Went to pick up my online order and noticed they do waxing services so I decided to try their services and I'm so glad I did. Isabel is great! She's sweet, knows what she's doing, and really makes you feel like that girl! This was the first time that I have been to this location and I absolutely loved it! I was pleasantly greeted but a lovely young lady by the name of Ivy. She was helpful and informative about the products that I was looking for. I expressed how intimidated and overwhelmed I would feel going into a Sephora and she put me at ease in no time. When we concluded our chat, I continued to browse the store when another very friendly employee by the name of Mario approached me to ask if I was finding everything OK. He also helped me with an item that I thought was out of stock but he went out of his way to look for it while we had a friendly chat. Thank you both so much for your help and your kindness! Shopped here for the first time today. The location is nice and spacious! I was greeted at the door as soon as I walked in. After asking if I needed help, I said I'd like a color match for concealer and Savannah was SOOO helpful! She literally walked me around the store and helped me pick out a concealer, setting powder, and contour stick that perfectly align with the needs I explained. I just visited the store with my boyfriend in search of a certain fragrance. Let me just say how welcoming and friendly the staff are! Even the security was so welcoming! The beauty associate who helped us out was ANGEL, and they were the sweetest. Not only did they help me decide what perfume is best but explained to me the difference of certain terms like EDP and Parfum, which I didn't understand until today thanks to them. They also secured checkout quick and simple. I would definitely be coming back especially with everything mostly in stock. LOVE! read more

I have been a customer of Sephora for a decade and today I decided to never set foot in a store or buy online from them again. A few weeks ago I bought a $200 gift card for my partners birthday and today I gifted it to them. We took the card to the store to make a purchase and they tell me there's a zero balance. Wtf!? The girl assured me if I call the number on the card and provide my receipt info they'll take care of it. It was incredibly embarsssing but I was basically shooed out since they had one cashier and we waited in a huge line. I called and talked to two reps and two managers and no one helped me. A rep and manager even said this has BEEN HAPPENING A LOT and people will do something to the card and put it back so when someone buys it, they wipe out the balance and buy stuff. So they know this is an issue and they do nothing about it and I'm so out of luck. $200 is a big deal and not only am I out that $, but it was so embarrassing and now my partner is out this gift. Now I'm wondering, if it's the employees who scammed me or someone else? They also had the audacity to tell me that I should treat gift cards like cash. I DID! I kept it with me, gave it to my partner, then we took it straight to the store. But THEY DONT treat it like cash. They have the vulnerable cards right on the counter for anyone to grab and mess with, but somehow it's my fault?! I asked them, if it's a recurring issue, what are they doing to prevent more of their customers from getting ripped off?! Nothing. They told me to try calling my bank. My bank said they'll give me a decision in 90 days. This is so messed up. Don't go to Sephora and def don't buy their gift cards. They will rip you off and gaslight you like you did something wrong. I love how close the store is to my house and right next-door to my job but the customer service depends on the associate. I went in today, March 15 to exchange a concealer and buy three more items and the associate who helped me in the front was rude. I didn't have a purse because I was on break. I took the concealer I was going to exchange in my pocket. Not once did I took it out. Once I got to the register and told him I wanted to do the exchange of colors that's when I took it out. He looked at me and looked at the concealer, inspected it like no other and asked me if I used it and I said yes once but it was wrong color. At the same time he was speaking to me I took the other 3 items out of the Sephora little basket and gave them the basket back. He rudely said to put the items back into the basket, which it did. Once he did the exchange he asked "are this the ones you taking"? In my head I'm like "well yea obviously" I said yes, he scanned them and then told me the total. I tapped my phone to lay and he just kept looking at me like I did something wrong. I understand it's busy and it's a new store but no need to make an experience so uncomfortable. Like I said I work in the plaza and I do customer service for work, this is not correct. Need better training and have manners no matter how busy the store gets.. I came to this store location 4 times, and I probably won't be back to this location. It's very close to my house which is wonderful! I was very happy that they placed a Sephora closer to my location. However, each time Ive been here the staff is so rude and act very disinterested. Don't seem approachable to ask questions, and when they do approach and act nice it seems like they think you're stealing. Employees AND bodyguards stand at the end of aisles watching your every move. It's discriminatory and very disrespectful to your customers. Customer service needs better work. I will drive to Cerritos just to shop there in peace. I don't want to feel like I'm constantly being watched about stealing... read more

If I could give a negative 25 I would. I went into the Store looking for Skincare products and to my surprise no one greeted me not even a Hello. I wanted to purchase a brand that they evidently not carry but needed skincare so I'm always open to suggestions. It was about 1130 when I went into the store so I assumed since there were few people someone would greet me. I wonder if the owner of Sephora would be happy to know that this behavior is not only rude but it hurts the Company's profits. Rule of thumb if the Employee's cannot ask if you need help that obviously the Company does not need nor want your money. You are the Customer you deserve that much. I came in just to try out a shade of foundation I wasn't sure about. Alejandra asked if I needed help finding a color (of course I did), and she color matched me with the product I was interested in AND showed me several more that had the skin care benefits I was looking for. Super helpful! One of the items was not stocked in the shelf and she went to the back to see if they had it. She finally offered a trial sample of one of the products she showed but she color matched me so well, there was no need for it. This was by far, the best Sephora customer service I have ever experienced! read more

Today April 14 I was at Sephora buying a perfume and other stuff but ended up leaving. I asked three sales ladies for help but they kept telling me I'll be right with you. They never came to where I was at to help me. Then I was feeling very frustrated so decided I should pay the only item I had was a perfume and asked two sales ladies with hand held devices if they can check me but they refused to check me out. I called to ask a question and it gave me options so I pressed the number that said "speak to beauty advisor". I asked my question which should have been answered "yes or no". The girl didn't say anything, she just transferred my call to another department without telling me...not good phone etiquette at all!! I got to the store and just wanted a gift card. I see the long line so I ask an employee (Christina) if there's another way I can buy the gift card. She says I have to wait for someone named Nadine, who was helping someone else. No problem, but I inform Nadine I want to be helped next and she says "it'll be a few minutes". She said I can just browse the store in the meantime. I did that for about 10 minutes and saw she wasn't nearly done helping the customer so I just went to the regular line which went by faster.
