I'm going to start off this review by stating that Daisy's products worked up to a certain extent and were able to help me clear my acne for a long period of time; however, this review is more about other things related to their products. So first I would have to say that their products are expensive: its around $80-$90 for two small bottles of benzoyl peroxide and their facial treatments cost around $50 something each time you go so it can get pretty expensive. Second, I don't really agree with some of their acne treatments because i think it can be harmful long-term. First, they perform extractions on your face, including cystic acne and papules. This hurts a lot and it ended up with me getting a few ice-pick scars from these extractions because what they do is that they poke a hole on a cyst, squeeze everything out and rub some sort of liquid on it after. This would always hurt and i never felt like it was the best way to get rid of cysts but i did it anyway because I didnt know better. Eventually, i was left with some scarring because of how abrasive the extractions were. Also, I am a male and Daisy told me to shave with the benzoyl peroxide face wash instead of normal shaving cream so that my skin would dry out. I did this and it left my face super dry to the point where every time i would open my mouth, it would be uncomfortable and tight. I asked Daisy if i could put moisturizer on my face or if i could do other things to help alleviate the dryness but she told me that she wants my skin to by dry to decrease oil production. This basically always left me really dry and uncomfortable and since i was using the face wash as a shaving cream, it wouldnt last me a long time. Eventually, I stopped going every week for a facial because it was getting too expensive and their products stopped working for me after a certain period of time. So, overall, I just wanted to write a review that stated that their products are good to a certain point but some of their other methods of getting rid of acne are not safe and they can be quite expensive. read more

I wanted to give Daisy and team 5 stars after the first consultation BEFORE I even started treatment but decided to hold off until I could actually vouch for this business. To start, I came here looking to try and treat many dark acne scars and hyperpigmentation issues after I started getting cystic acne breakouts again in my 30s. Daisy is awesome and has been in the business the greater part of her life. She knows her craft. She met with me and spent a considerable amount of time explaining her process and treatment plan. I had been to other dermatologists prior who recommended chemical and laser treatment packages up to $3k - I was definitely not going to go in that direction. I thought I would try out DaisyMD based on reviews and the fact that they have 3 different locations depending on the day of the week. Daisy suggested a more natural treatment approach that focused on gradual non-chemical peeling of the skin and controlling oil that clogs pores. I don't really get this place. I want to like it and maybe it does work for some people but not all and be careful. I came in for a consultation and Daisy briefly looked at my skin, she said it was bacteria and she could work with it but just the way they do it which I understood at the time but she never cared to ask about my history of acne or interested of products I use etc. They did their extractions and put their mask on and I left with some medication on my face. I used their cleanser and moisturizer only for a week because they told me not to use other products but theirs because this will dry out my skin and for the following treatment it will be smoother to remove dead skin and bacteria. That week my skin dried up so much and although I didn't like it I still kept using their product because I thought I was going to start seeing results for the next to week since that's what they advertise. My skin was dry, I aged a little and I'm in my early 20s and I got a rash on my neck because of the severity of the products. I was only using those 2. They gave me another cleanser and moisturizer for sensitive skin and my skin was still drying but not as much, my rash was gone a couple days later but the dryness was not it for me. Wrinkle lines became more visible when using their products and again my skin was sooo dry! I did not look the same, young, and my acne kinda looked the. I stopped using their products after 2 weeks. I couldn't help seeing my face age and see no change in my acne. This was my experience, about 2 months ago. You're going to get results, but it takes patience and some pain. It's once a week appointments with an at home routine. A simple wash and cream is all you use at home, NOTHING more. It HELLA dries you out as the week goes on and it is noticeable but they remove that layer of dead skin weekly so you start with new skin. So it takes a lot of perseverance to be able to not hide from everyone cause it is kind of embarrassing to have noticeable dead skin on your face. But after having acne for 8 years, I can do a couple of months. The appointments could be just as bad as the week because they do multiple things to your face but I'm only going to talk about the extractions. They do remove the bacteria from your face by doing extractions and this can be PAINFUL as hell. Fortunately, as you progress in your treatments, this gets less and less. Not less and less painful, but the duration of pain decreases because there is less to extract. So i made my appointment a week in advance. When i showed up for my appointment 30 early... i waited 2 hrs... they said that it was only first come first serve basis and appointment were unnecessary. Came in for a free consult regarding sudden acne on my face . Daisy came I'm barely looked at my skin and told me I had Rosacea. Never in my life have I ever had Rosacea. She told me I also had Bacteria which is all connected to the rosacea . I asked her more than once if she was sure about this . She told me yes . That she's done and seen thing many many times and didn't need to touch my face to know . I told her I had hard lumps under the red inflamed area she said she knew lol . She told me the only way to treat was to pop the pimples cold Turkey and apply topical antibiotics once the pore is open . This is what scared me. Something inside me told me this wasn't right . She insisted that this was the only way and there was no other way . Not even oral antibiotic would help. I left . I beg you to get a second opinion . This isn't the proper way to treat any acne . I went to get a second option the next day. I don't have Rosacea. And I have Adult Nodular Cystic acne . This dermatologist was amazing . She answered all my questions. She gave my face cortisone shots to alleviate the swelling. She sent me home with oral antibiotic and topical along with night time retinol. She said that by no means should poping these help . I have always suffered from acne, but in Spring 2016, it got worse. I decided to try Daisy MD Care after my cousin recommended me, and my face started clearing up quickly. However, by September, I stopped going and stopped using her products. When Spring 2017 came around, my acne flared up once again. I went back to Daisy and almost immediately, my face started clearing up. I am so grateful and happy with the results. The only negative thing that I can think of is that it can get a bit pricey, since weekly treatments cost me $55 and the acne cream and cleanser cost $40 each. However, I think it is worth it. This place is amazing. I started going 1 year ago and I will never regret. Even though it's a little pricey, it's totally worth it!! My skin is clear now, it took time but they helped me to not get that many scars. I was suffering from cystic acne due to a very bad hormonal imbalance and nothing was helping me out. I went to dermatologists and all them offered me lasers or accutane or birth control pills. Also, the last doctor I visited offered me spironolactone, a medicine that can treat high blood pressure and fluid retention, and it may help at the beginning. But what doctors don't tell you is that when you stop any pills, the side effects are worst, you can get sick from other things and also your acne comes back. What I like from Daisy MD Care is that they only do skin care treatments, and if you keep going once a week, try to eat healthy and use their products as they say, you will see results faster. I remember I started seeing improvement after 3 weeks and now my face looks so clean, I don't have pimples, just like 3 scars but they give you treatment for that too.
