She's has two cuts by Stacy and walks out with a smile every time. Stacy is efficient and cuts her hair exactly how my step-daughter likes it. Not an easy task by any means, so major props to that. Here's the longer story for me: Book early, it's hard to find spots at good times around my work hours. I think that speaks to their loyal customer base. I booked out several weeks so I could get an appointment with Katie at the same time my kid was getting her hair cut. Unfortunately, Katie texted me the night before asking about rescheduling as she was ill. Normally I'd be fine with this, but I'm also leaving on vacation in a few days and my hair was just so so sad. I let Katie know this and she was able to get me booked at the same time with Britnee. I was thrilled that I was able to get an appointment on such short notice. About midday the day of the appointment I got a text asking if we could come in 45 minutes earlier than our schedule time. Not a big deal at all for us and we were able to get there on time. We were both sat right away. Now, here's where the magic really started happening. Let me just say Britnee is an absolute goddess. She had me send a picture of my current hair style and what I was looking for before hand and she was well prepared to talk about my hair and how the style would sit. She spent time with me to ask about my routine to include shampoo scheduling, morning routine, and what products I use. I opted for the extra styling add on and she legitimately too the time to teach me how to do my hair. This is what I've needed. She was so careful with every clip of the scissors and communicated what she was doing every step of the way. Now, this was without a doubt the most expensive haircut I've ever gotten for myself, but for how I feel right now it was worth every cent. Just amazing.

I asked her not to yell and she said it was because I told Jess I was going to leave reviews online. I let her know that was unacceptable and I would not be treated like that. I asked her if she would refund my money as I would no longer be utilizing her services. Mind you, I've spent thousands of dollars there, I would implore her to research my account and see how much money I've spent. She said she would, and I asked if she or Jessica could call me when completed. I instantly got a "No, I'll cut you a check and I don't have to call you when it's been cut". Again, screaming at me, being rude and acting like a disrespectful professional. I have no idea how she's made it this far with her business and lack of professionalism and acumen, but I can only imagine it's because there is no real competition around. Beware of how the Diane owner will treat you should you have a conflict and want to address the challenge in a mature fashion. Unfortunately, frontline retail employees come and go (it's the nature of business) but loyal customers are hard to come by. Diane, thank you for showing me your true colors and how you operate a business. The State of Vermont may do nothing, but I will share my sanitation concerns with them and request they pull camera footage to corroborate my story. I would suggest next time someone has a concern, listen, act like a lady, try to resolve the matter and like a respectful business owner would. Hailey won't be there forever (and I ultimately wish her success) but word of mouth, reviews and how you treat your customers lasts forever.

My first time here was as a walk in with no idea of the type of cut that I wanted. I gave Lynette a few basic guidelines and she did the rest. She created a style that works for me and even though I live outside of VT now, I make it a priority to get my hair cut when I'm here. Lynette is kind, attentive, and engaging.
