The vibe was super comfortable and serene. They had tea and coffee options with mint while you wait. We had Larry and Shalla and they were exceptional. We feel so relaxed and it was a great spot to pick for our anniversary thank you to them!!!

It was like being a kid and someone is rubbing sunscreen on you. She touched my breast and inner thigh accidentally a few times too. The room they do massages in is kind of sketchy. I brought this up with Cynthia, and she ghosted me. I later learned that you don't have to complete a training program to get a massage therapist license in Vermont. Neat! The Vermont Licensing board explained this to me after I messaged them for Shahla giving me a massage with an expired license. They explained that they give masseuses a lot of grace in practicing with expired licenses and probably. Also neat. Cynthia then spontaneously "found" our email chain after I spoke with the state months later, and offered a free massage. Not a refund, even though it's not legal for an unlicensed masseuse to charge. I'm giving this place two stars since this was a couples massage and my husband had a good one. Though they didn't take a health history on him before hand,

I just moved here from a major city and my brows haven't looked this good in a while. I added an exterior photo. When I arrived, the owner/ threader was out. She had a sign up saying she'd be right back. So I just looked around at the cute earrings and dresses she had in the shop. Loved them. I didn't buy anything because I need to purge what I already own and don't use first. She came in, quickly got to work, and made me look human. The threading was only 10.00 and I tipped 3.00 because my brows look B O M B. I will exclusively come here to have my brows tamed as long as I live in BTV.

I haven't gotten them done in years bc of a bad experience and she was so patient and kind and listened to exactly what I wanted (kept them thick while still shaping them). I seriously have never felt better with how I look in my life! The vibe was really nice and pretty, everything smelled good and looked very clean. Plus, it was super cheap! I will definitely be going back there again and would recommend to anyone new to threading! Thank u

I had stopped here because I had an appt to have my blood drawn for my OncoSure kit. I wasn't planning on purchasing any spa services or cryo therapy sessions, but since I was in Burlington, which is 30 mins by car and 1.5 hrs by bus (which i take the bus) from Saint Albans where I live, I decided to take advantage of being there and booked an impromptu localized cryotherapy session with heat as well. The owner was very nice and welcoming, as was the nurse who drew my blood. I really wanted to get a head/neck/scalp massage but the massesuse was just on the way out as I was coming in. I really loved the overall feel and aesthetic of the spa. I really appreciated how accommodating the owner was last minute to squeeze me in for a localized cryo session. I have had pain in the back of my knee for a few years now and it has gotten worse overtime from being on my feet working in restaurants and in healthcare (long hours). Anyways she used heat on the area first to warm it up and then used really cold nitro and my knee basically went numb lol It was a different kind of sensation. The owner gave me a tour of the spa and everything. If I was closer to Burlington I would have gone more often. The prices were rather reasonable as well. I will let the pictures do the talking :) Thanks Bijou Blu spa for your hospitality.

Heads up- they have two locations but they use the same phone number. Called from the Yelp link for…read moreking street, so we went to that location but they had booked us at the other location. Luckily, we had rented a car but this could be troublesome if you are using an Uber or Lyft. Staff was friendly. We booked a couples massage and they were able to fit us in same day. One thing I didn't like was they charged us the full amount before the massages, but AFTER said there was a $10 up charge for deep pressure. That should have been communicated since we had already paid before the service. Also, they asked for tips to be paid directly to a personal Venmo account rather than through the business. The massage itself was fine- nothing special or unusual. They do not offer bottled water or wine, as most places do with a couples massage. All in all, it was a good last minute booking. Kiki uses her feet to massage- so if you aren't okay with that be sure to communicate that.

Not only is $80 before tip for a Brazilian wax outrageous (even for the northeast), but I'd hope…read morethat since the price is this steep they'd AT LEAST get all of the hairs. I was on a trip to Burlington and was in need of a last-minute Brazilian, so I settled on this place because it was the only place I could find an appointment. My waxer, Jenna, was kind, but I left disappointed and quite frankly, felt extremely ripped off after I realized she had not done a thorough job. The hairs that were left behind weren't even too short for the wax to grab ahold of--it was just a lack of attention to detail. I'm pretty upset that I paid over $80 for an incomplete job. ****To elaborate on my one review, I thought I was happy with the wax prior to leaving the establishment. It wasn't until closer inspection once I was in the privacy of my own hotel room, that I realized there were numerous hairs left behind. I also was not asked if I was happy with the wax job at the end. If I had been asked, and if I had noticed the remaining hairs before I left, I would have absolutely said something.
