The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, and they are pretty good at reading if you want to talk or just look around. This is my fave spot to indulge when I have some extra funds.. or when I don't really but still want to smell like heaven. I've been an avid Lush shopper for many years. I love that their products are natural and the company seems to be ethical. I have so many favorite soap scents . My faves are Sultana of Soap, Ro's Argan, Karma and Sticky Syrup. My most fave scents as far as body wash and sprays are the Posh Chocolate and the Sticky Date. You smell like a warm caramel cookie. It's so great. To top it off if you get your hands on the Tumeric Latte Perfume, that's it, you'll smell better than anyone in the room. In top of that, if you save the containers, you get $1 off of your next purchase. Sometimes I roll in there with 10 containers and get a free little something. Pro tip: Always ask for a little sample of something. They are happy to give a sample if most anything and it's fun to try something new. read more

One thing I'm gonna do is visit any Lush store I pass by. I was in Orlando during a trade show and this location is located inside the mall at the Florida Hotel & Conference Center. I always have a Lush gift card because I request them for Christmas, Mother Day, birthdays, any occasion, so I was happy to go in and smell some familiar items and try some new ones. Lush care has figured out how to do self-care very well. The soap and bath bombs are intoxicating and the staff is super friendly and able to explain why a product works for you. I'm not saying this from experience, but if you have a known allergy, I'd say keep in mind these are handmade products and could easily contain some type of allergen. If you need to give your feet some loving care, I recommend the pink peppermint foot lotion. It just soothes and relaxes tired feet and I'm here to tell you after walking around a trade show and hotel mall for an entire day. Your feet want to be treated to this foot lotion. I prefer the shower gels and bubble bars over the bath bombs, but truly there is no way to go wrong here. read more

Let's call this preliminary review at this point. One of my kid has a lot of allergies with products and ran across this place at the mall and gave it a try. They've been using quite a few of their products and have had very good luck with them. I've always had some problems with what I had been told was dandruff but apparently it is just really dry skin. I have also been looking for some products to take care of my beard and the ones that I found online aren't available in this country. When we walked in I did notice an immediate sense of all the products they had from the smell but it wasn't as off-putting as most places. I myself have trouble with perfumes. The products I checked out here didn't cause me any issues. I spent a little time chatting with one of the associates and we came up with a couple of items for me to try. They also gave me a couple of free samples of some other items that they felt might also help in conjunction with the ones I was buying. The prices here are not cheap but for the quality of the products and how they are made they are actually quite reasonable. I brought home the products I got and I tried them all out. I have to say that on the first usage I was very happy with the result but I won't pass judgment fully until I've used them for a little bit and been back to see if these are the best ones for me or if I should change and try something different. Overall I have to say I'm very happy at this point and I hope I stay that way. I know that my kid has been doing very well with their products for several months. Lush sells great products for men, children and women. They will give out tiny samples of their products if you are not sure which products are better for you. I normally don't write reviews after the first visit to anywhere but I'll do it if I'm given good enough reason to. OMG!!! Bruce is the truth! From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by him he made me remember why I fell in LOVE with Lush in the first place. His customer service, his knowledge about the products, his willingness to help me find the mask that fits my facial needs at this moment where impeccable. He took his time taking me to the different sections of the store explaining things like why Lush is famous for its freshly handmade vegan products. He even gave me a little insight on one of the founders who is a trained Trichologist (a person who studies the health of hair, and scalp). I mentioned to Bruce that I had been interested in using the Hanna hair dye but heard how messy it was. He didn't sugar coat it and was very upfront and honest and agreed that it is very messy but if you want a healthy alternative to dyeing your hair Hanna is worth the try. He reminded me how it coats the hair instead of striping the hair follicles to deposit the color. He also demonstrated two different masks on my forearm and took his time to massage them in really good so that I could get a sense of what it would feel like on my face. I really, really appreciated that because I'm so serious when it comes to trying new products on my face. Then he took me over to the sink and washed it off to let me see and feel the difference of each side which definitely gave me a better sense of the one to buy. I'm very happy with the time and the care he took with me. He made my experience worth the visit. I only went in for a lip balm and now I have a fabulous mask to try. read more

So first of all, I want to shout out two things specific to this store, that were really outstanding and earned them the 5 star review from me: 1) Great service: Mum and I were in a time crunch and the bloke who take care of us was so super patient - esp when mum asked him a gazillions questions while I kept muttering in the background that we are in a time crunch to go pick my brother from the airport. I have been a longtime fan of Lush products, having loved them since they added a Lush store in my local mall back when I was in high school. Then, as now, I was conflicted between my love for their product line and my anxiety about going into their stores and being harassed by employees wanting to rub lotion on my arms and give me demonstrations of every product and making me feel generally uncomfortable for just wanting to browse at my own pace. As a friend once said, "if I ever walk into a Lush store and they don't say one thing to me the entire time, I will buy every damn thing in that store." While I'm not quite that extreme, I obviously am not a fan of the aggressive sales techniques Lush is known for. I have never experienced that in this particular location, and this is the only Lush location I can say that about. I really like this store and all of its employees. They are very friendly and welcoming, but not in any way aggressive. They'll ask if you need help and tell you to let them know if you have any questions, as you would expect, but they won't pester you about products you have no interest in. If you ask about something and they don't have exactly what you're looking for, they'll recommend something similar and tell you about it. This is the exact kind of service every Lush store should have. If I think I'm going to be pressured into buying something when I walk into a store, I won't go into the store, and I certainly won't buy anything. If I feel comfortable walking in, I might walk out having had a pleasant experience, with something I actually want or need. But I was actually looking for a scrub and mask. I was helped by an amazing sales associate by the name of Lucia. I'm one to make random friends at businesses because they give me so much life but this girl knew the answers to all the questions I was throwing at her. Not purposely, of course. 1/21, it was a Sunday. On my second to last day in Orlando Florida I went to Lush with moderate expectations. In NYC, the Lush staffers seemed to do the bare minimum even when I'm spending $$ there. HOWEVER! I met MICHAEL who introduced me to some brand new products (which I bought) and restocked on some old. He took the time to educate me on the innovative product Ro'argan and how to PROPERLY use it. And then there was STAR, she was great about introducing the bars of soap by the front and ringing us up. Face mask, lotions, scrubs, and especially shower jellied are to buy for. 1 thing I do not like is the man with the beard, glasses, he had on a bluish bear hat, he gave us attitude (my first time lush friends) a hard time. At one point in my life, I was a Lush-aholic spending upwards of $100 a month on a severe bath bomb addiction. Unfortunately, shopping here is so unbelievably frustrating that I gave this place up a few years ago. From the moment you walk in, an overly perky, phony female employee will bombard you with sales pitches. You will want to walk over to the bath bombs (which are cheap), but she will walk you over to the lotions (expensive) and force you to sniff things you didn't want to sniff. If you do manage to break away, believe me, she will find you because there is no place to hide. It is impossible to shop in this store in a calm, solo manner. The sales ladies here latch on to you, and suddenly you have a new best friend you never wanted ordering you to "Smell this!!!" If you express interest in something priced by volume, like soap, she will literally paw through the pile and hand you the biggest and therefore most expensive slab. I had one sales rep do this and didn't give me the chance to object, instead taking it up to the cash register so "It can wait for you." It doesn't stop at the register, either. This is where they make the last sales pitches. You are begged to buy solid perfumes. No? How about this solid lotion bar? In fact, try it on. See how smooth? Frustrated with the entire experience and disgusted to learn that these employees don't make commission for the pleasure of being annoying twits, I gave this store up. I cannot handle aggressive selling techniques. Their online store is somewhat ineffective because you cannot smell the products before buying, but it is worth it to shop in peace. read more

On average I use at least three Lush products while in the shower. I was introduced to Lush a few years ago by a sorority sister who worked there, and I have been hooked ever since. Ocean Salt is a must have face wash and addictive in the best kind of way. My favorite soaps are Sexy Peel and Honey I Washed the Kids. And Bob. I just got Karma for the first time and I'm very excited to use it. I love both the bath bombs and bubble bars, they make a bath feel like a treat. So that is how I feel about Lush, an undaunted love, despite the sometimes hefty price of product! Especially this Orlando location. The girls who work here are absolutely fabulous. I love love love Lush! I made a huge purchase here on my last vacation since there isn't a lush near my current hometown. However, I was alarmed at how the prices have gone up. And after doing some research, I was saddened to hear how the products are not as natural as we'd like to think. Check the Think Dirty app to see how the products compare, most get about 5 out of 10 and they advise against such harsh fragrances and chemicals. It seems like with popularity the prices and natural quality have diminished. Overall though, the products here are better than your commercial grocery store/ drug store products and they work wonders! There facial cleansers are amazing! I got the Lettuce Lover and it cleaned up my face really nicely. I also got two of there soap bars.. one in seaweed and the other in porridge. The old location was fine, but this one is HUGE, giving more than enough room to browse and walk around, a massive contrast to their tiny Millenia location! I'm a huge fan of Lush so I'm always excited to check out their stores - I own hundreds of their gorgeous, natural & cruelty-free products and admittedly spend far more of my money there than I probably should. I've visited a few times since this store opened and it never seems to be busy at all before lunchtime, with staff always available to help out and give advice for any specific concerns. Aaron was particularly helpful and friendly after I mentioned my dry skin issue and was happy to recommend me some lovely products to try out at home. All products were well stocked with plenty of choice available and I ended up buying a small Whoosh shower jelly for my boyfriend. All staff seemed positive and excited to suggest products I might like without seeming pushy at all - it's a real pleasure shopping here! Be sure to ask for a free sample to take home of anything you're interested in, and if you're looking for a special gift, there are so many beautifully wrapped gift sets to choose from - I was tempted to pick up the Rosie gift set for myself, as it included 2 items completely exclusive to the set & I'd never spotted it in any other stores!
