I need everyone to understand that Luna at Sephora is THAT person. I walked into the mall looking like I had just come from moving Christmas bins (because I had). Yoga shorts. Old gray sandals fighting for their lives. No makeup. I was on a mission and honest--tired. After a not-so-great experience at another store (Aldo) where I felt more watched than welcomed, I walked into Sephora hoping the vibe would be different. It was. Immediately. I asked about the skin tone machine, and even though it wasn't working, Luna didn't miss a beat. "We can do it old school." Say less. What started as a quick foundation match turned into a full glow-up consultation. Luna didn't just recommend products -- they listened. We talked about turning 30, wanting to elevate my look, feeling ready for a new era. They heard me. Not in a sales way. In a human way. They created an entirely new look for me. Thoughtful product choices. Honest feedback. No pressure. Just real guidance and excitement. I felt seen, not sized up. Supported, not sold to. And yes -- I happily spent $300+ unbothered of the amount as I knew these products were THE products for me as Luna had shown. Because when someone makes you feel confident and understood? That's worth it. Luna completely reset my mall experience. If I go back, it's for Sephora -- and it's for Luna. If you're reading this and want someone who genuinely cares, knows their craft, and will hype you up while actually educating you -- go ask for Luna. Trust. Despite being located in the enormous Florida Mall, this Sephora store did not have many products I was looking for. There is a lot of inconsistency between what is available for pick-up as shown in the Sephora app, versus what is actually available in-store at this location. In the end I could only get half the items I had in my shopping list. Finding the items was also a struggle since I had a mix of skincare, makeup, and hair care products by different companies. The staff seemed to congregate in one part of the store, and despite my wandering all over the store multiple times doing my best to find what I needed, not a single time did they reach out to check and see if I needed help. Language was also a barrier as most of them spoke Spanish and limited English. On a positive note they were happy to give out samples of products when I asked. The products themselves seem high quality, and the prices seem typical of Sephora, with a variety of price ranges from $100+ single items to $6 face masks. read more

Super unimpressed with their customer service. I just got in from out of town and had a to grab a few things that I left at home. I tried calling them to see where they were located in the mall but no answer so I ended up walking the entire mall to find them. The signage/directory was very confusing as well and I was trying to make it before they closed. When I got there the eyeliner I wanted was gone, so I finally tracked down an employee but wasn't totally sure because she was bent over. When I asked if she worked here, she half laughed/rolled her eyes and said "yes I work here". They were out of what I wanted so I got a substitute. The girl at the counter barely said 2 words to me and handed me my bag without a word - no thank you, no goodbye, nothing. Wow. Definitely not the Sephora experience I'm used to. read more

I don't think I've ever in my life have ever got so disrespected in my 32 years of living that I've EVER had to write a review. Now I'm doing it because it's the second time it's happened to me besides last Wednesday when I was here. Before the store closes every single person counts down every minute it is to closing. They scream and I mean scream at 10 minutes , 9 minutes , 8 minutes and the tall gentleman Kevin is literally screaming for you to get out out and go on line now when it's 7:55. He told me in a loud voice I have to go on line now and if not to leave right now. I couldn't believe it. He screamed at a little girl that was looking for a brush because the mom figured he won't yell at the little girl so she told the little girl to get the powder brush she needed. He yelled at the girl and said "we are closed" , mind you it's 756pm , 4 minutes to close. Now something similar happened last Wednesday when they were closing with another shorter gentleman that wasn't here but sort of acted like a Kevin. Oh wow... this Sephora is HUGE! I do love our Jacksonville store, but boy, do I wish our store was a large as this one. It's so well organized and well lit. Everything is also separated nicely so it's easy to navigate a wheelchair through this store. Someone else mentioned in a quick tip or review somewhere along the lines of "try to walk out of here without spending at least $100." I couldn't agree more. I come in here a lot with just the intention to browse.... pfffttt... yearight, like THAT every happens! It also doesn't help that I have a husband who never tells me, "No." I love that they carry Benefit and Urban Decay. I also found a new brand called Too Faced here and I love their eye shadow pallets! It's also easy to drop a lot of money just picking up little things like roller balls perfumes (they had a HUGE array of them by name brand designers) and nail polish. They have a huge area in the middle of the store for trying on make-up with large mirrors and lights. They also have things to help with trying items on like tissues, cotton swabs, cotton balls, alcohol, and make-up remover. The store does get pretty crowded, but I never have trouble finding someone to help me in here. The employees are super friendly and very knowledgeable about all the products in the store, where the products are located, and they can even give you great tips about applying make-up and make suggestions for different skin tones, etc. I really heart this Sephora. 5 solid stars! read more

Any makeup enthusiastic would be happy to be in the store. Its huge and has tons of different brands and makeup styles to offer. There is always plenty of staff on hand that check to see if you need help with anything. They do offer a lot of classes and free samples so be sure to check out what's on offer. The store itself is usually pretty clean and organized and it easy to find a specific brand if you're looking for it. If you specifically come to this Mall to go to this location I recommend that you park on the side withC Charlies. Overall: B+ A makeup enthusiasts candy land. read more

I love this place. I just wish the products would be so expensive! I guess you pay for quality. My favorite things about this store: 1. Staff are knowledgeable and provide lots of samples if you treat them nicely. 2. Great products you can't even find in Ulta 3. You don't like what you bought? Free returns and full refunds as long as the product isn't missing more than 50%! Fair game! Reason why the get a 4? Their customer service is somewhat inconsistent. Since it's The Florida Mall and there are so many clients, sometimes they easily disregard you or are distracted by other customers. I adore Sephora. I am a VIB member. And I have NEVER, ever had such a nasty experience as at this particular branch of Sephora. I went to this store in the Florida Mall as it's supposed to be large and well-stocked, which it somewhat was. But I go to Sephora stores not just for stock (I could get more online) - I go to feel special for 15 minutes, to be waited on/asked if I need help, and to learn about new items, then finally, to be treated well at check out. None of that happened this trip. I was flat out treated RUDELY from the time that I called the store to inquire about a makeover (where, though I repeated several times that I was a VIB member and was calling to schedule my complimentary makeover, I was told that it would cost $50), to the next moment after I said I didn't care about the cost but that, hey, mum and I wanted appointments at the same time, whereupon the gal on the phone sneered "Oh, we're too busy at that time to accommodate you and your mother" without suggesting any other solution. Then into the store itself - what a bummer unfun time. Not one single associate approached my mum and I to help us. We had to seek out an associate to show us where more lotion was stocked for a popular brand we wanted. This after we had been standing in front of the display for 5 minutes. And searching around. And loudly wondering "Do you think they are sold out?" etc. And several associates were standing not even one row away chatting about non-work (gossip?!) during all this. Then, upon going to check out, I saw that there was no one in line (in fact, there was hardly anyone in the store, and so, how interesting it must have been for the associates that day to get to stand and all chat with each other) and walked up to the register. The sales associate at the register shrilled "You need to go to where the line starts, over there." Well, so I did - even though there was no one there. So mum and I stood and stared at the "line entrance" at this lone associate, who then turned and fake-smiled "Oh, I can't ring you up as I am holding my check out envelope now." (she was holding what looked like a bank plastic envelope, but still!). Then when an associate did check me out (after we stood and waited about 40 more seconds), she didn't know to give me my new VIB card (duh!). Um, good thing I have been VIB for a while and I knew to ask for it. And the final insult to injury was when, at check out, I asked for my three free samples (oh, yes, I did buy over $115 worth of product, again, like usual), I was told in a simpering voice that they only make custom samples. I asked if they could check and see if they had any pre-made as I didn't have time to make samples. One would think that they could check without eye-rolling and sighing. She dug around in the drawer under the register and came up with one sample - and offered me two of the same thing. Really?! All in all, it was the WORST Sephora experience of my long shopping history with Sephora. If I had been a first time guest, I would NEVER have returned. No wonder the store was nearly empty in a packed-to-the-gills mall. I was so excited that a mall was right inside the same property as the hotel im staying in. I called ahead of time to ask the policy if I don't have a receipt but I'm a beauty first. Friendly over the phone knowing that they are busy. I walked to Sephora.( the joy of walking to the mall without parking). Showed the advisor upon the make up I purchased and they tried it on me and I looked orange. ( tell me about embarrassment in public at a major function) so I was shown a different foundation with same full coverage. ( I'm tired of figuring out foundation, I rely on the experts). Well first application looked ok sort of but a yellow tone. After applying to face and neck, yep I looked not orange but yellowish green. My undertone is sort of reddish so this didn't match. The beauty advisor was so helpful I didn't want to say hey ummm I don't think this is the right fit. I asked if it looks different when I go outside and they explained to bring back. But what is my. Next option.... whew I am officially over foundation as it is horrendous to try to find the right coverage and shade. ( kudos to those that have no problem with the flawless skin) but I went to check out and the person checking me out remembered me from the phone. Totally nice. I've got to give a 5 stars because of one special employee going above and beyond!!! My autistic cousin and I went to Sephora to pickup some foundation for myself. She has sensory issues when it comes to her face especially, so she doesn't wear makeup regularly. Sometimes she will do a splash of eyeshadow and a bit of mascara, but that's all. When I asked Chantal her recommendation, she was extremely helpful and mentioned lightweight makeup for my vacation. Over the course of a few minutes she educated us both on all the terms (lightweight, medium coverage, hydrating, able to be built on). Who knew there was so much that goes into cosmetology?? Chantal asked if she could do a little makeup on me; sure! She used the Urban Decay Naked foundation on me, and I had to get it. So smooth and perfect for outdoors! I got up from the chair and Chantal looked at my little cousin and said "it's your turn beautiful!" Her eyes just lit up! Normally she doesn't let anyone near her face whatsoever, but Chantal made her so comfortable by talking about her new school and life in general, that she sat perfectly still and smiled through it. Chantal was done before she even realized. She did her foundation, mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner! We didn't have plans for the rest of the day, and my cousin felt like the most beautiful girl in Orlando, so we went out to Harry P. Leu gardens for a photo shoot! One stop beauty shop. It's a great place to go when you need a pick me up. It just feels very modern and girly to be there. I love that so many products are all in one place. Skincare, cosmetic implements, fragrances, nail care, hair care, and so many different brands. There are a lot of hip products for men as well. I especially like Bare Essentials, Clinique, Carol's Daughter, Nars, Philosophy, and Too Faced. And of course, there's Sephora brand. There's dedicated space to try on cosmetics with an abundance of make up remover, tissues and single use items to keep you clean. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Returns and exchanges are a breeze--which is critical if something does not work out, because Sephora is not cheap. If you're looking for bargains this is not the place. But if you want a really great shopping experience and high quality products, come on in. I really like that you can get points and get gifts like a reusable shopping bag and samples when you go. I got a generous jar of coconut body butter last time I went. I love this place!!! I attended this location at Florida Mall to take the Contouring and highlight class that Beutu Insider memver can schedule for free. This was the first class I enrolled to at Sephora. The class was scheduled to start at 4 and they were on time. I happened to be the only "student", so I had all the attention! The instructor and the assistant were great! They took the time to explain everything and shared some great tips about makeup and somw products. They helped me look for my perfect shade and shared some insights about some of the best products out there. I went in this store today to do an exchange since my $199 clarisonic will not stay charged. The female that assisted me named Lydia was in the worst mood and wouldn't help me. She denied my exchange with no reason and then would not give me a bag to carry my old clarisonic asked for a customer service number and she gave me a wrong number. She made a comment under here breath and said men! It's hard enough for a guy to shop in a store that is predominantly caters to females already. I found the number to customer service online and called. I don't understand why companies employee such people that hate customers. read more

Any makeup freak would squirm with delight with the very mention of this store's name. By far they are the most up to date with the carrying selection of new brands and they are very trusted when it comes to shopping for the best make up in the market. Although this store doesn't tend to provide makeup lessons or quick beating service the products speak for themselves. Urban decay, Tarte, Nars, Bare Essentials, Too Faced, Makeup Forever are some of the many products they have. I love how I always find what I am looking for in Sephora and how they display the best sellers and editors pick in their store. From time to time it may be difficult to narrow down what you may want to buy in this store because you can go for one thing but walk out with many. I've found that every time I go into this Sephora, they treat me like a baby, I am 16 years old and buy more makeup at Sephora than the average makeup artist. They usually have colors in stock. They don't sell Bobbi Brown though which is my favorite brand. Overall I truly dislike this store, as they treat me as if I am a baby. read more

Took my 90 year old grandma to this location for a Perk facial. My grandmother has Parkinson's and beginning of Alzheimer's, so she is very particular. We were so blessed to have Simone as the person helping us. Grandma is older but still loves to get pampered and loves makeup. Simone was super patient with her and wanted to make sure she was comfortable with every step of the process. Once the facial was over, grandma was happy but then realized her face was completely bare and she never leaves the house without makeup on. I told my grandma I would help her and we would apply some makeup in the store. Simone went above and beyond and understood my grandma was uncomfortable. She showed my grandma some products to cover up some dark spots she has on her face, so we ended up picking up some of that as part of our $75 purchase. This was such a grand experience for my grandma as she doesn't get out as much anymore. I can't thank Simone enough for being beyond patient with my grandma. I am so grateful. Also wanted to point out there was another Latina girl who we initially approached who took us back to Simone. She sat us as Simone was finishing up. Because my grandma is older and has her health issues it's not that easy for her to climb up on the stool. This girl saw my grandma was hesitating because I couldn't get her on the seat so she came back and assured my grandma we could get her on the stool. She lowered it for us and made sure that my grandma was comfortable before she left. read more

Terrible! Every time I'm walking through JC Penney, a bunch of sephora employees are lined up forcing me to take their scented stuff. I end up walking through and leaving the scented paper somewhere in the mall (who wants to carry that?) So finally, I decide to go inside the small sephora area because I was bored and wanted to look around. The second I stepped foot on their tile, an employee approached me and I told her I was "just looking". I ended up repeating that phrase about 6 times while I was in there. Wherever I walked, they walked. When I stood in one place, someone stood behind me. When I tried on makeup, someone was there to tell me I was doing it wrong. And when I left, someone was there to try and make me buy something. They know that their annoying, so why not stop? They have cameras everywhere so they know who actually steals. So from then on, I only go into sephora when I want to do my makeup for an event but lack the product. I don't buy anything, I just stand there and beat my entire face with their stuff, and then I leave! read more

An excellent Sephora-some are small and don't always have what you're looking for. This Sephora will not disappoint. I am loyal to Clinique, but was in search of an eyeliner that wouldn't move. I have a real problem of my watery eyes messing up the eyeliner almost immediately after I put it on. Found a $11 waterproof eyeliner that works great. I love that Sephora sells Gwen Stefani make up bags and accessories-the main reason I come in Sephora. The line is expensive, but I haven't seen it anywhere else. Each style is in stock for at least a few months, usually changing with the season. The staff is also really nice and helpful. read more

Went in for some bronzer...walked out with a gorgeous smoky eye by my new pal Wyatt. I've watched YouTube videos on how to do the o so "easy" smoky eye and tried to duplicate it with no success. I'm more of a hands on person. The lovely Wyatt was introduced to me and he went above and beyond to help me achieve the look I was hoping for. Which was appreciated. It was much smaller with more limited lines than a typical Sephora but I don't know if that's because it was inside JC Penny or because it was moved/being refurbished inside the store or a combination of both. I'm a tough cookie: I hate shopping, hate going to the mall and don't wear makeup...BUT, I had to go to the mall to get a watch battery and on a friend's suggestion, reluctantly popped into Sephora. Adriana and Blake greeted me and I told them I'm open to makeup that won't feel heavy or make me glow like the sun. They were EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND ATTENTIVE and picked out the perfect product. They applied it and I looked fabulous. Made me a convert! I wore it home and it didn't feel heavy on my face at all. I love Sephora! I've visited several locations all over Florida (Tallahassee, Gainesville, Tampa, Miami) and the associates are so genuine and ready to assist you in your purchases. I work in retail as well and I am familiar with how customer service works The customer service at this store was simply awful! I went in Thursday morning to find a color match for Kat Von D's Lock-it Foundation. After wandering aimlessly around looking for the display and passing at least 5 employees stationed around the store standing and chatting I finally approached an employee to ask where it was located. She led me to the display which was located next to Stila's. Basically she had the Stila representative/Sephora associate try to sell me the BB cream. I guess they work off commission or sales goal because he kept trying to sell the Stila BB cream to me when I simply wanted a color match for the Kat Von D. I tried the Stila it looked cakey on my skin and I had read reviews for it previously and was not interested. I asked the Stila rep what was wrong with the Kat Von D foundation and if he recommended any other foundations in the store and he blatantly said no and dismissed all my other suggestions saying that nothing was as good as Stila. After that statement I lost interest in shopping in the store since I clearly was not going to get any assistance in find getting color match for the Kat Von D foundation. Instead I went the Sephora in JCPenny where the associates there were super friendly and willing to assist me in what I was looking for and made my purchase there. I atttended the Florida mall location on a weekday, after making 4 laps and asking 4 people to try a specific product I got no one to help me. If you like makeup, then you'll like Sephora. Years ago, Sephora at the Florida Mall used to be sprawling and dimly lit ("mood lighting", I guess). The makeup displays were almost always grungy and filthy, and I generally didn't like to shop there. In the last couple of years, they moved the store down the hall, in a slightly smaller store, with bright lighting and much cleaner digs. I thought that moving to a smaller store meant they would lose some of the brands, but most everything that I liked is still available. The sales associates/makeup artists themselves are a bit of a "your-mileage-may-vary" deal. Some of them are really enthusiastic. Some of them are really haughty. I generally like to be left alone when I'm shopping, so I don't really mind either way. They used to do quick makeup demos for free, and if there were bored employees, they might give you a full makeover -- however, I'm not sure of how that works now, and whether you have to make a purchase for a makeover (I might assume so). They are more than willing to make samples of anything you want in the store. Once, I had needed to buy some foundation, but they had run out of my shade. The MA was more than happy to make me a giant sample from the tester to tide me over, and was willing to make a phone-order for me and waive the shipping costs. Everytime I've wanted perfume samples, they've always made it for me. Of course, the store doesn't not have the full range of items offered on the website, but it's a great place to test and experiment with the makeup. I usually stop in, test my potential buys out, and then make an order online (especially if I have a coupon code). As of right now, the FL Mall location is one of the select Sephoras in the country selling Illamasqua makeup, which is a UK import. They also have an extensive Make Up For Ever and Urban Decay section, which is sometimes hard to find! read more

Sephora is a warehouse store for cosmetics. They basically have every brand carried within department stores. They have long aisles chock full of blush, lipstick, perfume, and everything else beauty related. The Good: Lots of choice Brands: This place has it all, some brands such as Chanel, Dior, and my favorite, Bobby Brown. They are all at pretty good price, and this place definitely is competitive with your local department stores. Sephora Beauty Rewards: Each dollar you spend within Sephora earns you one point with Sephora Rewards. Once you accumulate a certain amount of points you can trade it in for products in display at the checkout counter. The Bad: Expensive house brand: This made no sense to me, because isn't the house brand supposed to be cheaper than the other brands? That's always what I thought, but apparently that's not the case here. Sad men's section: This place has a men's section, with moisturizers and cologne. And that's it. I really think this space is more of a courtesy to the men who have to travel here with wives, sisters, girlfriends and mothers. So I have always been a HUGE fan and supporter of Sephora but today I was so disappointed. I went to Disney Springs with my fiance and I always go into Sephora to check out the make up and the new launches and new deals. I was just walking around enjoying myself and this employee comes up and insists on giving me a shopping bag, I decline since I have free hands and can carry stuff. I usually never take the bags anyway. I countinue on looking and haven't picked up anything for purchase and she comes around again and pretends to mistake me for a new customer which I think is a lie because I'm wearing a HoT pink jogging jacket from Columbia. And she continues to following me the entire time I'm there. Which wasn't much longer, maybe 5 minutes. I felt so uncomfortable I couldn't even look at the products without being watched. I'm sorry bui t how is that good customer service and what about menor the way I was dressed, not that it matters, screams shoplifter? Nothing me or my fiance did warranted this type or reaction. I was REALLY disappointed by the way I was treat there. I came into the store and waited literally 30 minutes until I find someone who could help me find the products that I wanted. I was in a trip and stayed at orlando just a few days so I could just go to sephora two times, I had to buy things fast but I just couldn't. I was hoping that I could find a big list of products and I only found half of them because I had no one to help me or they didn't have the products on the store. The Florida mall Sephora *(not jcpenny) treatment of their customers specifically women of color is utter disgusting. I went in to the store with my mother excited and eager to purchase the new Fenty Beauty Product line. I was able to located where the display was set up in the front right of the store but not able find the correct foundation and lip gloss my mother was referred the name of the product by friend and wanted the exact same one. I approached a sale associate for help in finding the specific product that wasnt not on the display to see if maybe if was in stock. She motioned for me to wait for her to finish helping another customer and that she would assist once finished. So i continued browsing testing out the foundations available while waiting but kept an eye out for the sales associate to be done with the customer. After several minutes went by i looked up and to my surprise she moved on to another customer who was also seeking help in finding a fenty beauty product. It was then I noticed a pattern, whenever a shopper that was foreing or white approached a sales associate seeking help with finding their product specifically with fenty beauty they were assisted immediately and went out of their way to ensure the shopper found a product regardless of whether their shade matched or not but when a shopper of color approached them to find a shade or product from the fenty beauty line they were either told whatever was on display is what they had, completely ignored or disregarded all together. this was not just me that experience this treatment i stood back and observed for over 20 minutes in the store to see who the sales associated were more willing to help and this is what i witnessed. The irony of the situation is that Fenty Beauty was created by rihanna to help women with deeper complexion be able to find products the match them as well but here these sales associates were doing the complete opposite of what the brand promotes. I was deeply hurt and i honestly can say i will never be revisting that store again i will stay in the comfort of my home and order online directly from the source. read more

This is a candy store for makeup junkies such as myself. This place is one of the cleanest stores that I have ever shopped in. The staff is willing and eager to help you with your makeup needs (and wants). The brands range from Sephoras own line to Yves Saint Laurent. The company even has an app for the iPhone and iPad that is pretty sophisticated. This is my favorite store to frequent....They even know me by name! :-) read more

Attended a "Daytime Smokey Eye" class this morning! It was scheduled at 9:30 am before the store was even open. Whitney was our instructor and she was fabulous! There were only three people in attendance, including me, which meant a lot of personal attention and instruction for each of us! Everyone was extremely informative, helpful, and definitely friendly! The store director was even taking the class with us, since his specialty is skin, more so than make up application! I honestly feel like I learned so much more than I expected and got so much out of the class! Also, forgot to start out by mentioning that these classes are complete FREE! Of course, they suggest a lot of products that are available for purchase, but there's no spending requirement necessarily. As an added bonus, coffee was provided, although I don't think that is the norm all of the time, and the class was over by 11:30am, which still allowed us a good half an hour of having the store completely to ourselves before they opened to look around and try out even more products! Blake was working with me the most and he was so, so incredibly helpful! I will definitely sign up for more classes in the future, which can be done online or in the store itself! Definitely recommend them to anyone who enjoys make up! read more

Okay so I'm a make up addict I must admit. I practically live at ulta. Though, sometimes, I feel the need to cheat on my ulta and drive an hour out of my way to the nearest sephora because they do have different items that peak my interest. I was very, upset today when I came in for a certain something and they were out of stock. Now, this is the THIRD time I came in and they were out of stock of the same item. And I called ahead of time to see if they had restocked and was told they did (apparently, who ever I spoke to was misinformed and did not check) So, I decided I would just order it online and had the sales lady do a foundation match with the sample they had. She said it was perfect match. I left, a little annoyed that I had driven so far for no reason. And upon getting into my car I looked in the mirror and realized the foundation (in the lightest shade they had) WAS WAYYY TOO DARK and I was walking around with an orange half of my face, lol. So, I think I'm just going to give up on sephora for now. Because the closest one after that is another 20 min away and it's not really worth it.... Upsetting. To say the least read more

I love Sephora, but the treatment at this specific one was terrible and I won't be going back. As soon as I walked in I felt uncomfortable. There was no greeting and it was if no one was interested in helping my friend and I. After having picked up my fenty foundation(mind you I had to color match my own self) I proceeded to look around the store and finally someone came up to me and asked if They could assist me and I said no. They then consistently decided to keep asking me if I was ok and if I needed their assistance after repeatedly kept telling them that I was fine. I then began to keep looking at makeup and skincare in the store and the employees kept following me. At one point the employee (a woman who I speculate to be the manager because she was signing returns) decided to speak into her microphone and told someone to check the security cameras. She said it loud and near us I suppose as a way to scare my friend and I. However we were unbothered because we knew we had done nothing wrong and had nothing to hide. They kept following us and watching us throughout the store and the experience was very uncomfortable. Until one of the African American female workers asked us for help and she actually seemed genuine unlike the others. So instead of buying a skincare product I decided to leave it and ended up just paying for the foundation I really needed. While I was at the checkout counter my friend noticed that the employees were still eyeing us and I felt hurt. The cashiers at the time were the only ones who didn't view us as inferior and helped me check out just fine. I felt discriminated against, whether it was because of my age or appearance I am unsure they were extremely unprofessional. I was dissatisfied with the treatment I received and not to mention as we were leaving one of the other employees tapped the security Guard and said "hey" while pointing at my friend and I.while the security guard payed no attention to her (mind you were are 17 year olds and Hispanic, and have the money to buy the products we wanted) I truly hope the employees at question get reprimanded for their discriminatory actions. read more

so upset about how I was treated today. I am hispanic and had my son with me in his stroller. As I was pushing him around I was looking through the different products. I wanted to try a new kind of lip stain but when I checked out the sample it was old and dried out. I wanted to ask a worker on their opinion of the stain but no one was available. There was much more I wanted to check out so i figured I would hold the lip stain until I ran into a worker who wasnt busy. While I was checking out the mascara I was standing in front of the mirror and all of a sudden two Sephora workers swarmed me. They just stood in front of me almost as if though they were waiting for me to say something to them. I felt violated. They acted as if though I walked in there to steal.My husband walked in to find me because he was at another store and he asked me why everyone was staring at me. Crazy how even he noticed.
