This is my first maybe review. Sephora has a lot of great stuff and majority of the time are stocked with everything. The line is what kills everything. I went on a Sunday afternoon and the line was from the register to almost the mall entrance (that's ridiculous). It wasn't even Black Friday. I was having trouble with my new Sephora credit card, so I went in. While on the phone with customer service and standing in line from the beginning to the end of the store the man tells me you'll have to wait until tomorrow to make your purchase. I was like I've been in line 10 minutes already, you've got to be kidding me. Manager Bree asked if I needed any assistance and I told her the deal and asked was there anyway she could check my card. She immediately pulled out her little machine rang everything up and the card showed I had to wait until tomorrow. I was bummed but glad she was able to help me figure it all out and not have to stand in line that look like it was going to be another 15 minutes. I always enjoy going into Sephora because both the products and the visuals are great. The makeup and hair styling of the assistants working there are so forward leaning. Sephora gives their employees full rein in this regard and it's just so much fun to see the wide sense artistry. Whitney helped me on my last visit. I am a super picky person with my mascara I been having a hard time finding one that I really like. I had help from a guy I don't remember his name but he had long hair and he helped me pick out a mascara that I actually really like! I been getting compliments on it and I'm in love with it. I never felt this confident with a product. All the mascaras I try before I had to take 1 hour to make it look good on my eyes. With this one I was recommended it took me 20 minutes! Worst Sephora I've ever been to. I have come here multiple times and I never buy anything (mostly because the in store options are terrible and anything I'm interested in is always sold out in the store). And I have never been asked if I needed help in there. I actually get really rude side eyes from the workers for some reason. Today I was grumpy and looking to buy something to cheer myself up. After looking at VS and seeing nothing, I decided that I'd see if an employee would ask if I needed help and then tell them I wanted something bright and fun and buy what they show me. Because I kind of just needed to spend money and get some of that dopamine. But, as usual, gross looks from the employees and they helped everyone around me and wouldn't speak to me. I did a quick glance and didn't have anything pop out to me, maybe an employee could have helped me find a hidden gem? Who knows? I don't think I've ever made a bad yelp review until now but after THREE bad experiences here, I have to say something. My last 3 trips to this Sephora where very disappointing due to the rudeness of the staff. The makeup forever rep made me extremely uncomfortable, I had to leave and lost my interest to purchase anything after the interaction. With each visit it seems to offend the staff when you ask for help, very condescending and poor customer service appears to be the culture here. Deeply saddens me as a makeup lover, the staff really ruins the experience. I would advise anyone reading this to purchase makeup elsewhere. read more

Small, selection is limited and has a dirty feel. It is very unorganized and the customer service is terrible. So pretty disappointed. I spent over an hour in this store shade matching/fragrance hunting only to find the product I finally decided on was not in stock. The gentleman that spent so much time with me said bcz I wanted to purchase in Store and it wasn't available that I could have it shipped to the store for free shipping and I could pick it up there. And who knows, maybe he did misspeak, but considering they didn't have what I wanted to pay for while I was there, why would it have been different? Are they discontinuing the product? Don't you have to order it back in stock anyways? Wouldn't I already be purchasing in store had it been in stock? Anyways when I got up to check out not only was I stuck with the same girl I felt was following me around but she had a pretty stuck up attitude, as did the woman I'm presuming to be the manager. I explained I wanted to have the product ordered and they refused said only a remote address it could not be shipped to the store. When I explained the situation/conversation I had with the gentleman they basically threw him under the bus. Said he misspoke. Didn't even do me the courtesy of calling him over and asking him to clarify. Or better yet, just doing me the courtesy and emphasizing in the future protocol would be ABC. Excuse me, ma'am. But I know what I was told and having been a longtime customer who would have purchased in store had you been fully stocked, perhaps you can accommodate? Like, customer service? Shout out to the gentleman who helped me. I won't name him bcz I already mentioned his name to the rude staff and if they're that snide to a paying customer I can't imagine what they're like to their coworkers. The person who dies the service are licensed, but I don't think they do many waxes and and with that said, not so great! I needed to buy a primer and the brand I used before went out of business. So I wasn't sure which one to get and Tanisha introduced me to NARS primer. I always had a problem choosing the right color for my concealer or foundation. Since she seems very knowledgeable, I just asked her which concealer is good to cover my dark circles. I told her that I want to have a natural look that blends in with my skin tone and to have enough coverages. I am so glad she was able to find the perfect color for me!! I went in to get primer but ended up with both concealer and foundation as well but hey I'm so excited!! If you have a same problem like me, you need to go find her!! When I walked into the store, as usual I was greeted in a friendly fashion by the store employees , and then I began to look for what I needed. (Perfumes and foundation.) I ended up asking an employee named Carson for help, and I'm so glad I did. She was so knowledgeable about every single brand I had questions about, as well as so friendly and personable. Not only that, but she was able to introduce me to several new products (that I now love and am obsessed with ) based off of me telling her what perfumes and foundation I normally like to purchase. I went to buy some lotion with my son. Overly aggressive sales people swarm me asking if they can help. I asked if they were on commission they said no. Just had the a pretty unpleasant experience at this sephora. It's in a mall so of course it gets busy that's understandable but at one point there were well over 10 ppl standing in line for over 15 mins. A woman in front of me ask an associate named Amelia if there was anyway we could open another register after we watched her fix her hair after standing around doing/helping no one for longer than 5 mins. Amelia's reply was something you'd expect from a warriors at one of those restaurants where the theme in purpose is to be rude. She pretended at first not to hear the lady and when she repeated herself Amelia rolled her eyes, spoke into her mic and then went to open the register. She then made multiple comments about two people in line being hysterical which I assume she meant me since I agreed with the woman in front of me. Btw the woman who asked if they could open another register wasn't rude and merely asked an appropriate question given the circumstance and when Amelia rolled her eyes I commented "that's crazy" because I genuinely wasn't expecting that response from a sales associate. She ended up checking out the woman and had a very visible attitude the whole time and even pulled her I assumed manager off to the side after the transaction to exaggerate the whole interaction stating the woman was giving her a hard time. I could tell rudeness associates is a common thing here since the manager didn't seem in the slightest concerned about the customers either. I went in today to make an exchange on a make up compact and return 2 other items. The compact was on a different receipt then the other 2 items. During Check out the associate asked for help from the another employee ringing next to her, I assume she is a manger of some sort. She directed the girl to do an even exchange on the compact since I didn't have the receipt. As she began to start the transaction I remembered where I purchased and let the associate know i bought at the new Sephora in kohls. She again, asked the associate next to her for guidance. The associate not helping me said , "you need to make a return there", speaking to me directly. Made no sense since the girl was already ringing my exchange through. I let the associate know I will just return the 2 items and go to Kohl's. I let her know that items are brand new, not used. At the end of my transaction the associate not ringing me says out loud in front of everyone, check the items to make sure they are not used. Customers lie about not using them all the time. That was totally uncalled for and not necessary. She clearly heard me say out loud I did not use them. She could have discreetly pulled that employee aside to let her know to double check return items. If she is a manager she needs more training or should not be on the floor. More or less a keyholder in training should be her title. She has no people skills and is so rude. I felt bad for the girl ringing/helping me. I try to avoid coming to this Sephora. I only come here when my local Sephora doesn't have what I need in stock. Been to this location 3-4 times. I usually ask for help with something simple like where a certain brand section is or if they happen to know if my shade is in stock. Seems like every time I go and need assistance there's only this one employee or guess I should say "manager" available. It's always the same.. I ask her something then she automatically (and dismissively) says she can't help and will put me on a waitlist to get assistance. It's a busy store so I understand that sometimes you can't get an employee to assist you right away but for a MANAGER to just brush you off and not even try to figure out what you need before putting you on a list is kind of ridiculous. She can simply point to what I'm looking for (which takes 3 seconds) instead of making me wait 20 minutes for someone else to do it for her. They are clicky in talking only with themselves offer no help and if you do need help they act bothered . Also they NEVER ask to use points at the register when I ask to use them they huff and puff . As a manager myself I'm surprised that there are no secret shops to asses there actions . People would spend way more money with associates that are helpful and friendly . My initial experience was unwelcoming and the short girl with eye lash extensions, dark hair and what seemed to be a grown out blonde money piece had the worst energy and is completely unhelpful... reconsider hiring? She didn't even take the time to direct me properly to the product I was asking for. From experience you look alive until your store doors are closed.. plain and simple. Then met this sweet souls I forgot her name but she had reddish hair and slicked brows she help me find both the dior lip oil and the haus labs line.. she knows how to give excellent customer experience and should be rewarded for it.
