I become a regular visitor during Halloween season. I was here last week and back again. Last week Mariamercedes helped me with all questions. She was very helpful, attentive and polite. Most importantly very patient with all the questions I had. She gave me feedback on the brand I was looking at. After hearing my concerns, she suggested another brand that would meet my expectations. I trusted her suggestion and absolutely love the tinted moisturizer she pointed out. I came back today for additional items to complete my Halloween costume. Nina, greeted me and offered to help. She was also very polite and patient with me. Showed me products and took her time explaining how to apply and use each product. I've never had a bad experience at this Sephora. Parking can be tight since it is at Waterford, but I've never had to park too far to walk. The sales associates inside are always friendly and helpful and share the latest promotions. This location is super rundown and the inventory leads a lot to be desired. The sample products on display are often old, dried up and perhaps expired? On 1/9/25 I reached for the sample product of Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Foundation and although it was nearly full, it seemed to be very much expired. The staff is generally unwelcoming and unhelpful. The experience was disappointing. read more

Just got a makeover by Lauren - she was absolutely fantastic! As a VIB Rouge member I have gotten many makeovers but this was one of my favorites. I told her she could do whatever she wanted, as long as it was all Anastasia (I wanted to play with the brand). The eyes look gorgeous & I feel like this is the best my skin has looked from these makeovers. It's a full beat without being cakey or costume. March 9th 2024, I went to Sephora in Waterford Lakes with a friend to use my Gift card. All was well until checkout. I was asked if I wanted to join a rewards program and I told her to repeat herself so I knew I heard her clearly. She said I can see if im qualified for the Sephora rewards program which would give me 25% off, and a bag of free samples which I said yes to thinking I would be signed up for notifications, earn points, and receive deals. She asked for my ID, which I then gave to her, she said the screen would ask a few questions. After being asked a few basic questions such as my address and birthdate, I was asked for my income which I didn't know. She told me to put in 1500. Then the screen asked for my security number and I looked up and said how I didnt want to answer these types of questions as it made me uncomfortable to give this out. She couldn't/didn't go back since she already ran my ID. I answered the rest of the questions since she didn't remove me out of the process. A few moments later she asked if I would like to use my discount today, I said yes and she handed me some sort of packet and said I could pay off my total over the phone. I cut her off and told her how I was unaware I was being signed up for a credit card with Sephora, how I don't even come here enough to want one, I don't make enough money to pay off the monthly expenses, and came in wanting to use my gift card. There was another employee to the right helping my friend check out as well as other customers. She was definitely listening in on the conversation at this point. The lady checking me out then said if I wanted to cancel my card I could by calling the number to linked to Sephora Credit and wrote down the phone number on the receipt. I was and still am very frustrated as I knew this could cause damage to my credit score and I couldn't use my gift card. Never did this employee state I was being signed up for a credit card even when asked to repeat herself. There was no other solution for me but to cancel it all right away over the phone. As a very young adult, this could cause so much damage in the future with my credit score. read more

I have been to other Orlando area Sephoras and the service is not even comparable to this location. I will literally drive 45 min to go to this location from this point forward. Service is impeccable. The store was clean and I was greeted as soon as I entered. I felt comfortable and not like I was a bother like other "beauty stores" that will remain nameless. Honestly such an amazing experience at this store. I had a horrible experience prior to coming in at a different makeup store and was desperate to find a new foundation that works for me. The staff went above and beyond to match me with the perfect shade, offered samples, and even guided me to other products I was looking for. This Sephora just opened. But of course since I'm in love with make up I have to go once a week. The associates are always so kind and ready to help in anyway possible. They have such a positive attitude and really know the product very well to guide you on what's best for you and what you're trying to accomplish. Not all locations are great but by far has been a great experience coming to this location. They don't chase you to help which is what I love. If I want to be helped I will look for you and ask. They make it well known that if you need something they will be there to assist if needed. read more

Had such an amazing experience at this Sephora. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted and informed of current offers going on in store. I went in knowing what I was looking for but not really sure what to get. Mari (like calamari as she told me ) came up to me and was SUPER helpful. She went above and beyond, truly. Even my boyfriend was highly impressed. She was super knowledgeable and informative and answered all my questions. She gave me some samples to try out as well so I can establish a skin routine that would help me get my skin right. This location is awful when it comes to customer service. I went there tonight, around 7:00pm. When I walked in, I saw two associates that were talking to each other , one holding a clip board while she was talking to the other employee whom had pink eyebrows. I asked the two if someone could help me because the other employees were helping customers. Neither one of them looked at me and the one with the pink eyebrows responds what do you need? I played it off like it didn't bother me and let her barely assist me but I could not hide how her rudeness effected me and therefore could not give that location my money. I said thanks for your help and walked out, went to ultra who's service was phenomenal. It explains why they were packed and Sephora barely had anyone in there. I was talking to someone about Sephora and she told me she had the same experience there. She felt like she was a inconvenience to them when she asked for help. read more
