If I could give less than one star, I would. I realize it's Christmas Eve, and that's why I'm buying last-minute gifts for my daughters from my son who's been sick. I went into your store, and was greeted by a very friendly cashier to ring up my $200 gift card purchases. She kindly informed me they were out of Christmas gift cards so I said birthday cards would be fine. She said,"but I can give you samples," which I thought that was super sweet. When I asked for the samples, the manager of the store came over and was extremely rude. He told her those were not samples to be given out except to match skin tone. When I asked if he had any other samples, he said," listen babe, it's the day before Christmas. What do you expect!" I have never been spoken to more rudely by any retailer that I've ever been to. And I shop A LOT! With as much money as my daughters and I spend with your company each year, I should be leaving with a smile on my face and looking forward to my next return. I would never imagine a manager of your company could speak to a returning customer so deplorably! I'm posting his picture so that everyone who views yelp will recognize him, walk the other way, and hopefully out of your store. I'm actually disgusted. It is the day before Christmas, isn't this when we're supposed to have joy? With online shopping made so easy today, from every company, and Alta being so close, service like this should not be tolerated!!!

This store is an absolute mess. How a store that is this unsanitary is able to stay open is beyond me. There is no reason for this filth. It's absolutely disgusting. On top of all that I spent over $600 dollars without so much as a welcome or thank you. I won't be back, I'll stick to online shopping. Do better, Sephora.

My fiancée and I stopped by here on Christmas Eve when they first open to look for her perfume. She wanted the irresponsible perfume and couldn't find it in the store so when a employee asked us if we needed any help, she told us they don't carry that brand in store and to try online order through their website. The store is nicely organized and the lighting help make their products stand out. Their perfume and cologne display are nice because they have their own lights to make the bottles stand out.

When a lipstick is purchased, one never knows just how it will wear or how the color will look, unless of course it is a repeat purchase. Well, I have this lipstick that is just wonderful so went in search of a few more tubes of something similar. The first person who tried to help was unable to locate the manufacture so she called the manager over. The manager realizing it was from Bare Minerals gave a suggestion to the salesperson who guided me to a display. Nothing was even close and very quickly when realizing a sale wasn't happening, the salesperson went on to help someone else. There are so many lipsticks in this store, more than I could imagine in one place. Not knowing the stock and not wanting to wander aimlessly, I left and went to another store, found a helpful salesperson, and made a purchase. Please train your salespeople to be patient and show the consumer other options to consider. It's good for customer satisfaction which in turn is good for your business.

The manager is very rude. I would not be shopping at that location. I would go to a different location. Avoid Thousand Oaks at all levels.

Employee's are lazy. All they do is stand around and socialize with each other and do Not offer any help! I will never go again!!

I use their online site as sometimes they store doesn't have the full size version of Oribe straight & smooth blow out cream.

I went to North Ranch Beauty for the first time to buy Kevin Murphy shampoo since the store had a…read morewide selection. I bought Repair Me Wash, which is an expensive shampoo because it is high quality. When I was ready to use the bottle, I noticed that the shampoo had a yellow color (it's suppose to be white), the consistency was runny (it's suppose to be thick and creamy), and it had an unpleasant smell (it's suppose to have a fresh smell). It appeared that the bottle contained dish soap rather than shampoo. I went back to North Ranch Beauty for an exchange, but I got a lot of push back from two female employees who were extremely rude to me. Begrudgingly, they exchanged it. I checked the shampoo before I left the store, but found the same issue with the other bottle. At that point, the two female employees were yelling at me and threatened me. The owner, Fred, just stood behind the counter and watched. It's troubling that the store has no qualms selling counterfeit products and that the employees felt comfortable and were encouraged to treat me poorly. *** To the "manager" who claims they weren't present, but reviewed the camera: you were at the store when I was there and you were one of the employees that mistreated me. Your account of what happened is manufactured. (It's impossible to have that much detail just by reviewing a camera. Your dishonesty is alarming and reprehensible.) Your response is simply damage control to bolster the warranted low ratings for this business.
