As always the ice cream and drink are amazing, perfectly sweet and never lets me down! I always drive out to eat in Westminster and when I go for dessert I always come here to satisfy my cravings! read more

This place has such a fun tropical vibe, with awesome decor that makes for great photo ops. They really put a lot of effort into the setup. More than a gimmick-- the drinks and desserts are actually really good!! I wanted to find an after dinner dessert place that both I and my two kids would enjoy (so I needed a place that offered drinks with no caffeine.) Kids got the watermelon yakult and sunrise smoothies, and the grown ups got the matcha latte and the vanilla berry mousse (shaped like a little mouse ) They were all really super tasty!! September Café is such a fun and whimsical spot if you are in the mood for cute drinks and creative desserts. Their menu is packed with specialty options, from flavored lattes to colorful teas and even desserts served in mini bathtubs. We stopped by after dinner nearby since the café is tucked into a lively plaza. The drinks here often come with playful touches like ice bears or foamy art, and I was a little worried ordering to-go might take away from the presentation. Honestly, they still managed to deliver a fun experience even in the plastic cups. I noticed on the screen that one of my drinks was upcharged $1 for a bear topping that was already pictured on the menu. Not a big deal, I even asked if I could pay another $1 to add a bear to my own drink since happiness is worth a dollar. The cashier was kind enough to say yes, but in the end only one drink actually got the bear. It was close to closing time and the cups were filled to the brim, so I did not want to cause trouble, but just a heads up if you are particular about getting those add-ons. We tried the regular matcha and the cherry blossom matcha. Both were tasty and on the sweeter side, but I appreciated that they let you adjust sweetness when ordering. Overall, a cute café with a lot of personality and perfect for a quick stop if you are in the area and want drinks that double as a photo op. read more

We got the Mango Macchiato, Strawberry matcha and the Ube French toast and all of them were yummy. The Mango Macchiato was super refreshing and the strawberry matcha was a good blend of both flavors. The ube cream was also really good, creamy and not too sweet. The overall vibe of the place is calm and aesthetic and the service was great. Will definitely be back ! read more

Looked very nice inside and easy to locate bunch of parking. The cashier seemed nice at first then she kind of got pushy?? Or wanted to rush to us next in line but the people in front of us were still standing at the register. We were waiting for them to move when they were done and she was gesturing her hand little rudely and raised her voice a bit saying SIR ARE YOU READY. Even tho the people infront of us still standing there. Anyways we got the drinks I had a matcha latte and boyfriend got a egg coffee. The matcha latte is dairy free but they put whip cream on top ? . The egg coffee was okay too wasn't alot of the drink, mostly the egg foam part. Afterwards me and boyfriend got a tummy ache. This place serves more food now which is so great! I came in around Lunch time with 2 of my friends and we had the spicy shrimp udon and their popular breadsticks , and strawberry croffle for dessert! All great, staffs are super friendly! This was such a cute and cozy find! Their ice cream hot pot is so fun and unique -- it comes with 4 scoops of ice cream, 4 mochi, and lots of toppings that you dip into warm melted chocolate. It's definitely something fun to share with friends or enjoy solo if you're feeling indulgent. They also have adorable drinks -- I tried the Strawberry Matcha and Tornado Biscoff Latte, both topped with little bear-shaped ice cubes. Not only were they Instagram-worthy, but they tasted amazing too. On top of that, they offer pastries, cakes, dumplings, and noodles if you're looking for a full meal. Shop aesthetics were on point--I loved the rustic wood tables! I came with friends to chat, and there were a lot of nooks and corners to socialize in. The menus is very extensive and beuatifully done--it was difficult to decide what to get! I happened to find this cafe on Tiktok the night before my OC trip and I am so glad that my boyfriend and I were able to visit. Immediately, we were welcomed by a friendly face who handed us beautiful menu books. We sat down on one of their beautiful tables that look like a raw wooden slab (beautiful interior design all around!) and looked through all of our options. The menu had pictures of all of the drink and food items which was amazing because there were so many items to choose from! We chose the dragon mango latte and rainbow jasmine milk tea which were perfect for us because they balanced each other. The dragon mango drink was perfectly sweet and refreshing without being too sweet and the milk tea had a strong tea taste balanced by various jellies, which is our favorite kind of milk tea! The baristas were so kind and helpful, and they handed us a sample of a corn snack because we did not order any food items. They went the extra mile! The entire cafe was filled with Halloween decor and I was stunned when I found a moving, talking witch decoration right as I entered the bathroom This establishment is so amazing that I was compelled to write a review almost instantly. I really wish that there were more cafes like this because it reminded me of cafes in Asia- beautiful with a cohesive concept, amazing atmosphere, and even better food/drinks! read more
Great quality, good quantity, good value. Came here on a recommendation from my girlfriend who saw this place on social media. I was amazed by the atmosphere and design of the cafe when we stepped in. All the drinks on the menu looked absolutely amazing and the aesthetic was cozy and the cafe was filled with not just a younger crowd but a lot of the older local residents. Rainbow Jasmine Milk Tea: This drink is sweet and tasty and has a strong taste of tea. I personally LOVE when milk teas taste like tea because you know they made it well and you're not just drinking sugar milk. The drink also has a ton of yummy add ons like classic boba tapioca pearls and grass jelly cubes. Mango Dragon Latte: This drink is sweet and creamy and includes REAL mango puree. Who would've thought that this would be a great combination. The sweet refreshing dragonfruit drink pairs amazingly with the sweet and tender blended mango. There is also tiny bits of actual dragonfruit which were a fun little nibble. The drinks here are beautiful and creative and have such great presentation. We are a peanut free cafe. However we do have almond, so almond was processed in the same facility as peanut.
Good place for studying? Any plugs?
There's a lot of seating that would be great for studying but there are not many outlets.
