This salon is closest to me or I would have not invested in them as much as I have. For the love of your money and mental space go elsewhere. I went back after a year hoping they had improved and they certainly did not. 95% of the sets I have gotten done at posh were messed up in some way. Don't count on the salon manager to manage any client concern properly or well. Expect yelling and lack of accountability or level headed conversation. This salon will never build good report yelling at clients, being aggressive and negative, and not doing nail services as requested, then calling speaking up complaining. They will not fix nails if there's an issue after service is done. And will make a big issue if they have to do something they don't want to during the service. They will give you anxiety attacks if you are prone to them due to poor communication and not being able to take accountability to do what they need. I have never been yelled at in any place as much as I have here. Especially while I'm calm. Kim is a professional mellow harsher. I am a cosmetologist and have worked in nail salons myself. I would never act like this towards clients or humans for that matter. read more

Only reason this place isn't 5* is bc the "gel/shellac/no chip" whatever you call it depending on where you're from, which was gorgeous, never chipped and EXCELLENT manicure as well, turned clear and odd color in the sun when I went to the beach a week later! It was bizarre! Then when I went to get it taken off it would NOT come off even soaking in acetone and had to be chipped away which really f*cked up my nails. Idk if the polish was old but it was very odd and my regular salon had never seen this sort of reaction. It was a dark teal color. If that hadn't happened which was the polish not the salons fault, it would be one of the best salons I've been to and I've been getting regular mani pedis for over 15 years! Trust me when I say that I usually do NOT complain about a not-so-great experience, but this was probably the worst experience I have had getting my nails done! I looked at the reviews for this business and thought it would be great! I chose a style/design that was posted by the business on their Facebook page and showed it upon my arrival for my appointment. She said she wasn't sure if it would work on my nail length, but proceeded to clip off half of my natural nails. The design was a very poor attempt at what I wanted. She also did not ask what shape I wanted before beginning to cut all of my nails. She also did not ask my thoughts after the first hand was done. Luckily I was able to go back and someone else was able to give me a solid color as replacement and that is the only reason I would give 1 star instead of 0! read more

I've been here twice now for a gel manicure on my natural nails. I almost never get my nails done so I'm not really sure what to expect, but my experience here hasn't been great. It seemed like the whole process was half-assed; from the filing to the painting, it didn't seem like she was actually trying to get a flawless result. My nails aren't even painted all the way, you can see a significant amount of my naked nails showing on the sides. Last time I got them done (in December of 2021) they peeled very easily after only a few days. The prices are very fair, I'll give them that, but I would rather pay more for a flawless manicure. On one foot my toenail is slanted downward, on the other foot my toenail is jagged. The nail technician was not very kind and made a face when I asked to fix something. This place is so amazing. I get full sets of trendy Pinterest design nails for $60. The environment is nice and quiet, and the staff is pretty quick. They have an amazing selection of colors and products for your nails, and I am never disappointed when I walk out. I've tried literally every nail salon in Burlington and posh nails has exceeded my expectations in every way. I would recommend making an appointment instead of walk ins so they have a time slot for you when you come in already. The pedicure was great, but my gel manicure lasted MAYBE 1 day before it started peeling. Usually I can go 2 or 3 weeks before having to go back, so I was really disappointed to see the polish peeling off my nails after I did the dishes.
