BEST NAIL SALON IN THE BURLINGTON AREA! I literally drive past 3 nail salons to go to this one, and it's totally worth the trip. Definitely make an appointment, as they do not have extra people on staff for walk-ins usually. I request gel extensions with polish and have been super happy with her communication, creativity, and skills. Every time I go, we discuss the length and shape that I want, and she even helps me pick out a color if I'm stumped (which happens often because I'm indecisive and they have a lot of great color options). The salon and tools are very clean, and the chairs are comfortable. I like how the UV lights (one for each hand) are right below the work table so I don't have to twist around and shove both hands into a desktop lamp (like most other salons). I've been back about 4 times and the quality is always high and consistent. I've never had a chip or smudge! You can also get basic manicures and pedicures, but again, call in advance to schedule. And although it may be a small detail, they always have great candy at the check out counter, haha. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality, with my usual bill for gel fill-ins and polish at $35 (plus tip). As an added bonus, they're located by the Hannaford shopping plaza, so you can get stuff done before or after. There is a decent amount of parking behind the building. Their front porch/veranda is so nice, sometimes I wish we did nails outside! I'll definitely be back again soon. Treat yo' self and make an appointment. read more

Wow!!!! I went to Sofi nails for the time about three weeks ago. I got a dip powder manicure with a fun design and I could not be more impressed. My nails grow very fast and previously my manicures barely last two weeks on average at other salons. I am here to say that after three weeks, my nails still look incredible! I went to Florida and back and work on a computer keyboard daily and I can't believe the design and color on all 10 nails are still shiny, no chipping, no discoloration, no pop offs, no breakage! Dien and her colleague did a great job balancing service and safety -- of both staff and customers -- by offering sanitizer outside, having only 2 (masked) clients inside at a time, wearing masks and gloves, having partitions in place, etc. My feet are ready for summer now, and my rosy dip manicure will last weeks. My first time here and I will be back! Small, intimate and very clean salon. Staff very friendly and super efficient! I had a gel mani and reg. pedicure done and expected to be there at least an hour and half to two hours as that's the typical length of time I spent for the same services down in Florida. I was in and out within 50 minutes! The girls were fast and multi tasked while still providing beautiful results. As I had my pedi done another tech soaked my nails, trimmed my cuticles and filed my nails so that once the pedi was done all I needed was the polish. Results are beautiful, I love the color and the quality. Price is reasonable for everything and I look forward to my next visit. read more

My appointment for a spa pedicure and manicure took 15 minutes. There is nothing they offer that coincides with a spa pedicure that other salons traditionally offer. My manicure was done while getting a pedicure. Not relaxing at all!!! Very rushed and they lack attention to detail. Cuticles not properly trimmed. My recommendation is to take the time to find a salon where their work and effort equals the cost. $50 for 15 minutes is robbery. I think I need to change my profession and open a nail salon. $50 for 15 minutes= #RIPOFF. If you can't manage your clients with the restricted operating requirements mandated by the state then close but dont RIP people off!!!!! read more

I got a pedicure this morning and it was great. The woman working there was really nice, the spa is clean and inviting, and the pedicure was thorough and relaxing. I just finished a pedicure and manicure at this new business here in the new north end in Burlington. What a nice space! Everything is new and clean. I had my services provided by the owner. She did a great job. I particularly liked the hot towel and massage with a hot stone for the pedi. She used a scrub on my legs which was nice too. I would have preferred more massage of my feet rather than my lower legs but it was great. I will definitely return; they have my business! read more

Today was my first visit to Sofi nails and it was as good as it gets for a pedicure. It is a new salon and pristine clean. Sofi is professional and takes the times to really make sure your nails are prepared. She also uses a final hot rock massage on your calves after sloughing them. She takes people by appointment and walk-ins if she can handle them. She doesn't overbook, which I really appreciate. I heard her explain to several people that she was booked for the day and just as I was finishing her next appointment arrived. Price wise a pedicure was $30 which is about average, but I would say the service was above average. There is parking in the back or it's just across North Ave. from the Hannefords Plaza. read more
