I absolutely love Sephora! They have an amazing selection of makeup, skincare and hair products. I don't recommend going to this location on the weekend...its extremely crowded and overwhelming. I went here with my mom on a Sunday to help her get some new makeup and it was insanely busy. The line wrapped around the store, but the staff was very fast and made the line go by quick. I prefer the Biltmore location since its less busy and you don't feel like you need to rush to get out of peoples way. I feel like anytime a store is located in a mall its more crowded. Like a candy store for chicks and gay guys. So fun. I could browse, sniff and spritz the colognes for hours. I'm amazed at all the products that are out there. Now, I know nothing about make up but am learning more as I attend more fashion shows and go behind the scenes. It's pretty impressive the difference the good stuff is compared to well, something, you'd get at Walgreen's. Rickie bought something called Lip Injector here. WOW...that's some freaky ass stuff. I seriously saw his lips poof up like Goldie Hawn in The First Wive's Club. I don't know if there's botulism or cayenne pepper in there, but that stuff worked. I had my bridal makeup done on 9/28/17 and was so happy with my experience with Bianca! She was laid back and asked me exactly what I wanted without pressuring me into any certain look. She was gentle and the experience was relaxing on a day that could be chaotic. They gave me a bag of bridal samples which was so generous and has some great products. Obviously, I'm not the girliest of girls, but Sephora is so cool. It almost makes me want to wear makeup...Almost. I mean not really, but in theory it seems fun. I usually go for perfume/cologne purchases and I am never disappointed. Especially since I figured out they have this interactive screen to help you find a signature scent. I only get the staples that I really need (foundation, powder, skincare items), and I stretch my dollar by asking for free perfume samples, which they will make for you on the spot. this company has a good return policy but as a vib rouge customer who has accumulated almost 3000 points i find their reward program USELESS. they never have anything decent to get for points, just a bunch of trial sized crap. also they send vib coupons at the last minute i got mine like a week before it expired and was out of town so missed it. the store wont honor it which is terrible customer service, she tried to blame it on my email settings...ok. will shop at ulta for future purchases at least their points accumulate as actual cash off your purchases, not trial size junk read more

Went in just to kill time today because I love how friendly and helpful everyone is at this store. Didn't expect to get my world flipped upside down and slapped in the face with life changing products but Virginia made it happen! I have been struggling with my hair for so many years and after taking the recommended products home for a spin, I was actually able to finger through my hair with no tangles and my curls look better than they have in years. They were also very understanding when having go return a product in the past because we all know not everything will work. So this started off as a not great experience- I bought the Marc Jacob gel foundation and got home and the $55 foundation was clearly used/ dropped and sold again. I took it back and worked with the manager Jessica- she is great. She got me a new box- thank god they had my color and ensured that it had not been tampered with- then got me to check out right away. At that time the line was probably 15 minutes long. Was there a few days ago, I really liked the mini facial they provided before the makeup session. The artist did my makeup and I hated it. The foundation was too dark and the eye makeup wasn't what I had asked for. I couldn't make it to my event with that makeup so I quickly rushed home to remove it and redo it. I bought all of the makeup I used on my wedding day here and, although it was pricey, the makeup gave me full-coverage for a long time, and the products themselves last so much longer than the ones that I had been using from the grocery store and the like. My Prime concern in Sephora was to know which minimal products will be good for SKIN TYPE 3Y09 : PRIMER, FOUNDATION STICK, CONCEALER, PRESSED POWDER, HIGHLIGHTER AND 2-3 BRUSHES ONLY . Yasss honeyyy! I was already a happy customer, but came running back after having a bad experience at the Mac store at Fashion Square. Now listen Sephora... I can explain.. I would never leave you, darling, but I kept getting the recommendation to buy the MAC Studio Fix fluid because it fits women of color perfectly and blah blah blah. I had to get it! But I never did because I walked into the MAC store and there were 3 women working, 2 of them saw me come in.. Girl, don't you know I walked into that store and NONE of them said anything to me! That store is the size of a shoebox yet no one acknowledged me during the time I was there. Not a hello, not a smile, nothing. I never got color matched or even spoken to. How hard is it to see that I looked like I was trying to disarm a bomb and CLEARLY didn't know what I was doing?! SO.. I came back home to Sephora! It would have been an easy sell for MAC because I knew the product I wanted, I just needed to be told what to buy. But that's what shitty customer service gets you, NO SALE! I had to start from ground zero after spending all that time doing research on buying the Studio Fix Fluid, but of course, Sephora would never fail me. I walk in and I'm greeted within seconds and I was passed over to Adrianna. A licensed professional who matched me perfectly to the product of my choosing, Fenty by Rihanna! Adrianna matched me like I've never been matched before. She matched my face, neck, part of my arm AND chest. ((I am like a fucking chameleon honey. My body is different shades of chocolate everywhere)) I hate when people only match on your hand or only your face!!! WHY?! My hands are a Wesley Snipes and my face is a Carrie Washington, honey. You can't match my face to the back of my hand! Anywho, Adrianna matched me better than I could have matched myself and was sweet and funny and I was practically begging you guys to take my money when she was done. This is an employee who not only knows everything about every product they carry but also the competitors as well. I'm over Sephora this location and in general. No matter the store it always feels like they are following you around like if you are going to steal something if you show up with no makeup on. When I braved up to ask for help I didn't feel like they were the most accommodating. She only put foundation on such a small area I could barely see it and tell the difference. They didn't have it in store in my shade and she didn't even write it down so I can order it or offer to give me a sample since I traveled so far to my closest store that carried that brand. Im Rouge and definitely spend enough money there but this is why I hate going in store, and normally order online. They are so over rated and rude I'm done. You would be lucky to find anything you couldn't find at Macy's for men. Heck you'd have better luck finding what you want at one of those "Perfumania" stores. I came into this location around 10:45 am looking for a color match for foundation and a lip liner. Amber was the kickass person to help me. She took the time to find a good color for my skin tone and listened to what I said I was looking for. She really took the time to talk to me about all the different products she used on me, from the Anastasia foundation stick, to the eye cream and contour kit. I'm quick to admit my flaws and severe lack of know how when it comes to makeup (even though I'm in my 30s!), but Amber was super patient with me and answered all my ridiculous questions without any judgement. Basically she was just the greatest and was such a breath of fresh air since I had bad experiences at both the PV mall AND Scottsdale locations. We even bonded over Harry Potter, as random as that is lol I'm looking forward to going back in a few days to buy the rest of the stuff we tried on my face today.
