It's perfect for going with friends because they have a bench with pillows to sit on while you get pedicures, so you can all talk with each other while you're getting your nails done. It's extremely clean, the owners are so kind, and they do a great job. I have been bringing my daughter here since she was very young and they could not be kinder to her. I kind of wish I had come to Yelp before booking, because the reviews are pretty accurate. My experience overall was okay. The 3 stars are because Victoria was nice and paid close attention to detail. Her foot massage was one of the best I've ever had. The male, unsure of his name, has piss poor customer service. He's loud and has an overbearing presence. I witnessed him tell multiple people they couldn't add a service because it's not what they asked for when they booked....? He literally turned away $300+ in business in just the two hours I was there. As a business owner I'm dumbfounded. Additionally and most importantly, he doesn't like black customers. My reasons for saying this: - As soon as I walked in he yelled, "WE DONT TAKE WALK-INS". To which I replied, "I have an appointment for 2:00." I suppose because the music is blaring at the front door he didn't hear me and yelled, "APPOINTMENTS ONLY" again. At this point I took off my mask and said firmly and loudly, "I have a two o'clock appointment." After looking befuddled, he told me, "Sit over there." Because of this interaction I almost left, but I'm happy I didn't because I got to witness... - About an hour later two black females about my age walk in trying to get pedis. Again, he tells them, "We don't take walk-ins." in the same rude way. - About 30 minutes after that a white female (also about my age) walks in and requests a polish change (or something similar). Not only did he greet her with a proper "How can I help you?", but they also pulled the other female nail tech from another customer to take the walk-in. If this guy, whoever he is, stops working there I would return. Otherwise, I have no intention of spending my money here again. And speaking of money, they have signs everywhere saying they have contactless pay options. They don't. Also, they request cash tips...typically businesses who do that are skirting taxes in one way or another so that's a bit more food for thought as you consider this place. read more

We were traveling and I really needed my nails done. My husband and I both got a pedicure and I got my nails redone with dipping powder. I waited a week to review and I am happy to report that my nails still look great. Rose was very good. It was the first time that my nails weren't soaked off but she assured me that filing them would work fine and it did. The salon was clean and the ladies were very nice. Outstanding! This was my first visit and I needed my Dip nail polish removed and redone. This is my 3rd time having dip nails done and by far and away it was the best! My technician did two steps that the precious salons did not do, she trimmed and thinned the polish layer so it has much more the appearance of a natural nail! I can actually scratch an itch! And for anyone who has had gel or acrylic nails, you know that doesn't happen! I'm delighted with how my nails turned out and have already booked my next appointment. I hate to write this review but I feel it's important. First off, this is a beautiful and clean location. I had 2 services there and both were professional. The women working there are lovely and talented. Unfortunately the owner is horrible and I refuse to give him my money. I came in for a gel polish change and he spent 10 minutes trying to convince me to get a full mani with gel. I didn't need it and I didn't want it. Plus, gel change is in their menu. Then, a woman came in and asked for a design. He was so rude to her and very Curt. In both instances, the woman working there provided the service we both wanted, much to the owners dismay. I booked a pedi here a couple weeks before my appt, for a 10am slot. I got a message the week of my appt that it had been moved to 9:30. I accepted, changed my schedule around, and confirmed the day prior that I would be there. I arrived about 9:25 to the door being locked, closed signs up, and hours posted saying they open at 10am. I called- got the message, stating they open at 10am. I waited outside until 9:35- no one came. I walked down the street to get a coffee. I was back about 9:50, signs say open, the only employee there had taken a walk in and asked if I wanted to come back later. Um, no- never again. read more

Most of the time everything is great here. The owner and her family are wonderful and really try to make you comfortable. I'm only giving it 4 stars, though, because I got a gel manicure there a week ago, and I had to go back 4 days later because it was already peeling off one finger. Now, only a week later, the gel is peeling again. Gel is supposed to last 2 weeks. Not sure I'll get gel done there again (not that I really get manicures that often anyways), but my pedicures are always great, with clean equipment and tubs. ETA: Almost all the gel peeled off before 2 weeks, and now my nails are pretty weak. I think the man put on too much, so it didn't bond to my nail correctly. Phoebe C., someone who obviously works here, sent me a terrible msg which was basically my review, but she had cut and pasted and added such vulgar profanities to it that I cannot reprint it in this update. Seriously disgusting and hostile message!, Phoebe C. should be absolutely ashamed of herself for mocking my negative review in such a manner. Maybe she shouldn't be hiding behind a personal msg, but should have written a professional and public response as someone representing the business if she feels so strongly? Because of this hostile and unprofessional behavior, I am knocking off 2 more stars. Wish I could give a 0 rating. Me and My girlfriend went in for pedicures and left...needing pedicures. A total FIRST for me! Upon entering Steven was rude and argumentative and spent most of his time shooting angry glares at me from across the room after he had argued that no nail salon offers pedicure with callous removal as I had asked. Victoria and Hong were sweet enough but seriously did not know their craft either. Hong's touch was so light, she literally tickled my heels and calloused areas with a pumice stone, did not bother to push down my cuticles and hardly clipped any of the skin from around my toes at all. I have really weak nails so I get acrylic on my big toes in the winter so they don't split. While carelessly taking off my gel polish, Hong scraped half the acrylic off one toe. Then she started to do a fill without removing all of the color from the previous gel. She applied acrylic to just the very top tip of my nail while leaving the rest of my nail bare and unprotected (and was very proud of her work I may add). Even though I asked 3 times, she didn't do the other toe so they weren't at all symmetrical. I Cringed at the thought of how she would apply my nail polish so I left bare-toed. When I got home, I had to give myself a proper pedi. The stars are for the fact that this place is pretty and clean. Those are the only redeemable qualities. I paid $35 for absolutely nothing! The technicians are seriously lacking any proper training. Avoid at ALL costs! read more

Wide selection of gel colors, very relaxing atmosphere, excellent location that's central to downtown. I've had countless wonderful experiences at this place. The gel manicures always last a long time (2 weeks plus). It feels like they take their time and are very attentive. They'll talk to you and make sure you are getting what you want. I've moved away now but I go to Coco everytime I'm back in Burlington. Bonus points for being walking distance from downtown! Worse manicure I've ever had - stated they knew how to take care of gel nails and it's clear she never has. I called ahead to make an appointment to take off my gel nails and was told they could accommodate me. She filed my nails and attempted to pick them off without soaking them, ruining one of my natural nails before telling me the nails "were not ready" to come off yet and I'd have to come back again in a couple weeks. She proceeded to attempt to file the gel nail down and give me a regular manicure. I learned after that she used gel polish though she applied it as if it was a regular polish. She had me place my hands in front of tiny fans for a few minutes before telling me my nails were dry and sending me on my way. 10 minutes later two of my nails had smudged, making the polish slide off in a complete sheet. I ended up removing all of the polish - waste of money. read more

My nails still look freshly done one week later. The only con is that the seating for pedicures isn't too comfortable but the nice leg and foot massage made up for it. read more
