My kitty, Miss Princess, is getting older and has had some sugar issues and her coat is not as…read morestunning as it used to be, so our veterinarian has recommended a special diet that is high in protein. This new diet doesn't provide as much nutrition as the previous one so I determined it's time to supplement. That's a subject that I am very well versed in, I've been doing it since the 70s, but not a lot of knowledge as it applies to kitties. So after spending time researching s good choice to supplement her revised glucose and senior diet I have chosen. VetriScience is a provider of dog, cat, and horse vitamins and nutritional supplements. Vetri-science Laboratories was founded in 1972. and is headquartered in Williston, Vermont. When I began my search for a quality supplement for Miss Princess I was particularly impressed with this company. VetriScience supplements are made in a SQF-certified facility and manufactured in the US. With high-quality ingredients, every product says what's in it with no hidden fillers. Plus, every product is backed by a 100% satisfaction, money-back guarantee. It checks all the boxes for a supplement for my personal needs so I'm trusting this will be good for her. Like I said, my history with nutrition is long, and imagine how shocked I was to find the sad state of the nutritional value of baby foods when I became a Dad. I mean, when a baby's born they have two options. They will either take milk from their mom's breasts or consume baby formulas, like one of the 2 leading children's formulas on the market, Enfamil and Pro Soy Be. On their best days they contain twelve to thirteen minerals in their formula, wait what? In fact, the other formulas on the market generally contain ten or less. Twelve minerals is a far cry from the dog food that contains 40+ minerals. You do the math on who is eating better? Supplemental nutrition has always been important for us. Dog and cat foods come with a certain amount of minerals in them. Generally, they contain 25 to 35 minerals. But if you shop around you can get some really enriched foods for your furry friends For example Science Diet Dog Food contains roughly 40 minerals. I could jump on my soapbox, but I digress. Bottom line: VetriScience is making a difference in my kitty's daily life, she likes the taste apparently and that's good for us.

The services that are offered at Ritual Skincare are truly world class. I was incredibly impressed with Katie's deep knowledge of herbalism and how she incorporates it into her offerings. Her kindness and beautiful energy flows through in everything that she does, and she is such a joy to spend time with during the sessions. Katie's holistic approach and ability to customize her facials to support the specific needs of a person's skin are what attracted me to her business. Her facials are heavenly, and are very effective for nourishing and hydrating the skin, especially during the winter months. And her sugaring technique is incredible and very efficient. She's the only one that I trust with my brows! There's truly no other place like hers in Vermont, and I hope that everyone has a chance to experience this special gem. read more

Katie is my number once choice in the city for waxes and facials. Not only does Katie have the experience and knowledge in all her practices, she is sincerely kind, hilarious, down to earth, and compassionate! She has created a peaceful space filled with her favorite and most trusted brands and tools to make you feel like a million bucks- and not just on the outside! You'll walk out with GLOWING skin, and you'll leave feeling more confident, grounded, and with a better understanding of how to take care of YOUR skin. Katie was also the first person to introduce sugaring as a type of waxing, and OMG it sure makes a difference. She made me feel very comfortable, as Brazilian waxes aren't that easy, and I'm able to walk out wearing jeans without any discomfort. Team Katie forever! read more

Since it was my first time with her (and needed a lot of help from my last cut which needed some serious fixing), Lacey took extra time to play with my hair, show me a couple of options to go about fixing the style without losing sight of my long term plan: keep my hair long. She then washed my hair, cut it while wet, dried it, and cut again. I've never had someone take as much care as she did, weighing options before cutting since you can only go shorter not longer! She also was informative, explaining the reasoning behind why she was cutting while wet, then again while dry, and any products she was using -- which by the way were acrobatically fabulous. Lacey was also a super conversationalist. Real, down to earth, and easy to talk to, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish.
